The Car Care Center - Circled is the part fixed saying that it was the leak location, it was not.

I chose this place due to "honest work" reviews and being that it's right by my home. Unfortunately…read morethat is not my experience. I sent the email below and sent to their text line and was told the owner would be in contact. I have called since to request his call and received none. I was mindful and patient. It has been over a month since I was initially told he would call and have had no resolution. We are out $600+ on repairs that were not needed/incorrect. "To whom it may concern, I recently brought my vehicle to your shop for service due to a noticeable sound occurring during acceleration. Your team was unable to locate or diagnose the source of that sound. Instead, you identified a coolant leak, which led to expensive repairs totaling over $600 (including parts and labor). Unfortunately, after the repairs were completed and the vehicle returned to me: The original acceleration sound persisted unchanged as you all could no locate it. Diagnostic cost incurred there but no repairs were made. The coolant leak continued as well. I later rescheduled an appointment with your shop, and I received a call indicating that no diagnostic fee would be charged this time. However, due to concerns about the prior service, I decided to cancel and have an independent mechanic inspect the vehicle instead. The independent mechanic immediately identified and fixed the source of the acceleration sound by replacing a faulty bracket--a relatively straightforward repair that your team had not located. Additionally, shortly after retrieving my vehicle from your shop, my check engine light illuminated. The code indicated a "coolant thermostat" issue. Upon further inspection, the mechanic located the actual source of the coolant leak. While I can see the new hose your shop installed, it was not installed at the leaking location. The leak was coming from a different area entirely, and clear evidence (stains and residue) shows this has been the ongoing source for a significant period of time--well before and after your repairs. I have attached photos clearly showing the actual leak location and the part that actually needed to be repaired. In summary: The acceleration noise was not diagnosed or repaired by your shop. The coolant leak you claimed to have fixed was not properly addressed (wrong location repaired). I paid over $600 for work that did not resolve the reported issues. This has resulted in additional costs to properly diagnose and repair both problems. I would like to discuss how we can resolve this matter, including possible reimbursement for the ineffective repairs and compensation for the additional expenses incurred due to the incomplete/misdiagnosed work. Please let me know a convenient time to speak with a manager or someone authorized to address customer concerns and billing disputes." I would give 0 starts due to lack of professionalism and accountability but cannot do less than 1.

I'm new(er) to the area and I like to support smaller businesses whenever possible so I contacted…read morethis auto care center. Paul, who answered the phone when I called, was courteous and very helpful. They were pretty booked for the next couple of weeks but he scheduled me in for an oil change the very next day, stating "that can't wait". I instantly felt that I was valued and my vehicle's maintenance is their priority. Upon my arrival, I found ample parking and a tidy front office. The front office person cheerfully greeted me immediately upon entering, which is not common in this industry (in my experience). Aside from a drive-thru style oil change place which is often questionable, I don't believe I have ever been cared for so swiftly. As a woman, I have grown accustomed to being demeaned by men in the auto profession. This company may be the exception. They may exude traditional values but they are enlightened and I was treated as a peer. What a relief! From end to end, this company was professional, efficient and uncommonly courteous. I will be back and I highly recommend them.
