A composite filling takes time so therefore nitrous oxide is a no go since she can wake up and freak out. They could not confirm any more than the two cavities since they were not able to get the pictures, however, they didn't mention some invisible cavity being a problem. I am very neurotic taking care of my daughter's teeth and have close-up pictures. It's pretty impressive how clean they are. Now the father gives me the quote from the Dental company and the Whole dental visit will end up costing about 4500 since it's 2000 for the dental work/not general anesthesia. so my daughter would've undergone anesthesia and walked out with five stainless steel crowns in her mouth. Oh, I was very clear. I absolutely don't give consent to crowns. They also wanted to add ceiling on top of the tooth that they were going to crown. I can't see how that's necessary but, OK let's make the quote higher and add in. stainless steel crowns are very fast for procedure so there was absolutely no reason to suggest that over composite filling. Something is truly corrupt and more people need to speak up about this child abuse. Thank God, my gut told me to look further into it. One woman was not as lucky and had the same exact quote, expected child's teeth to be filled to daughter being gone for three hours and walking out with a metal mouth. These people need to be stopped. I am so sorry for her. I need to warn everyone.

Dr. Lasser proceeded to put the blame on my daughter that the filling fell out and made her cry in the office. While crying, he had no compassion for her and continued the oral examination as if she was completely fine!! COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!! ...give her a minute to get composed! . And to make matters worse, they can't accommodate her to have the filling redone for months. My husband asked if they could fit her in soon to have it redone with her regular dentist and Dr Lasser started yammering about how busy they were because they were one of the only practices that still took dental dental.... totally off topic !!!! The oral surgeon looked at my teeth and thought that was "crazy" to just pull all those teeth and said it wasn't necessary he came up with another plan where only 1 tooth would get pulled. I wouldn't trust any of their work. They don't want to save people's teeth. *update 09/7/21* The Oral surgeon told me to let them do the deep clean since they take my insurance. I scheduled the deep clean with them and they canceled it without telling me. I called today since I didn't get an appointment reminder and they said that I "never had an appointment"... I have the appointment cards they gave me though... This place needs to get their act together. They don't seem to care about anyone. I brought my son here for his first dentist visit. They couldn't have been sweeter to him. I already made his next dentist appointment with them in six months. My only constructive criticism is that the main lobby looks like an adult dentist office. I actually wasn't sure I was in the right place when I first got there. Painting the waiting room with bright colors and adding some toys might make it more kid welcoming. If they have the extra cash it might be worth it to hire an interior designer to make the waiting room more fun. But regardless, I highly recommend this place to anyone with kids!

I replied yes but had a question...before I could even complete my questions the receptionist told me they don't make appointments until they can verify my insurance. I said that was fine however i had a question (i have bcbs and delta dental and wanted to know if I could specify which would be the primary, etc.), she told me to hold but forgot to actually hit hold where I could hear her and another receptionist badmouthing me about "asking so many questions", "probably doesn't even have insurance", "ugh another new patient paperwork"....she then realizes that she didn't actually put me on hold and says she's going to transfer me to someone else.. The next receptionist picks up and says "can I help you", I tell her I was transferred to her and that i was trying to set up a new appointment. Before I could even start asking a question I'm asked again about having insurance which I reply that I do. She starts taking my information and is increasingly more and more rude as I answer her questions and reply with my own (like why do you need 2 phone numbers and an email address to "remind me of an appointment? - simple question, right?!). This place was highly recommended by several people I know however based off this first impression by their reception staff, I can't believe they are able to stay in business with customer service like this. The hygienist told me I needed Xrays. I told her I already had them for the year. she said "no", you're due. Of course Delta Dental refused to pay because in fact I had already had them. Apparently the office must have lost them in the transition. Not my problem. I've called three times asking for justification and there's no one to talk to. I told them I'm not paying for their error, but the charge still remains on my bill.
