My boss at work said that her husband's co-worker's father (did you catch that?) did their taxes and I should give him a call. Since then I've just mailed him all of my tax documents and he's completed my return for me VERY quickly and at an extremely reasonable price. He's also super fast to respond to emails. I somehow had too many questions he…read morecouldn't answer and went ahead and filed without my signatures maybe because I was asking for my money back. He had no idea that my taxes were prepared differently than the year before by his own company. He just seemed to not want to deal with it. I could not believe this guy would do this. He somehow used a pin number, and I'm not sure how he could do that. Maybe it was from the previous year? At first, I didn't feel comfortable that they wouldn't let me review the returns until I paid them, but when I finally reviewed them, there were errors and a huge tax bill I had ever seen. They didn't catch the proper deductions. When I discussed this with Ralf Reinberg, he just made that one correction. That's when I asked for an extension to have them reviewed by another accountant. I had no issues the first year, but in the second year, our taxes were completely prepared differently than the last year. When I called back he would disguise his voice and never returned my phone calls. I had to have my taxes amended as the second accountant said that they had placed my deductions on the wrong schedules and prepared them completely incorrectly - not even sure if they did that on purpose or if they really don't know what they're doing. Do NOT use this guy at all! He's an all-around bad person.

Do yourself a favor and stick with smaller tax preparers as this company will readily take your money but WILL NOT HONOR THEIR AUDIT GUARANTEE! She took my information and told me that I'd be hearing back from them shortly. I never received a reply. I would recommend asking to leave a direct message with someone in charge. If I can talk directly to Keith in the future, I will definitely give KD another shot and revisit the review as I hear great things about them. But first impressions are so important.
