DO NOT use this company. They will take your money and then jerk you around with scheduling while being INCREDIBLY rude and surly. They changed the date of my install AFTER they had already torn out my old kitchen, without telling me anything about it, and then acted like it was my fault. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Note, these are currently the contractors used by Lowe's for kitchen installations. They are running a scam together - Lowe's promises the sky and takes your money, then passes you off to these jerks. You'll be waiting for months for your kitchen install, guaranteed, and anytime you call to ask for an update you'll be treated like dirt for having the audacity to ask for information. read more

These guys totally played us; strung us along until we put down a $12,500 deposit for a kitchen remodel, then suddenly the rep we were working with quits the company, and after a few weeks of vague reassurances, the owner of the company admits the business is closing down and they're keeping our deposit. Took my deposit of nearly $10,000, purchased $1200 worth of materials, did not perform any work, then a month after giving him the deposit sends me a letter saying he has hired an attorney to close out his business and I may not get my money back. A thief! Has committed fraud. I have filed a complaint with the Registrar of Contractors and the Attorney General's Consumer Information and Protection Division. If he has done the same to you, I suggest you report them as well. read more

I have only good things to say about Spectra. After experiencing many problems with the company that made my cabinets... delays, lost and damaged cabinets, obfuscation on the part of workers who took no responsibility for the problems, unfinished and unusable kitchen for weeks on end......I turned to Spectra for my countertop. The company was kind enough to order the quartz based on may drawing without a template (which I had done later) and gave me a date of installation. All my dealings with the manager Jeff and Yvonne in the office were without drama and easy peasy. What a pleasure to deal with competent and nice people. STAY CLEAR!! Unbelievable the experience I'm still having with this company. Both Jeff's are completely clueless on what customer service is and what attention to detail is. It's been 2 months since Jeff's last email to finish cleaning up the mess they made of my kitchen just to get a letter from a lien company asking for the final payment, LOL You can't expect to get paid if the customer isn't satisfied Jeff! Simple home repairs had to be hidden because of the awful job these guys did! Honestly your better off just hiring someone off Craigslist. I posted this review on google and Jeffs reply was consistent with his company's ethics.. yes it was an insurance claim, and yes I do expect work to be clean and neat; none of which this company has shown it's capable of delivering. read more

We had Spectra Kitchen and Bath redo our kitchen and we could not be happier with the result - it's absolutely gorgeous! We no longer have to get down on the floor to access any of our storage and that was our main goal. read more

Our relationship with Spectra started in Feb 2020 via our builder. Numerous issues on communication, quality, installation, workmanship began once they started work. Wrong handles holes drilled (in one pc twice), warped cabinet doors, loose baseboards, wrong replacement parts ordered, poor finishing, replacement doors being misplaced or lost in warehouse, sent to wrong jobs. Knicks and dings after installation needed to be addressed. On two occasions they brought someone else's doors. They would come and measure, take pictures and still come back with wrong parts. The installers are all cordial, but I think the lack of company communication and backup is not there. The general manager or owner Jeff S. basically stopped replying to emails or answering my calls after about a year of trying to get problems corrected. Today April 2023 and we still have two issues never fixed and we have given up and will live with warped door. My advice is to not do business with this company until they change management. read more

I really wanted to be supportive of a local business but after 6 weeks of leaving phone messages and emails I have yet to receive a quote on a kitchen and floor remodel. On 9/22/20 Ray the manager came and took measurements of the kitchen He spent over an hour measuring and re-measuring the same area. He then asked about the flooring. I told him I was considering having new flooring, he said they also do flooring so I provided the sq ft. To date no response on either the kitchen or the flooring. Just a waste of my time. read more

We used Spectra for our small bathroom remodel project and had an unpleasant experience, primarily due to poor project management and little to no communication. When several delays occurred, it took numerous emails and phone calls to get a clear answer as to when work would be completed. This was particularly frustrating as we had to rework our personal and work schedules often based on limited or incomplete information. We had to provide regular reminders about features to be installed and confirm that this work was completed, some of which had been forgotten. At times, it was also unclear when certain subcontractors would arrive and how long they would be at the house. Spectra also had inadequate timing and/or complete neglect of product submittals that we asked to be part of the project - we should not have been approving products the day of install. We found the lack of communication to be disrespectful of the fact that this was our only bathroom in our main house, that we have a small toddler, and that we were 7 months pregnant. Finally there was a lack of quality control. We had to email after completion of the project to address unfinished work and damages to existing features. We've worked with many contractors at our home throughout the years and are accustomed to this process and need to be flexible. However, this project was an exception and could have been greatly improved with better communication, management, and transparency. read more

Laura Spiri's response is not the truth! Jeff Spiri knew we wanted beveled edges on the granite but he called it an eased edge!! I told him whatever you called beveled! They charge extra for beveled but it's Home Depot's standard. The fireplace was a freebie so we would go through them. They were not willing to credit the beveled cost, they were rude and nasty. They told us if his wife Laura sold us 8 or 9 houses in real estate that they would do a house with granite for free!! Well we never had that happen, they screwed me, once was their friend for a total of $200!!!! You Do Get A better deal at Home Depot!!! I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I did that to anyone!! We had Spectra out for all our granite projects (three bathrooms a laundry and and our kitchen). Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable and very responsive to any questions. They always showed up when promised and did a great job. We were very pleased with all the work they did and highly recommend them. read more

Could not be happier with my new granite counter tops! The fabrication and installation was flawless. They maximized the slab so the whole counter looks seamless. Under mount sink is perfect. Shout out to the wonderful gals in the office and to Ray Leon who came out to make sure I was happy. Will use this company again in my home. read more

I really would have appreciated the opportunity to work with this company, until I realized that they have serious issues with communication and reliability. Initial interaction was with the owners wife over the phone to set up an appointment. She was very personable, professional, and efficient. Next interaction was with the owner himself, who came to my home to give me an estimate. The owner was also very professional, kind, and had the patience to explain the process to me, as this was all new to me. Third interaction was with the construction manager, who was supposed to get ahold of me within a couple days after meeting the owner. This is when it all went down hill. The construction manager dropped the ball big time. He did eventually come out to do the 2nd walk-through, but it took him much longer than a couple days to get here. He proceeded to send the plans for my project several weeks later than promised. The plans were all wrong, and not according to what the owner and I had discussed. When I asked for revisions to be made, it took months for him to get back to me, but never sent over the revised plan. I have yet to receive the final estimate, which was requested over 6 months ago. read more

We used Spectra for our master bath and kitchen remodel and the entire experience was more than we expected. Dennia was great from the original estimate to our final contract, she always returned email and phone calls promptly. Yvonne in the office always called and who would be coming and when they would be coming, if I ever had a question, she would answer or ask someone if she didn't know. The contractors who came, I can't say enough about how wonderful they were! From the guys who came out to remove the countertops, to the guys who came out to template, they were professional, friendly, and overall NEAT! They put paper down, they vacuumed, I couldn't tell they had just removed granite! Luis, did most of the work in our master bath and besides doing a great job, there were a few challenges, he didn't give up! We had a butcher block island made and the carpenter Salvatore, did an amazing job. I really can't say enough about the people and service at Spectra. I would highly recommend them and if I ever need more work done in the house, they will be my first call! read more
