In…read morethe past, we did our taxes as a family, but since getting married this tax season was my first time doing taxes with my wife. Mr. Bill broke things down to my wife and I and simplified everything for us. all we needed to do was bring all of the correct documents and let him do his thing. Very laid back and insightful, instilling plenty of confidence in a job well done. He charged us a very reasonable and fair rate for his services, which he always has. When it comes to the kind of beast that taxes can be, it helps to have a team that can make it a little easier. I have been, and will continue to recommend his services. 10/10

Would not recommend after meeting with Tara M. For my 2023…read moretax return Rose was great to work with, where she explained things in detail. Value was comparable to other accountants. Though I had many recommendations and referrals for other accountants, I chose to work with Rose because I chose to specifically support a woman and minority owned business. One piece of advice from Erin Benzakein from Floret about hiring a bookkeeper and accountant was that if you feel dumb or awful after meeting with either, then it's time for you to hire a new accountant/bookkeeper. I was having a hard time managing my own bookkeeping and was inquiring about this service. I met with Tara and she was condescending, defensive, and was gaslighting me when I started crying on the call after she went on a diatribe about the importance of bookkeeping. I also disagreed with her statement that "Bookkeeping is the backbone of your business." Unfortunately, Rose was also on the call and there wasn't any intervention. I would recommend Rose Brown only if you were just working with her and Darin, but would stay away if you are on a call with Tara.
