This office is a solid argument for why chiropractors are not respected. The chiropractors are rotating and unprofessional. They do not take notes in their database and you will repeat yourself to the roster of rotating chiropractors . The office is poorly operated. For example, they send birthday cards days after your birthday and then offer a birthday gift that must be used soon after the birthdate. My birthday was 4/4 and their letter was sent post marked 4/12. I've asked to be removed from their text marketing three times. Ultimately, the owner living in Florida and entrusting her practice to and unfit team is the root cause. While the cat is away, the quacks will play. read more

What an absurd waste of time. Within the first thirty seconds inside the exam room, I could smell the sales pitch coming. There was an 'education' on Chiropractic Care which involved scare tactics including an image of Christopher Reeve in a wheelchair. To be fair the Staff Member was friendly enough, but I was clearly being 'primed' for the next day. More on that later When the Dr. (Finally) came in, he was hard to understand. When I asked if there was another Dr. I could work with, he seemed incredibly offended and told me he was the only Dr. On duty. After X rays were taken, he told me I would need to come back with my husband the next day. I told him I was a gay woman (which I'd just told his assistant 20 minutes earlier. Who's offended now?) He said okay, you'll have to bring your wife then. I told him I was single. At this point my blood was boiling. He kept pushing and said I needed to bring a parent or other loved one. This was getting ridiculous, but I conceded. Next day: I'm shown immediately to a back room with all sorts of props. There's another 'education', and then I'm told the Dr. will 'be right in'. More than thirty minutes later, Dr. comes in to review my X rays. I'm quizzed about what I see in the images.... I don't know, I tell her, you're the Dr, why don't you tell me... After an uncomfortable meeting with her, what I'll call 'the closer' comes in to review my 'treatment plan'. For a minor neck injury, I would need more than 50 visits!! I literally started laughing out loud. When I pushed back on this, I was given all sorts of canned responses about how I didn't get this way overnight and it couldn't be fixed overnight. Well guess what! I found an honest Doctor a few weeks later who got me feeling better in 4 visits!! I spoke with a handful of other patients at this office and found out that they all have virtually the same 'tailor made' treatment plan. The front office staff were friendly, but overall this felt like, looked like, and turned out to be nothing more than a scam to get patients to return endlessly. Don't waste your time. I had a terrible experience here. I got X-Rays, and the doctor who reviewed them with me only told me how awful the x-rays looked, and how it would take years to reverse, but with my insurance I would NEVER be able to afford. Yup, a doctor told me I was in bad health and wouldn't be able to afford care. She then told me how she spent a ton of money fixing her daughters braces, but how that was just for "cosmetic" purposes, and that I would have to spend a similar amount in order to repair my back. I sent the x-rays to several friends within the physical therapy field, all of whom told me they saw no issue with my back. I have been to several doctors who have told me I am in perfect health. So, this place stinks. Find a doctor who cares and is honest with you about your health. Not someone who wants to rip you in for money. read more

CHIROPRACTIC-SERVICE - First of all, a very nice staff. Dr. Park seemed to be distracted when I explained my issues and ironically enough I had just been to an orthopedic DR. prior to this initial appointment. He wanted his own X-rays , even though I had literally just had a series, one hour before. I told him I didn't care if he did additional x-rays as long as I would not be charged if it went against my insurance. Once the X-rays were complete Dr. P told me he would meet with me the next day for a 'treatment plan" and told me to bring my husband.WHAT? Ummm? I am a grown, 61 yr. old woman for goodness sake! He seemed to push back/ question me, when I told him that wasn't gonna happen. Very odd to me & quite sexist IMO Day 2- I was left in a room for quite a long time, which is not very respectful of my time. I noticed there were all these framed categories of phases- Normal thru Phase 3- all with a plan of WAY over the top treatment plans and a boxed scare tactic stating: - NOT completing this phase would lead to the next phase and the last Phase stating NOT completing this 76+ visits/12 month plan" WILL" result in fusion spreading" ARE YOU kidding me??? I additionally noticed these PROPS-- (bowling ball-lamented curved spine sheets ect. ) When Dr. P. finally came in ,he went over my ex-rays and if felt like I was being quizzed. Darling, I didn't go to med school- YOU DID--You couldn't do my job and I would NEVER ( Well, maybe I would now) make you feel less for your lack of knowledge in my area of expertise. Sorry, but when I go to a professional, I expect them to have a personal plan to get me out of discomfort- NOT to be, NOT listened to- NOT to be ignored- NOT to be handed off to a (very nice) office gal,( Katie) who had in essence a multi -level "sales plan" to sell me. I am not used to this type of DR. at all. AND BTW I have VERY good insurance and of course the "plan" recommended was not covered. Katie sensed I was annoyed and not buying what Dr. P was selling and easily backed off when I started to question. This office is a mess. They cannot keep staff and their policies are stupid. I was sick and needed to reschedule my appointment. I already had 3 appointments for the following week and I couldn't do either of the other two days that they were open. They wanted to charge me a $25 cancellation fee for a service that I had already paid full price for in advance. The chiropractic service is mediocre at best. A friend of mine recommended I see a chiropractor after I'd mentioned experiencing pain from a serious fall in September. Unfortunately, the treatment plan I received only made my pain worse. I came in for my lower back and shoulder but Dr. Mike wanted to focus on my neck which was slightly forward. I trusted his expertise but when I asked about treating the other areas I came in for I never got much of a response. I would complain that the neck harness with weights was extremely uncomfortable but the tech Kristen insisted "it was worth it". After about two months I could no longer take it. I ended my treatment with persistent neck pain and terrible migraines. Both of which were not issues before. I'd spoken to Dr. J upon ending my treatment who said she would issue a refund. Out of the $2850 I paid upfront I only received $129. And a payment of $59 was withdrawn from a separate account after I ended my treatment. I have made several attempts to receive an appropriate refund but I believe my calls and messages are being ignored. Before the refund was issued Dr. J was quick to follow up but now when I call she's always busy and she never calls me back. I have since seen a neurologist who informed me the treatment I received from Spector agitated the nerves in my neck which is what is causing the migraines. I'm having trouble sleeping, working at my desk, or just keeping my head up from time to time without experiencing pain. I am a very active person but I am now restricted from running, biking, swimming, and pretty much doing the things I love. I will be seeking legal counsel within the next week if I do not receive an appropriate refund for the pain and suffering I am experiencing due to their negligence. It appears they give the same treatment plan to almost every patient regardless of the issue. I would never recommend this place to anyone! read more

Stay away from Spector Chiropractic. The x-rays are done in a very haphazard and unprofessional manner. He and the chiropractors that work for him run from patient to patient, doing quick and dangerous neck adjustment maneuvers. He openly contradicts his staff, leaving the patient confused. He hires fitness center goons to administer a "muscle relaxer" device, which actually increases the pain and tightness in the areas around the shoulder blades.
