I tried to order an arrangement for my girl friend with yellow roses in it. They didn't have any yellow roses, but said they could do one with yellow carnations and alstroemeria lilies. I said that sounded good, but I wanted to her to send me a photo of the kind of flowers she had available so I could see the color in advance. She refused. I was visiting Lander last week, and I had to get some flowers the day before Thanksgiving. Annie and Laura were very kind and accommodating. I asked for a mix of 18 roses with baby's breath. Laura put together a bouquet of fresh, beautiful roses while Annie helped with the transaction. Since I was traveling from New York, Citibank flagged the charge as suspicious. Although they always have fresh, beautiful flowers, they seem to not listen to how brides want them arranged. I was in a wedding this weekend where the bridal bouquet came but was not as discussed MULTIPLE times with the florist. A couple bridesmaids returned it and had them fix it to the brides specifications. I also used them for my wedding 4 years ago, and my bridal bouquet was missing the key flower that I had asked for (stargazer lily - for a splash of pink, one of my colors). Instead they gave me a dinner plate sized plain white lily. read more
