In the past, I've actually had cleaners ask me about the products I use and how I keep my house so spotless. Recently, though, life has been extremely hectic, and cleaning has definitely dropped down my priority list. After days of searching on Google and Yelp, I came across Daniele's cleaning company. The reviews and before-and-after photos convinced me to give them a try. I didn't hire them for a deep clean, but the quality of work Daniele provided was comparable to one and surprisingly close to how I clean myself. One anecdote I love sharing: when we recently moved to our new home, we had some light fixtures changed. We have globe lights over our dining table, and I genuinely thought the glass had a frosted finish straight out of the box. But when Anderson (Daniele's husband) started cleaning, he actually removed the globes and washed them thoroughly. Turns out they're clear glass, not frosted :P I'll be hiring this amazing team regularly and hope to maintain this relationship for a long time. Hire them for absolutely excellent quality of work and the most wonderful people to work with.

She's been cleaning my home for almost a year now, and I have no regrets about choosing her. Not only does she deliver exceptional cleaning, but her communication is outstanding as well. Rafas cleans areas that I didn't even think about, tackling spots that are tough to reach or clean, even before I ask. She's also very accommodating with any rescheduling requests I have, always responsive and flexible. Whenever people visit my home, they often comment on how well-maintained and clean it looks. Highly recommend Rafas and her team. They are truly the best!

However, I didn't want to mix business with my co-workers, so I opted for Rafas. When I requested a quote, she was very responsive and quoted me $300-380 for a 2 bed 1 bath. I thought $380 would be pricey, considering the house was literally empty. Additionally, the house was pretty clean--the previous owner had cleaned it before we moved in and they moved out only days after their cleaning! Nonetheless, I wanted to give them a chance. I was looking for regular cleaners and I wanted to start off on a positive note. Plus, if they did a great job, I wouldn't mind paying $380. I also brought water bottles and snacks for them. As we went over what was going to be cleaned and what wasn't, I asked if they could clean the dishwasher. Rafa told me they don't clean the dishwasher filter because they didn't know how to and didn't want to break it. She said they could set the dishwasher to a "self-cleaning" cycle, and that was it. Right before the cleaning, she quoted me $400. A large cleaning corporation that takes a portion of the earnings from all their cleaners gave me the same quote. I pointed out that this was higher than the initial estimate of $300-380, so she laughed nervously and said "Ok $380". Keep in mind, the house is literally EMPTY and was obviously cleaned recently so I don't know why the estimate went up right before the cleaning. My place isn't super big either, it is under 999 sqft. I thought this was odd. I began to wonder if the price increase was because my place was in a nice neighborhood, which honestly felt a bit off. Rafa also told me it would take them about 2 hours, but they finished in 1 hour MAX. After the cleaning, she didn't seem to thoroughly check her two helpers' work. I noticed several things were left undone. For example, I was told they would wipe the metal frame at the bottom of all the windows (window track), but I noticed one window that was clearly untouched and a few others still had dirt caked in the corners. Either they weren't wiped at all, or not cleaned thoroughly. It made me wonder what else was missed, especially since I could barely tell a difference between the before and after unless I looked very closely. Since my place was already empty and recently cleaned, it looked the same after the cleaning session. I could barely tell a difference, so why quote me $400 in the first place?! I also tipped 16% afterwards out of common courtesy. When asking her about regular cleanings, I was quoted $250 for a cleaning every 4-5 weeks. The next day, I texted her inquiring about regular cleanings and received NO response. I waited more than a week and never heard back. After speaking to my coworker (who owns a cleaning business), she told me that some cleaners who own their own businesses may take advantage of people who look young, naive, and live in a nice neighborhood. She was livid after hearing about my experience. I would not book again. I will, however, point out that they did show up early, put on a cordial front, and provided some service. I wanted to support a small business, which is why I chose them over a large corporation. Overall, I found my experience disappointing and wouldn't recommend this business to young professionals.

Here's the con's I didn't like that he had told me 2 people are coming to cleaned but later on just his wife was going to clean. But she can't move the stove and refrigerator. I had originally wanted done on Wednesday but had to push back till Saturday because of that reasoning. He said he had plumbing on the weekdays. We wanted 10 am but he kept saying 10-12. I was like what time are you going to be there? He said maybe 11am. We told him just call us when you're almost there. Ended up there at 10:15 am. Now there 3 people that ended up cleaning. We didn't know about that. Luckily no extra charge. His wife look like she doesn't want to be there. No greeting, no smile and no waving. They got to cleaning. While we were driving. Ryan called us saying our bathroom sink is completely clogged. He will charge us $125 to get it done. We're like it not clogged. Are you sure it's not going down at all? He told us to look at it. But we're in middle of driving. We told him no on 125 and we'll see when they're done cleaning. Then they called us they're done. We got there it smells good in apartment. The water went all the way down. We knew there wasn't anything wrong with the sink. They finished an 1 hour and half. Everything look good but the kitchen. I had to ask them who touch the kitchen sink? Piece of faucet was put to the side and missing the black rubber ring. They want to lie. I heard his wife said in Spanish there was never a rubber ring with an attitude. What does she know she never live there and yes there was a rubber ring with faucet. It there so water doesn't leak and her husband admitted it comes with it. I was wearing my AirPods with live translation. He claiming there was 3 of them no one touched the sink. Magically the piece of faucet is on the side. They missed spots on all the cabinets on the island side. There were still pieces of onion shells and crumbs on the cabinets. His excuses were there are marks that can't come off. When his wife wipe it off. Those are apparently "marks". I opened the oven door. There was grease all over inside of door. He said that just wet. I was like really the thick brown grease all over the door is wet. I didn't want to bother asking him to fix another things. The next day we had to come back spent almost an hour cleaning what they didn't clean and fix the faucet. They completely missed the hood, marks on stove top, marks on cabinets, marks on baseboards by kitchen and marks in the closet by the front door. For 3 people they missed that many spots. BTW I had sent them the list my apartment was requiring to clean. Here's the real annoying part of it all. He kept telling us he will email receipt. He took a whole day just on type what he charged us on the email. Like what business doesn't have receipts?! Now my apartment manager emailed me that's not an actual receipt. We messaged him back can you give us an actual pdf form receipt. Ryan starts giving us attitude saying he has other commitments. He has more important things to do. All we're asking for is a receipt it's not the much to ask. Finally he gave us a receipt. That took all together 3 days to give us an actual receipt. Ridiculous! UPDATE RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: You told me she can't move the stove and refrigerator but you can do that on Saturday because you're going to be there. It says on list I showed you. You don't remember conveniently that. Yea your wife doesn't look like she happy cleaning. She doesn't even smile or greet her own customers. YOU SAID IN YOUR OWN WORDS WATER IS NOT GOING TO DOWN AT ALL. IT COMPLETELY CLOGGED! When we got there water was completely gone. BOTH OF US HEARD YOU SAY THAT. Makes me think you want more money out of us. YOU STILL DONT WANT TO ADMIT WHICH ONE OF YOU TOUCH THE KITCHEN SINK. I ask you clean the spots you missed you and your wife rolling your eyes, whining and making up excuses. It's pathetic took you 3 days to give receipts. It doesn't matter if you're a new business. You should have receipts. I didn't like the attitude you gave to my partner. "Oh I have other commitments " that's how you run your business and treat your customers. Took me almost an hour to clean what YOU MISSED! I HAD TO FIX THE FAUCET TOO. NOW STOP CALLING AND MESSAGING ME AND MY PARTNER!!!
