I immediately drove it to Varden's for a repair estimate. Not only were they quick to check the damage to my car, but they are a select provider for vehicles insured by State Farm and Farm Bureau. Using either of those insurances to cover the cost of the repairs puts you at the head of the line and repairs start immediately. The repairs were completed in a timely manner. The star for value was not verified. I don't know what the expected cost of this repair should have been. This is the first accident I've had to have repaired in several weeks. It was a scorching day and no one wants to be out a tire on a day like this. They seemed to access our desperate situation and wanted $40 for an old dry rotted tire. Our choices were walk down the road another 2miles to see if we can find a better tire for a better price at Tidwell's or just let ourselves get ripped off. They did offer a 30 day guarantee so we decided to go with a tire that was intact. They didn't bother balancing the tire and then the tire leaked completely flat twice within the first week. As soon as we had some spare time we went to return it and get our money back since they offer 30 days guarantee and one week for leaks, we find out they just try to fix the leaky tire or trade it in for another. They do not refund. Who has time for these kind of tires or that kind of service. We were thankful for a temporary tire during a desperate time but the price and service is awful. We won't be making the mistake of ever using this place again. My dad told me "Make it to Tidwell's next time."
