He bailed on us half way through our foundation/basement project. He had us pay about 75-80 % of…read morethe contracted amount without doing that much work. Our footings weren't level and we had to make up the difference when we found out they couldn't set the house properly. He never finished out the contracted services and we had to hire them out at additional cost obviously. Siding the house has been a nightmare as the 'studs' for anchoring aren't always where they should be. Our basement (ICF filled with concrete) is now leaking less than 2 years from being poured and less than a year from the house being placed on the foundation. It's not leaking though a window seem either. It's directly through the concrete and air pockets from it not being poured properly from what we can tell. On another note the window openings weren't square when he put them in so when we had to install our own windows it was a pain because once again they weren't square. I wouldn't wish him on my worst enemy. Also from what I read on the other unrecommended review I'd say she's probably is spot on. It doesn't seem unlikely at all. Check it out and make your own conclusions.

Technician showed up promptly at scheduled time, conducted a very thorough inspection of the AC components. He was not able to identify a specific issue, however the capacitor was a bit out of spec, so had him replace it since the unit was already disassembled. The issues I have with the service is 1. No report of the tests done and findings during or after service other than verbally.2. We were charged $240 to install the $30 part and the unit was already tore down from the inspection.

We reached out to Big Sky in urgency, as we quickly had surfacing sewage, and they were off to our rescue. They were incredibly conscientious of the limitations of our property (creek-front) and chose the Presby system for us. They also inspected our newly installed septic tank and saw that the floats and alarm were not properly set, so they corrected that as well. Kinzie even made a very late in the day trip out to replace a component so we didn't have a lapse in use. They were incredibly communicative and responsive every step of the way. Just really, really awesome and competent people to work with. We would highly recommend!!

I recently hired Helena FixIt Services for a small bathroom remodel, and I honestly couldn't be…read morehappier with how it turned out. We were looking to update our basement bathroom: new vanity, modern faucet, fresh tile surround, new toilet, better lighting, and a quick fresh coat of paint. Nothing structural, just a tired 90s bathroom that needed to feel clean and current without blowing the budget. Robert was fantastic from the first phone call. He came over the same week I reached out, listened carefully to what we wanted, gave honest feedback about what was realistic in the space and our price range, and sent a clear, detailed quote within 24 hours--no vague "ballpark" nonsense. The pricing was very fair for the Helena area, especially considering the quality of materials he recommended. The work itself was completed in 6 days (they said 5-7, so right on target). He was polite, clean, and clearly knew what he was doing. He protected the floors and hallway perfectly--no drywall dust apocalypse like we've had with other contractors. Highlights: - The Schluter strip details and perfect grout lines look pro-level. - He fixed a slow leak in the shower valve we didn't even know we had (saved us future headache and money). - New LED vanity lights + recessed lights completely changed the feel of the room. - They hauled away all the old fixtures and left the place spotless. Communication was excellent the whole time--daily updates via text with photos. Any questions we had got answered quickly, and he was happy to tweak a couple small things (like moving the towel bar over 2 inches) without any attitude. Bottom line: our bathroom now feels like it belongs in a much nicer house, we stayed within budget, and the whole experience was stress-free. If you're thinking about a small-to-medium remodel (especially bathrooms or kitchens), I'd call Helena FixIt Services without hesitation. 10/10, would hire again in a heartbeat, in fact we plan to! Highly recommend! -Sarah M.
