All I can say is WOW!!! Brock and his team provided excellent service. Even with the amount of emergency tree service going on right now because of the storms Spaulding was able to squeeze in my non-emergency work and take down two 60ft+ trees from my property. It took them only about 2 hours and they did a great job cutting up the wood and stacking in the back of my property so I could use it later for firewood. I was very happy with the Spaulding team. They were recommended by my contractor, and did not disappoint. I had an 85 foot maple tree with large roots growing under my house in the backyard that had to come down. It was tricky because it was between the house and the deck. I also had a 90 foot pine in the front yard by the bay window. These guys were timely, professional, careful and neat. Had tree waste in the road that needed to be cleaned up. We agreed on a day for the job to be complete. Each day something else happened (another job ran long, truck in the shop, no reply) and I was pushed to the next day. I finally had to hire another company to take care of the job as I was pushed back 6 different times. Unfortunately, they were unreliable. Find a company that is honest that you can rely to have the job done. Tree and Junk removal said they would be out the next day at 8am and arrived exactly at 8 and got the job done well! read more

I can't say enough great things about Spaulding! Brock and his crews are extremely professional, organized, and efficient. Two weeks ago, they came out to remove a ~90 foot oak tree, remove 3 overgrown river birch, and do other trimming around the house. Last week, before Hurricane Florence hit, they came back out as the storm was approaching to take out the last of my 'sick' oaks. The guys did a fantastic job and were very cautious as they were working in 20mph winds with some gusts. They made sure every bit of loose brush was cleared before the stronger winds arrived. After all that proactive maintenance in my yard, during the storm, my neighbor's ~80 foot oak tree fell on my house and backyard. That happened on Sunday. Today is Wednesday and they made sure to get out to the house today to clear everything and fix the fence so the insurance and restoration companies can get started fixing the house. Outstanding work. Excellent team of workers. Initially had contracted for removal of 3 very large trees. After completing the work, decided to have an additional 2 large trees cut down. I had spaudling tree services to trim my bradford pear tree. First off, Spaudling Tree services quote was way lesser than the other tree services companies for the same work. After I gave the work to them it appeared that there was more work and the quote was underbid. But Brock and his team still worked with the original price. I ended paying a little over the original estimate. The Job was professionally done. The equipment used was very professional. Contacted Brock about taking down two large maple trees that had high voltage wires running thru the middle of the tree. Several other tree services had already come out and none would touch it. Brock took on the job, gave me a fair price, and after a few delays came when scheduled and had both trees down within hours. Very impressed with his crew. STOP! If you are using a Groupon, this company will not follow through on their commitment to the $200 of service. I had two different companies say that they would cut down and remove this small tree for $160-180. So, when I had Spaulding come out they said that they would do it for the $200 Groupon. When they got done cutting down the tree and loading it to haul it off, they demanded $500! When I refused, they threw the cuttings out on my lawn. I am filing this issue with the Better Business Bureau, Groupon and will likely be taking them to small claims court. I would not use this company again. read more
