Very professional and polite. My daughter's (9YO) hygienist was great! Cleaned her teeth. Talked to her about proper brushing and flossing (as well as gum health). Dr. Baker was kind and helpful. The office area was neat and clean. I liked that they had seating immediately where your child is being cleaned. I watched the staff thoroughly clean each chair (the entire chair - head to toe) and associated station after each patient. Loved seeing that! Out of all the medical appointments I've been to (and on behalf of my child), never - not once - has the office EVER had printed school calendars (for multiple Counties) available at the checkout station, where you make the appointment or next time. It's small things like that (and the immediate chair/station cleaning) that demonstrate great customer service. I would definitely recommend them, based on my first experience.

The area of improvement lies with the billing department. There were occasions where I called, left messages without my call being returned. Popped in and asked why my call/concern went unanswered but the office manager was always sure to make sure that I got resolution and left confident that they'd take of care of things. What I really like is how they explain what procedures are necessary and those that are optional. A solid outline of what payment is due prior to service and payment options are available to minimize financial impact. When a recommendation was needed for my son's wisdom teeth removal, a clear explanation of who we were being referred to was done and they even assured me that the surgeon accepts my insurances. Gold star to all the hygienists here who conduct themselves in a professional, approachable manner and are excellent dental hygiene coaches for young adults who need pointers. Gentle in the line of duty, whenever my son had discomfort they listened to him and described what they were doing and didn't promote anxiety about coming to the dentist. Plenty of parking, play area inside for children and they have overhead monitors that play movies as patients are receiving care. Nice decor, all areas are clean and each visit has a dental swag bag.

The dentist there became a dentist in the Army and if that isn't a red flag, I don't know what is. I went for a cavity to be filled in May of this year. They billed my medical insurance instead of my dental insurance, hence the continuous denials from BCBS. I received a text reminder for my next appointment scheduled for 10/13 to which I cancelled. I had no intentions on EVER returning to this office. Fast forward to today 10/21/22 and I get a bill that says $132 is 30 days past due (never received a bill mind you) and a $35 no show, even though I cancelled. I get emails everyday from the post office with images of mail being delivered that day and not once was a bill from their office in there. Also, I have a permanent retainer and the dentist said he could remove them and fit me for a removable retainer. Gtfoh my guy. You're not an Orthodontist. This guy and his practice is FOS and nothing but A SCAM. Don't say I didn't warn y'all!

It pains me to change the review. At first I thought I was impressed after our first visit but…read moreafter reading articles and talking with friends who are also parents. The rule of thumb at the first visit is to never restraint the child. It would traumatize them and instill fear of the dentist for a very long time. Read this: https://children1stdental.com/what-is-papoosing/ I had first taken my child to my dentist but they were not pediatric dentists and I was advised to take the kid to a pediatric dentist because they would know best how to provide care for the child, especially a 4 year old. Why wait this long to start dental service? Covid. I first took him to dentist when he was 2. It was actually not bad, but then COVID hit and no dental appointment was to be made until the offices opened up. So that doesn't help. So I seek for a pediatric dentist and came across to this. On my child's first visit, he was restrained. There wasn't a relationship established first to build trust. Who will have to take care of the kid's fear of dentist? Us, the parents. Not this dentist. I was a little disappointed after reading about restraints should never happen on the first visit. I got an email from Dr. Weng explaining that she wanted to have 30-minute chat with the kid to establish a relationship. So I made an appointment with explaining to my kid the dentist just wanted to chat with him, there wouldn't be procedures done on his mouth. But apparently I was either miscommunicated or misunderstood so he was traumatized twice. After 2 visits, this dentist office recommended that we find someone else. In full disclosure, my kid does have some work needed done on his teeth so he's not exactly an easy patient, but I really think the restraints hurt him the most. Because with my dentist, he was pretty good. I'm not sure if it's the age, at 2 and at 4 or if the restraint made him to blacklist all dentists. 2 stars because they're easy to schedule an appointment and the staff there are friendly. They made us to feel welcomed. The minus of 3 stars because of restraints and referring us to find someone else (when they're pediatric specialists). Off to look for a new pediatric dentist.
