My husband and I were very impressed with the work done by Spaulding Tree Service. The price was very reasonable, they were able to give me a quote promptly and once the work was approved, they were here within a few days to complete the job. They even managed to complete some unplanned work the same day-- removal of a large dead tree branch hanging far above our house-- that we hadn't noticed when getting the original quote. Again, the price was very reasonable. We have many, many large trees on our property and there's no question in my mind that they will be the first call I make if I need to have more work done. read more

They did a great job of felling the trees without destroying other fruit trees and shrubs, and cleaned it all up. I recommend them!

I promised I would write a truly honest review about my day waiting for Brock's team to get to my house for a 30-40 min job. According to him, there is NO way they could have ever give me a window of when they were going to arrive. Keep in mind this is AFTER he said he would be here in the afternoon when i told him my wife will have to make sure to be home. Well, the afternoon came and went and I had to text him again at 3:52 pm (hardly the early afternoon) and he just told me his guys will still be there (see text). At 5:44 pm he told me they'd be there in 45 min. I made it VERY clear we had to leave by 7:00 pm. They finally arrived at 7:10 pm and said Brock never told them anything about me having to leave by 7:00. Really? When I finally spoke to Brock, he reminded me my job was ONLY a $200 job and that his last job was $5k. Ok...and I care why? Should I feel honored he made time for me with my worthless $200 job? He offered me $175 instead and said it's not his fault (huh???) but then AGAIN had to remind me he has other jobs that were $5K and mine was ONLY $200.00 I said I don't care about the money and that it should have just been communicated better. Wow, was he defensive about that? He said "how could I ever provide an estimated window? It's impossible!" I reminded him he told me early afternoon and he said he was just saying that and that he actually meant "at some point today". Umm....never again. And I won't even go into the 100 for 150 "deal". I didn't bother with it after how badly he was arguing and how defensive and belittling he was. I was much happier to just pay and hang up on him. Never ever again.... Update from 9/10/18 - now apparently I'm a racist via the phone? Hey Brock, did you know I'm not a white guy? that BS doesn't work here so stop making excuses and harassing me for your pitiful work ethic and business practices. I asked if I could use YOUR $100 for $150 and pay you $25 on top of that for your late service. Last time I checked, that was $175. You complained SO much that I just wrote you a $175 check because I couldn't take your excuse making and got sick of being compared to your $5k jobs. read more

All I can say is WOW!!! Brock and his team provided excellent service. Even with the amount of emergency tree service going on right now because of the storms Spaulding was able to squeeze in my non-emergency work and take down two 60ft+ trees from my property. It took them only about 2 hours and they did a great job cutting up the wood and stacking in the back of my property so I could use it later for firewood. They actually left the land around the trees in better condition then they found it. The work was also completed for the exact quote that Brock provided. read more

I was very happy with the Spaulding team. They were recommended by my contractor, and did not disappoint. I had an 85 foot maple tree with large roots growing under my house in the backyard that had to come down. It was tricky because it was between the house and the deck. I also had a 90 foot pine in the front yard by the bay window. These guys were timely, professional, careful and neat. Oh, and the stump grinder was impressive, it BLOWS the dirt away with high velocity to expose roots, then the operator just shaves them down to below the ground! Thanks Brock read more

Fast and efficient. Thank you for taking great care of my mothers dead tree.

Had tree waste in the road that needed to be cleaned up. We agreed on a day for the job to be complete. Each day something else happened (another job ran long, truck in the shop, no reply) and I was pushed to the next day. I finally had to hire another company to take care of the job as I was pushed back 6 different times. Unfortunately, they were unreliable. Find a company that is honest that you can rely to have the job done. Tree and Junk removal said they would be out the next day at 8am and arrived exactly at 8 and got the job done well! read more

These guys at Spaulding Tree Service did an amazing job. The workers were friendly and very respectful from start to finish. The price was the best out of the three quotes I had gotten. I will be using this company from now on. read more

This was an exemplary experience. Brock came out and did a free estimate quickly after I messaged him. Of the 3 estimates my husband and I received, his was fair, not too high and not too low to make sense, and he seemed to be the best at communicating everything clearly. They were on time and did a fantastic job removing an oak tree that we've been terrified would fall on our house at some point. He has a great team, very professional. read more

Crew was fast and efficient. Did a great job removing a large 60 footer right beside my house. Affordable pricing.

Fast service and very professional. We've used Spaulding for several big and small projects. They cleaned up nicely after themselves and did a great job every time. read more

I can't say enough great things about Spaulding! Brock and his crews are extremely professional, organized, and efficient. Two weeks ago, they came out to remove a ~90 foot oak tree, remove 3 overgrown river birch, and do other trimming around the house. Last week, before Hurricane Florence hit, they came back out as the storm was approaching to take out the last of my 'sick' oaks. The guys did a fantastic job and were very cautious as they were working in 20mph winds with some gusts. They made sure every bit of loose brush was cleared before the stronger winds arrived. After all that proactive maintenance in my yard, during the storm, my neighbor's ~80 foot oak tree fell on my house and backyard. That happened on Sunday. Today is Wednesday and they made sure to get out to the house today to clear everything and fix the fence so the insurance and restoration companies can get started fixing the house. These guys do fantastic work. I HIGHLY recommend them! read more

Very professional, timely and responsive! More than pleased with the services provided and at a reasonable rate. Highly recommend!

Excellent service and reasonably priced! They cut down five trees in one day and two were very large! I would recommend them to anyone.

Brock and his team did a great job on a huge tree that other companies provided a prohibitively expensive quote for. They were able to schedule the work in a very short turnaround and were quick to respond to communications. Note: prepare to pay via Paypal or check. read more

Came out to give an estimate, never gave me the estimate, never returned several phone calls or text, Wasted my time.

Brock's team fit me into their schedule earlier than expected. They were professional and did exactly what was expected. They removed a 45 ft tree with zero damage to any of the property, cleaned up the mess and scheduled a stump grinding for the following week, which was completed a few days later. I am very satisfied with the service provided and would recommend their services. read more

I had spaudling tree services to trim my bradford pear tree. First off, Spaudling Tree services quote was way lesser than the other tree services companies for the same work. After I gave the work to them it appeared that there was more work and the quote was underbid. But Brock and his team still worked with the original price. I ended paying a little over the original estimate. The Job was professionally done. The equipment used was very professional. The company is fully insured so I had peace of mind if something went wrong I am still covered. Overall very good service and neat job. read more

Once again Brock and team provided responsive, courteous, quality service at reasonable pricing. They are efficient and are great on cleanup. I have used other tree services in the past, but will not use anyone but Spaulding moving forward. Hardworking and a pleasure to do business with. read more

STOP! If you are using a Groupon, this company will not follow through on their commitment to the $200 of service. I had two different companies say that they would cut down and remove this small tree for $160-180. So, when I had Spaulding come out they said that they would do it for the $200 Groupon. When they got done cutting down the tree and loading it to haul it off, they demanded $500! When I refused, they threw the cuttings out on my lawn. I am filing this issue with the Better Business Bureau, Groupon and will likely be taking them to small claims court. I would not use this company again. read more
