I went to Sparkling Image Car Wash for a full detail and ended up leaving with damage to my car ! A piece was literally ripped out of my brand NEW tire during the wash. When I went back to speak with the manager, they admitted fault, but then tried to offer me a half-hearted reimbursement, saying they'd only cover half the cost of a new tire if I brought them a printed receipt. That's absolutely unacceptable. I shouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket for damages they caused. This isn't how a professional business handles mistakes. Instead of taking full responsibility, they tried to make it my problem. I paid for a detail, not for damage and hassle. Either threw out, or stole multiple items out of my car. Would not recommend unless you want your compartments gone through and to be rushed out of your car & yelled at in another language. This is my second visit here. My first was not a good experience. I had to had my car cleaned again. I am trying it again because the other locations are good. I was hoping i maybe came on a bad day. I did not have to wait. My car was taken in pretty fast. I think I waited less then 10 minutes. As I was sitting in the waiting room. I got to listen to a customer argue. It was funny because she had the same complaint I had before. They gave her the same solution I got. The waiting area is nice and air-conditioned. You can pick up airfreshners and drinks there. It is the area that you pay. They did a good job washing my car. I was not to happy with the interior. I asked when getting this package about the pressure air. They said it came with it. I didn't see it in the results. I would say the place is good for a car wash but a decent inside job not. They need to work at it. Came here to get my car washed because somebody told me that this place is pretty good. It's down the street from my job so it's super convenient after work when I got my car washed, the vacuum inside and out, wiped down, cleaned it up put it through the car, wash machine and then clean a little of the Rims. I didn't notice that the rooms were still a little bit dirty so I mentioned it and they cleaned it up immediately. they told me that I can come back in five days to get it re-washed and that's exactly what I did but the rewash was just going through the machine but I thought that was pretty neat deal read more

I've been here many times. Mostly good experiences. Fridays wash wasn't too bad. But, $39 for a simple interior/exterior wash/vacuum is crazy! Specially when I got home & walked around the car and had to get a cloth to wipe off a dozen or more little spots that came off with a simple wiping! For basically $40 I shouldn't have to do that when I get home! I have an unlimited car wash subscription here and just got my 23' Kia hybrid serviced here for an oil change. The car wash first; can get pretty busy but if you go during off hours it can be quicker. They can only have one car go through at a time so on a Saturday morning when it opened at 8, there was probably already 5 cars being vacuumed and washed! The feeling of having a clean car interior and exterior is great. But note you'll be waiting a little so bring a book or play on your phone. Small waiting room inside but mostly outdoor waiting. Oil change, Terron who I believe is the manager set me up with the oil change. I have to admit I often feel taken advantage of as a female with automotive servicing but he really helped me out. I did do the pre-paid plan where for $250 ish I got 4 synthetic blend oils changes. I used one this visit and I can use the others at any sparkling image shop and on any car I want, no expiration! I received the Exterior wash with wax, vacuuming, windows, and interior completely wiped down ( I had spilled a coffee in the center console). They only survive because there is not much else Around. From the person who initially meets you to the counter staff to the cleaners, they are all apathetic. They vacuum in the dark, so no wonder they do a poor job. They do as little as they they can to get your money and get you out. I've been there many of times and always have to go behind them. The primary concern I raised was damage to my vehicle, specifically a scratch on the interior door handle and another scratch with a ding on the exterior passenger door. After noticing these issues, I reached out to the corporate office and entered into a dialogue with Joshua Kay, the regional manager. Mr. Kay asserted that sparkling image wasn't responsible for the damage, citing CCTV photos as evidence. Upon reviewing these images, I noted a discrepancy: the timestamp indicated they were taken more than 30 minutes after I had handed over my vehicle, which contradicts my receipt timestamp. When I highlighted this to Mr. Kay, he invited me to meet at the Lighthouse Point location to discuss the matter in person. Due to my demanding work schedule, I requested to reschedule. Unfortunately, I have not received a follow-up response. I am disheartened by this experience, not only because of the damage to my vehicle but also due to the handling of my complaint. The lack of resolution and communication following our last interaction has been disappointing. _______________________________ The original review: Honestly, the level of disrespect, disappointment, and anger I feel right now is unmatched. Even just by writing this review, it makes my blood boil, especially since I've been using this establishment for at least 7 years now and haven't had a problem until November 18th, 2023, Saturday. I took my 2019 Hyundai Elantra to get an oil change, and upon retrieval of my vehicle, I noticed that the door handle on the inside was scratched up, and there was also a ding and scratch on the passenger door. So, I immediately parked my car and let the staff know, which resulted in one worker calling the next worker, and finally, the location manager, Tim Maxwell, came out. As I showed Mr. Maxwell the damage to the door handle and passenger door, he immediately said, "That's wear and tear, and there's nothing we can do about that. And there's no way the car wash machine could cause damage to the vehicle." I tried to explain to Mr. Maxwell that the door handle or door was not damaged when I brought the car in, to which he replied with a series of condescending "ok's." This resulted in him walking away, and another employee by the name of Gustavo came out and kept telling me that they were not responsible for the damage and that I couldn't prove they caused it. This made me feel like I'm crazy for being angry that my vehicle was damaged and basically calling me a liar. At this point, I'm fuming, and I admit I lost my temper and began yelling (which I have no problem admitting because as a man, I can take responsibility for my wrongdoings). Eventually, I calmed down because I genuinely believed Gustavo was just doing his job and felt bad for raising my voice. We then agreed to file an incident report. In the midst of my anger, I foolishly signed the incident report without looking it over, which is 100% my fault, and I should know better than to sign anything without proper review. On the incident report, there was a box checked off stating "WD is NOT responsible." You guys definitely got me with that one. Touché, sir. In conclusion, my car was damaged, and I was tricked into taking the responsibility off of Tim Maxwell and Gustavo. Congratulations on handling this situation by using cunning tactics rather than any sort of respectable customer service. read more

My first time there . Make sure you ask many questions regarding their cleaning packages I almost was being charged for $120 package for detailing. I asked him what else he had. Then gave me the $60 detail which included vacuum, car wash, buff wax , wipe interior , and tires. I was able to watch the cleaner do my car and was blessed . I've been going here for years and noticed damage here and there but nothing major or able to prove. Truth be told I am just to lazy to wash my own car and do not care because its a lease. My experience on Christmas Eve however I was in the car while they broke the windshield from backside of scrub brush with extremely hard and heavy composite plastic. They try to say it was like that when I came even though cameras did not show a 1ft crack (and refused a copy or me to record on my phone when I disagreed) and was not noticed by check in guy who saw the drivers side when I received my ticket for payment. All they mentioned is just go through your own insurance , its free. Editing review to one star- Very disappointed with my car wash today. I use to go to the Sparkling Image, formerly Cactus Car Wash, in Fort Lauderdale all the time. I was never disappointed like I was today. I selected the Full Service # 2 wash which includes interior and exterior cleaning (tire shine, wheel cleaner, lava wash, underbody wash, windows washed, fragrance, interior vacuumed and dusted, and wash and towel dry). Essentially I only got a base exterior wash and my floors vacuumed. Nothing was dusted, there was no lava wash (I sat and watched my SUV go through), and the tires are shiny, but the wheels could've been cleaned much better. There are also water spots still and the side mirrors don't look like they were touched. My trunk wasn't touched at all. There is still sand and dog hair everywhere. My car is barely cleaner now than when I first got there. I expected a lot more for what I paid for. Don't waste your time with this car wash. read more

When they ran the car through the wash, they broke the rear spoiler and wrote an incident report acknowledging they caused the damage just so their corporate office can deny any responsibility without even looking at the facts, and get this - the reason for denying the claim - CAR WAS TO OLD and they won't pay for the damages!!! I've been coming to this Car Wash since 2015 and they always treat me like Loyalty or VIP. They always give the extra mile to make sure I always leave with a smile and of course with an Impeccable car as well. From the beginning Lester at the entrance he have been there for a while always smiling and with a good attitude, Cecilia making sure my plastic carpets are clean to perfecion with a big smile as well, I can't forget Omar leaving my rims spotless and last but not least the Manager Franz always on point making sure everything is cleaned to perfection.
