I feel like companies like this MAKE the people of these areas poorer. They are about like a…read morecartel. Thankfully I will never have to be involved in another place like this. In places where it is hard to find work you almost HAVE to use these companies until you get your degree. How is it fair to work yourself into the ground have the companies pay them $17-$25hr+ and you get normally between $7-$8hr? No wonder the economy is so bad in these places! I worked here with a lady named tracey for two terrible jobs. I worked diligently and never missed a day and was repaid with consistent rudeness and many various issues with paying me for the time I worked. My checks were almost always inconsistent. I had to keep on top of them constantly otherwise I was not getting paid for the hours I REALLY worked. I hate to think about the other employees that did not keep track of their hours how much they lost a year. I was ok with biding my time here and finishing school for a better career. I told them I had to take a few days off to go to some doctor appointments for my wife's pregnancy. They said that was fine. AS SOON as I did not show up the company I was working for manager fired me (without a reason... seriously) and then Tracey told me they could not place me until after the pregnancy. I was dumbfounded that people could act this way. I work my heart out for $7.25, never missed a day, put up with countless issues with pay and hours (not to mention your rude staff).. then out of respect I tell you I have to take two days off and I'm gone? No real explanation of why either. I forgot to mention they let me go right before Christmas! That was probably the worst Christmas I or my family ever had. I used this experience to make me a better person and add to my success in life so it was not all bad. People like you and your poorly run company should be shamed of yourself and what you do.
