Avoid Dr. Jane if you value your time, money, and smile…read more I first saw Dr. Jane in 2018 to address TMJ issues, and she referred me to a specialist. I spent years with that specialist and returned to her in 2021 to complete my treatment, under the impression that it would only take two years. It's now nearly three years later, and I'm faced with two choices: switch to another orthodontist or live the rest of my life with a smile I'm not proud of and unresolved jaw issues. Dr. Jane has shown a complete lack of care and attention to my treatment. For almost a year, I've been told that I'm "just a few adjustments away" from being done. Ten months ago, conveniently after my payments we're over, was the first time she said it was about time to remove my braces. When I pointed out my misaligned teeth and remaining issues, she said we would make the adjustments as I "deserved a perfect smile" after all this time, yet she has done little to make it happen. The problems are blatantly obvious. My front teeth are nowhere near level, I still experience TMJ issues, and my molars are so far misaligned that I can lick the brackets on the outside of my teeth even when I'm completely biting down. When I brought my front teeth alignment issues to Dr. Janes attention she said she "doesn't see it" or dismisses my concerns and said she would "leave a note in my file". Other people notice my teeth are misaligned at a glance, yet Dr. Jane keeps telling me I'm "one appointment away" from being done. The best visit was after she misaligned my teeth so much that my bite was off and I could no longer bite without my jaw popping. Dr. Jane then got visually aggravated with me and told me that was impossible that happened and issues like that are only caused by trauma. The final straw was seeing pictures in her office of other patients with clear misalignment after their treatment. At that point I realized that I will never get the results im looking for with Dr. Jane. I've spent over $13,000 between Dr. Jane and the specialist she referred me to, only to hear from my new orthodontist that I'm still months away from completing my treatment. I asked for a partial refund as I know they spent time and materials on my treatment. Dr. Jane has refused to refund me any of my money even though her treatment has not been anywhere near satisfactory. Now I get to go spend another $6,000 due to her failure to align my teeth. Don't make the same mistake I did. If you're considering Dr. Jane, think twice before committing your time and hard-earned money to an orthodontist who seems incapable of prioritizing her patients' care or achieving satisfactory results.

The lack of communication, professionalism and respect for my time wasn't worth another wasted minute with Parkside and Dr. Sam - the old owners son. Horrible quality dentistry and lies after lies after lies! I would not recommend them for anything due to everything failing or becoming infected that they touched. They flat out lied to me repeatedly and were "practicing dentistry" on me. I heard several other patients in my many many many visits complaining of Botched work as well. Bone graphs, infections, constant antibiotics, rushed work all at your expense and your wasted time. I wouldn't let them fill a cavity. If you have 6 months to go without any teeth in your mouth and enjoy wasting time at a dentist at least once a week, then call Parkside and get the ride of your life of lies. But if you want teeth to eat and smile with, don't call this place because after shelling out thousands and thousands of dollars and your time you'll still be back where you started. Worst dentist I've been to in 50 years. They have no business doing dental implants and unless you want to be their next practice victim like me, call someone else or look like Frankenstein with swelling, infections, failed posts and posts pointing in different directions that can't be fitted to anything. I found this out by both driving past the office and that voice/emails had a different name attached. I didn't care for this at all. Also, I no longer live near that dentist, so I decided to look for a new one. I found Laurich Dentistry online and checked the reviews, and decided to try it. First of all, the office is bright and cheery. The waiting room is large and inviting. And the staff all seems happy; I heard a lot of laughing while I was there. The second thing is that, instead of old posters, they actually have TWO televisions in the rooms -- one on the wall and one on the ceiling -- so that you can completely relax during the appointment. I don't get nervous at the dentist, but I found this to be very much a patient-centered idea. Third, they were extremely thorough. They took several different kinds of x-rays and 3D images of my teeth. Both the hygienist (whose name I've forgotten, but I believe it starts with an A -- I want to say Aziza?) and Dr. Matt went over with me what they saw. I've never seen my teeth like that before! One of the things that I really appreciated was that the hygienist realized that I have a small mouth, so rather than making me jam the larger x-ray device in my mouth (which has always been uncomfortable in the past), she found a smaller one. I am so glad that I decided to change dentists. I wish I'd started going here sooner.

When I met Dr. Matt, he of course, was very friendly and professional plus explained in detail exactly what he would be doing and made sure I understand what was going to happen . He always made sure I was comfortable and not in pain. The procedure actually went quite well. I am very happy that I had. Dr. Matt to do the implants and I definitely would recommend him.

Dr. Kareem is incredibly kind and gentle--honestly, she's the first dentist I've had who didn't hurt while numbing the area! The office is very efficient too; I was taken in just 5 minutes after arriving right on time. The assistant at the office was so friendly and helped calm my nerves since I tend to get anxious at the dentist. I had a temporary crown placed the same day, and I'll be returning in 3 weeks for my permanent one. I'm really excited to make this office my family's new go-to dental care provider!

SO, I made an appt with Dr. Felsenfeld's office and I'm so glad I did. When I went in for my first consultation, the staff and Dr. Felsenfeld were so nice and accomodating. The office was clean and looked very new. The equipment was new and updated and the offices were nice, welcoming and comfortable. I had to have x-rays taken and the x-ray machine was so high-tech! It went all the way around my head and took the pictures... there were no annoying bite-wings or anything else to manually deal with. Dr. Felsenfeld was nice and made me feel comfortable. He thoroughly explained the process of the wisdom teeth extraction and told me everything to expect. We continued with my first consultation and he wished me the best until we met again. The staff completed the end of my visit by scheduling my appt and discussing payment with me. I received a follow-up/reminder phone call in the week of my appt. The day of my extraction appt, I was taken right back to the room where the procedure was to take place. I was swiftly set up with the anesthesia process. Before I knew it, I was feeling giddy and verrrry sleepy. I was also hearing what sounded like a jazzed up Black Eyed Peas instrumental. I wondered if it was coming from the overhead speakers or from a speaker in my chair or something. Before I knew it, I was awaken and being led to the recovery room. The procedure was done! Wow! In recovery, I was given my post-op instructions, Rx and my ride took me home. Kudos to the staff again for today's exceptional service and thanks to Dr. Felsenfeld for this procedure and making me feel so comfortable.
