Yes that's on me for not checking, however, I didn't expect a 100% markup. I returned to the store within 10 days to either request a return or a price match. I was told to come back at a specific time when a manager would be available. Since I couldn't make that time, I called the next day and confirmed a manager was present before going back in person. For context, the product was unopened in its original sealed packaging with the original receipt and form of payment. After making a second trip, I was given multiple conflicting explanations after being told to return for the refund: first that they couldn't price match because the item was out of stock online, then that too much time had passed (despite it being under 10 days), and finally that their system wouldn't allow the return at all. Customers should not have to make multiple trips only to receive conflicting information and no resolution. The inconsistent communication and lack of clear policy or escalation options made this a very frustrating experience. I would strongly recommend comparing prices before purchasing any products. I'd appreciate someone from ownership or management reaching out to resolve this.
