I come here all the time but today I went and while I was waiting for the car one of the gentleman came in asking for the owner of my make, model and color. I claimed it and he confirmed it was mine. He then handed me a $100 bill found under the seat. I had been looking for it and assumed I had lost it. I'm grateful for the honesty of the one who found it and gave it to their manager! I visited Sparkling Image Car Wash location in Plantation, FL to have the exterior and interior of my black Hyundai Sonata cleaned/vacuumed. When visiting a car wash, I typically inspect my vehicle after it is cleaned and vacuumed. Upon doing so, I noticed that the cleaning machine had torn off the trim on the passenger-side front (see picture attached). I asked to speak with the location manager, Diego, but he denied that the machine tore the trim off the vehicle. Only after I stated I had proof that the trim was on the car before the cleaning did he agree to review the security camera video footage. After making me wait about 30 minutes while he reviewed the video in a private office, he came out and stated that the video did indeed show the machine ripping the trim off the vehicle. He told me to obtain an estimate to replace the trim and bring it to him so Sparkling Image Car Wash can cover the cost of the damage. I received the estimate (around $140, including labor) from a Hyundai dealer. When I returned with it later, he stated they would not pay for the damaged trim and provided no reason for the non-payment. I filed a complaint with their main office in Fort Lauderdale and received a voicemail from Joshua Key, the South Florida Regional Manager. I returned his call 3 times but did not receive a response. It is apparent to me that, although the Sparkling Image Car Wash location manager verbally agreed to pay for the damage, they never intended to do so. I paid out of pocket for the replacement trim and have since sold the vehicle. Not only has the cost for a car wash/cleaning increased dramatically due to the change in ownership, but they will not honor prepaid car washes paid to the prior owner. Based on the fact that they never paid for the replacement trim, they won't let customers use prepaid car wash coupons from the prior owner, and their pricing is now ridiculously high, I will NEVER RETURN AND RECOMMEND THAT YOU DON'T have your vehicle cleaned at any Sparkling Image Car Wash location! I repeat, DO NOT USE Sparkling Image Car Wash!! read more

When I came back within that timeframe due to visible dirt still on my front bumper, I was told by another staff member that I had been incorrectly informed and that no such guarantee applied to the wash I purchased. The manager I spoke to was dismissive and simply offered for me to pay again--no concern, no accountability, and no interest in retaining a loyal customer. Well I came to the car wash before my road trip June 22. The guy sold me an unlimited wash package as I told him I'd be coming back after my trip. The unlimited wash package he stated I could come every day if I wanted to. When I paid for my wash $34.99 I asked the cashier if I needed anything for the next time I come for the free wash she said just keep the receipt. So I put it in my glovebox. Today July 15 I finally made it for another wash. I said here is my receipt I pad for the unlimited wash. He then says to me this receipt is for a one time car wash only. However based on my conversation with the gentleman when I first came in for the unlimited package he did not misunderstand me. Instead of simply telling me to hang onto my receipt if she didn't understand my question maybe she should have asked what I was referring to since she rang me up obviously knowing she was ringing me up for a single car wash. When I picked up the car, the carpet cup holders, door handles, etc., were still not vacuumed well. I asked the manager to see the condition of the car. Constant pain to deal with them. The front side they don't care about really vacuuming your car correct not cleaning your Windows. Only when I get Diego involved they work. Not impressed. My husband and I went here to get our cars cleaned. It's close to where we live, and we always see it super busy. I highly suggest trying just them out before you go investing in the monthly deal for unlimited car washes. We had a package that was for the inside and outside of our cars. I don't remember all the bullets, but neither one of our cars were completely wiped down inside, there were areas missed with the vacuum, our rims.... disgusting! Only the exterior part was wiped down with tons of dirt still showing on the inside. Our cars also had tons is missed spots from sap or bugs and none of it was cleaned away. This was my first time coming here and I think it was an ok place to get your car washed. I went on a Sunday afternoon which I expected to be calm but I was wrong..it seem like they are always busy. I can definitely say they are quick! I got there at 12:22pm and left there with a full service car wash at 12:47pm. That has never happened to me before! I noticed it when I got home that there was still a lot of coffee grounds left. Also detailing the car means also cleaning the side mirrors and front of the car too but there are still bugs stains on both side view mirrors and the front. I love this car wash! I've tried a few Sparkling Image car washes and this location by far is my favorite. They do a thorough job of vacuuming the trunk and prepping the car through the car wash. Then they dry it by hand and spray the scent of your choice in the car. They also do a great job detailing as my car got marked up from a gate and they were able to buff out the marks and make it look as good as new. If you're not happy with the job, they will work on the car until you are. They have a rain guarantee that if it rains within 7 days of getting your car washed, they will do it again for free. Who doesn't love a clean car? Well this is the place to go! My husband bought me a book of car wash coupons for Christmas, so I went on a Sunday to check it out. There was a double lane of cars, (about 10 in each lane,) waiting to get washed. It took almost 30 minutes to actually get my vehicle up to the hand vacuum section where you can leave your car. (That was my biggest complaint, but I can't really fault a business for being popular/busy.) Once you get out of your car there is a cashier inside to pay for your service & they also have snacks like soda, water & ice cream novelties for sale. There are also small "trinkets" to buy and they have a whole wall of greeting cards and a section of car accessories that can be purchased. You can watch for your car getting washed through the large windows inside, or you can have a seat in the comfortable chairs and watch whatever they are showing in the lounge. (Usually sports) Once the car is finished in the tunnel, the detailers wipe off the door insides, dashboard, and other indoor surfaces. They also towel dry the exterior. From start to finish it took 50 minutes from when I entered the queue till when my car was finished. My car definitely looked 100x better; but the detailers did miss a few spots on the passenger side. (It was starting to get dark, and I didn't inspect the car as diligently as I should have.) All in all it's a good place to get a car wash....even if it takes longer than planned you can relax and read or watch t.v. or peruse the gift card section. read more

Scam!!! I went fir ONE wash. I was told if I paid for one month car club, it was cheaper than one wash and I could come as often as three times a day for one month. So of course I did it for ONE month. The next month there was a $69 charge on my bank account that I did not approve. After I challenged it and reported it to my bank as a comprising charge, my bank canceled my card and now I have to wait for a new card. This place is a scam because they never told me it was a recurring charge and I would have to pay each month or cancel! My 2012 Hyundai has been through the pandemic and sitting under trees for far too long. It was time to trade up at nearly 100K on the odometer, and I wanted the old girl to look her best. I'll be honest; I had never believed that detailing was worth it. It took a long time, but Sparkling Image Car Wash converted me. They took my car and made it look nearly new. They buffed and waxed and washed and vacuumed until I barely recognized it. This was the best money I have spent in a long time, and for the investment of a few hours, I'm convinced it improved the trade-in value and erased my underlying guilt for not taking care of a good car. I wish I had learned this lesson long ago. I had an unrealistic expectation of the price in the opposite direction of affordable. Their services are affordable. Notice, I didn't say cheap. Cheap implies low quality, and this was certainly not low quality. The employees were great, and more importantly, they were proud of their work. 2/9/2019- This is my go to car wash. I guess it has new ownership but, the same employees which is nice. The guy at the drive thru where you order what kind of car wash you want is always nice and polite. The girl behind the counter taking checking you out is very nice. My car took a little longer to go through the car wash but I guess they were cleaning it really good before putting it through. Once it came out, they washed and dried the inside/outside. It was a drizzling a little bit. When I came outside to get my car, the drizzling had stopped and the guys told me that they would dry it for me again. Great customer service.
