Sanity Divas Cleaning Services

Coming back later, after new paint and new flooring, where all there was to clean was windows (for additional $60), kitchen cabinets, and the bathroom I'm not happy. The good: The bathroom looks great. Better than expected. Windows: Acceptable, Obviously a lot of cleaning was done on the frames, but I'll bring back a hand vac for the stuff that was pushed into the corners of the tracks, instead of cleaned out... similar to the kitchen drawers... Kitchen: waste of $$. Counter tops and sink were cleaned previously and were still fine; just needed to be wiped off. Insides of oven (which was rarely, if ever, used) and fridge were fine. Cleaning the fridge did require some work (though that work might have been done on the first visit) Cabinets and drawers were a waste of money. Having seen what they were like before, the team obviously at least wiped them all out with a dry rag, but I think that's all. Drawers: one sample pic posted. Sticky area, which easily wiped clean with a wet paper towel, doesn't show well in the photo. The corners are full of loose debris instead of cleaned out. Cabinets: similar to drawers, with debri and stickiness. One especially egregious oversight. The bottom pantry cabinet was perhaps vacuumed out, but thats about it. See pic. I would call them back to finish cleaning, except for how the job ended. 1. Nobody notified me when they were done; they just sent a bill to pay. My brother paid before I inspected. 2. When I got to the property 3 days later, the front door was unlocked 3. The back door was open.... 4. The plug-in CO2 detector in the dining area was gone. I had put a lock box on the door and I had previoiusly given one of the owners at Sanity Divas the combo. The lock box combo was only off by one digit, suggesting that they (or somebody else) used it. Even so, the bottom lock and the back door didn't need a key to lock them, and they were not locked. If someone had come in and stolen things, they would have walked right past my tool box and ignored it to steal a $60 CO2 detector... not likely. I suspect the CO2 detector was damaged and removed to hide the damage: entire socket/box was moved/pulled out slightly on one side; brand new wall plate was now damaged. Since the doors were open, I cannot say for certain someone on the team did this, but why would anyone else break in there, not steal my tools, and violently rip (by my imagination) the CO2 detector from the wall? I don't care how good your cleaning is if you don't take care of my property or you try to hide your accidents. If my out-of-state brother had not paid so quickly, I wouldn't have paid until they came back and finished the job... brought me a comparable CO2/gas detector.

Monica quickly identified key problem…read moreareas and triaged our home organization to create systems that are not only highly efficient and logical but also aligned perfectly with our ideas and wishes. She has an uncanny ability to anticipate what people want--even when they can't articulate it--and always finds creative, customized solutions. Her customer service is next-level. She also gave us on-the-spot lessons in design theory, which I genuinely appreciated and can now apply moving forward. As we cleared out what had to be 20+ bags of clutter, she offered to take care of both trash and donations, and had a hauling service at our house within the hour. I literally told her, "You're making all my problems go away." If you're looking for someone who combines logistics, empathy, design, and wizard-level efficiency--Monica's your person.

She is prompt, communicative, friendly, and very professional. Not only did Monica help get rid of years of clutter, but she also had very good ideas for how to re-organize our furniture to maximize our space. Moreover, Monica wanted to assure that my children would take away lessons for how to keep the house clean and organized. I was extremely impressed and very grateful for her help. I would highly recommend Monica to anyone, no matter how difficult the situation might be.

There was over 30 years of junk, treasures and keepsakes piled over 9 feet in the air. I honestly couldn't remember a time when I could walk thru the garage. Within 2 or 3 sessions (each 4-5 hours long) it was clean. Totally clean. My kids even went in there and played ball. She was so amazing and kind that my mother (who doesn't like ANYONE) asked me to have her come back and help us with her room. It was EXACTLY like the garage, if not worse. It took us 2 sessions and it is now 90% clean. My husband was shocked that my mom had hard wood floors, he always thought it was carpet because he hadn't ever seen the floor. Even my little sister said she had never seen the floor before. Glenda is kind, non judgmental and amazing at what she does. She is incredibly easy to talk to and I found myself jabbering to her throughout our experiences. If she can help us, she can do anything!

Now we can go into the garage and have everything we need in its proper place, easily visible and logically arranged. Thanks Glenda!

So I'll be the first to admit, I have some issues with keeping things organized. My family and…read moreco-workers express this in various verbal ways but mostly non-verbal cues such as incredulous facial expressions. Let's just say I have some attention deficit issues that cause me to set things in various places without any rhyme or reason because I'm always looking ahead. This was exacerbated by two epic moves that required trucks loaded full of junk, some of which had to be stored in my office. Originally, that was supposed to be temporary, but with the pandemic, it became years of boxes gathering dust in forgotten corners. So with a great deal of contrition, I began searching for a professional organizer who could make sense of my chaotic work environment. Having worked previously with another organizer, I found that the ability to lift and move things was a skillset that not all organizers could handle on their own. They were able to organize without actually doing much of the actual organization due to a lack of physical strength. So with those needs in mind, I came across Bonnie aka the Organization Genie. Bonnie is like a bundle of firecrackers. She is very friendly and enthusiastic about organizing. At the beginning, we did a walk through of the office, set our objectives for each day, and then off she went. Every couple hours or so, I'd check in with her. What once felt like an unsolvable puzzle was miraculously untangled and sorted out. Bonnie's magic spread across the office and warehouse over the next few days. The amount of our commercial and demo products as well as random equipment in the warehouse required a bit more labor, so she brought in a helper that day. Bonnie requested that we purchase some shelves, which I went out and bought. They put the shelves to good use, taking a lot of things off the ground and utilizing the elevation of the warehouse. Bonnie made time for me on short notice, which I really appreciated. We had a lot of co-workers and management visiting from our overseas headquarters, so the timing of the organization was crucial to creating a favorable impression on them. With Bonnie's help, their visit to our office was a good overall experience for everyone involved. Since then, I've also hired Bonnie to help out with my parent's house, where she was equally helpful. If you are organizationally-challenged like me, Bonnie can probably save you too.

She is a high energy, outgoing person who truly has a personal mission to help others and see them change. With her help I certainly have experienced this. She has brought me new a new life full of new possibilities. She consistently shows up for work on time and smiling, ready to go! She uses every minute of her time and when she leaves she not only picks up after herself, she picks up the rest of the room so that you are left feeling spacious and peaceful. She has sensible, practical ideas for room design and will counsel you to use what you have and not to buy expensive replacements unless you choose to do so. She knows how to condense your space using every inch of it while making everything easily visible and accessible, and easy to put back in place so you can keep your space looking neat all the time. It is a joy for me now to be able to put things away! She has opened up my small living room that also serves as my art studio, and I so enjoy looking at my "vast open spaces"! I now have room for a convertible sofa in the living room so my daughter can stay overnight with me when she visits, instead of staying at a nearby hotel. My relationship with my children has changed for the better because of this and the whole family is happier. Maribel has cleaned out my 10 x 10 storeroom in two afternoons, made my fronthall closet into a pantry, decorated my front hall, revised my kitchen and done major work on my living room/art studio. She is not afraid to tackle any problem, and can handle heavy lifting and carpentry. She will start a difficult project at the end of the day, just walks right into it and uses all her time. She is always aware that you are the boss. She will meet you on your wavelength and never force you to do anything you do not want to do. She is a holistic, healthy, cheerful person and working to change your space and your life is actually her happy place!!
