Despite the seriousness of that wall's condition, one or two other companies recommended wall anchor systems, which Brandon recognized would be insufficient to hold back a concrete block wall as deteriorated as ours. He also noted the insulation put around the base of our house by the previous company was meant for indoor use. We did make attempts to contact the company that did the original work, but it was murder trying to get them to respond. They finally did, but by that point we'd decided to go with Hart, even though the other company would've been less expensive. We just didn't trust that first company anymore. I'm glad we chose Hart because they did an excellent job. Brandon was very professional, letting us know what was involved each step of the way. They worked hard and fast and we finally have a great solid basement wall. I'd recommend Hart in an instant to anyone who needs waterproofing and foundation repair.

We had multiple companies out to quote the repair (big name companies that you see advertising everywhere). They all wanted to put band-aids on the problem, Hart Masonry was the only company that wanted to get to the heart of the issue and fix the entire basement so the foundation would be good for life. Most of the digging was done entirely by hand and the repair took 3 days less than originally expected which was a nice surprise.They were polite, efficient, willing to work around our schedule, and cleaned up after the work was completed. I would not hesitate to recommend Hart Masonry and Waterproofing to anyone that has basement structural or water issues.

I hired this contractor to replace my mother's driveway after a previous contractor had done such…read morepoor work that the driveway needed to be completely redone. During the estimate, he pointed out numerous problems with the original installation and assured us that he would take good care of my mother and provide a quality driveway that would last. Unfortunately, less than two years later - close to a year - the surface of the new driveway is already showing widespread scaling/spalling throughout multiple sections. The attached photos show the condition of the concrete. When I contacted him about the issue, his response was simply that it was caused by a "bad batch of concrete." Ironically, that was the exact same explanation given by the contractor whose driveway he had criticized. No inspection was offered, no recommendations were provided, and no effort was made to help resolve the problem. I understand that issues can arise in construction projects. What disappointed me most was the lack of concern and the absence of any attempt to stand behind the work. After paying twice to have my mother's driveway done correctly, I expected a better outcome and a more professional response.

If I'd of realized the permit was for my protection and HIS acccountabity, would have done it in a heartbeat! Money was never an issue for me. 2) He claims to create "an illusion of a straight line" instead of plumblining his work! I know I didn't sign a contract for an "illusion" otherwise I would've hired a magician! He calls his poor work "Within Industrial Standards." Manfred Masonry installed steps and a metal railing at our side door 11/2/201 for $600. By February…read morethe railing was covered in rust spots. After seeing the railing on 3/20/2022 Manfred told us his guy should have put a coating on it after he had made cuts to it during the install last Fall. Manfred will not replace the railing or even remove the rust on it. He'll paint over it - end of conversation (because he turned his back and walked to his sports car and drove away). The work Manfred Masonry did for us resulted in a destroyed front shrub and now a rusted up new railing that we paid $600 for. If you want expensive misery, he's your guy!
