Since then there have been several times when the glasses have become loose , and I have lost a sunglass lens they have cheerfully corrected the problem free of charge. When we were unable to find the exact frame for one of my daughters they went to a lot of effort to source the correct frame from the internet for a good price. This is a locally run opticians and Optometrists, and is small and perfectly formed…read more If you want a quick eye test and the newest pair of designer frames, you could go elsewhere, but if you want a more in depth eye exam, or a test for some kinds of visual disturbances, (such as Irlen syndrome or other forms of Dyslexia) than you should start here first! I visited last year for my first full-length eye-test, and the Optician, a very gentle and entertaining chap, really did a fantastic job. He went into great detail to explain various conditions to me, not just the symptoms but the scientific causes, and seemed to enjoy sharing information. The price was good, and the service was excellent.

Although the range of frames is not gigantic, they are priced reasonably and can suit any budget. I don't feel like they are out to make money out of me, they say things as it is and explained the tests they were doing and why they were doing it. Nearest parking is the Lurke Street multi-storey carpark which is just 1 min walk from the opticians

These guys are definitely a cut above. Can't remember what the optemetrist was called but they were lovely and gave me some good info about eye care ! Will be coming back here as required!

I ordered a frame online, automated purchase message said "we'll let you know when your order is on…read moreits way". A week later I messaged their customer service to get an update, no response. I tried the chat function on their website, no response. I sent a message on their facebook page, no response. After my second email to customer service they responded by saying "we'll let you know when it's on its way". I emailed back to ask them to specify if I should wait a day, a week or a month but of course nobody bothered to reply. There's no option to cancel the order so I'll have to talk to my credit card company to get my money back. I'm sure they're lovely people in the store but their online customer service is non-existent.

The staff really know what they are talking about and are all very friendly. They were happy to recommend glasses i should try on and even ordered a couple of pairs in for me because they thought they might suit me. Price is very good, its about average for opticians but the level of service you get is so good.
