I broke my shoulder mountain biking and have needed ongoing treatment for mobility and pain issues…read more I want to come back 100% and not be limited by joint dysfunction. I love to ski, bike, swim, run, paddle, lift weights, do yoga etc and I'm not willing to give anything up!! Enter Dr. Greg. He's an athlete and he totally gets it! He works as hard as I do to make sure I get results & feel better. He is personable, professional, and totally focuses on me during my treatment. I've had other PT before but didn't feel like it helped much. I hadn't experienced dry needling, manipulation, or the Graston tool until working with Greg. These techniques have now helped not only my shoulder, but my IT band pain and some other nagging issues as well! This is definitely a step up from the traditional physical therapy I've had in the past!

Somebody pointed out that they don't make enough effort for new patients to see primary care…read moredoctor. As I have just moved to the area, I have been trying to set up an appointment with primary care doctors over last 8 months (I actually want to visit a specialist that with my insurance I should be able to book without first visiting primary care doctor, but in this particular hospital they want you to have it). For a long time, they were saying they will have new opening over summer. Last time I called, the lady said she will check if there is primary care doctor available, came back 10 minutes later, and started to inquiry about all my symptoms in detail, check my history in their system (I was once in ER) and what I want to see a doctor for (fresh results indicating pancreatitis). Then she has put me on hold for another 10 minutes, and came back to tell me that unfortunately there is no primary care doctor available in the area, and she can put me on the wait list. Given that, I have an impression that this hospital has some type of DISCRIMINATING policy/strategy that SHOULD NOT BE LEGAL.

A present for the dermatology department…read more Tag: Kids practicing medicine Pros: Got an appointment super fast, clean facility, good parking Cons: Holy crap where do I start 1. They gave me a resident. Ok I understand this person is learning but this person seemed to be more concerned with getting me out of there and heading on his vacation to Europe. Kid word of advice, "If you can't keep your mind on your job when you are 27 years old because you need a vacation perhaps this is not the right job for you." Very quick patient assessment, he missed parts of my body on his scan on my skin, was too concerned about documenting his findings, fought with me about the prescription the last experienced dermatologist gave me the last time, filled it, gave me the wrong prescription, gave me no instructions, forgot to have me pay for the skin tag removals and walked out of the room 2. I went to the front desk because I knew I had to pay for the cosmetic stuff, but they said, 'No you are OK" 3. 3. The billing department called me obsessively the following Monday (I had the work done on Friday) twice a day everyday till I called them back. They called me on my cell during work while I was at a client. Sorry kids not dealing with you. Word of advice to billing, "When you F up and don't collect send the patient a bill first. If they don't pay send them to collections then have collections bug the crap out of them. However, don't try to cover you own behind by unprofessionally calling literally one hour after the fact (I left at 4 PM on Friday, they started harassing me at 9 am on Monday)" Word of advice: Have the attending come in after the fact and check everything. Dartmouth you did a crappy job I would recommend avoiding the residents.

This was my second experience with Encompass of Concord, NH. Both for foot surgery recovery. I was…read morein pretty tough shape upon my arrival both times. Where they are located right on the Concord Hospital Campus, this was helpful. I was in no shape for a long ride ANYWHERE. They had me settled and medicated for my pain in no time. I'll just say this, the staff to patient ratio is amazing. Their quality, the same. I will never go anywhere else. Like folks say, if it works, don't fix it. Quick note on the food there. I'm a diabetic. I'm 6' 8" tall, over 300 lbs., and 67 years old. Because of my poor health (no surprise) I've had to give up smoking, drinking, etc... What's left...? Food, dining, cooking, etc... Yes, I'm pretty obsessed with my mealtimes. After a couple of "miscommunications" at the start, this team of food pros really came through for me. Once they figured me out and what I was HOPING for, they delivered. That's a first for me. We went high on the proteins and veggies. I couldn't have been happier. I didn't want to go back home. They never treated me anything like a, "oh no, it's YOU again!" Folks, if you can be a pest from time to time, their splendid treatment of me is RARE. Bottom Line! I'm not easy to take care of. They made it look easy because of their COMPETENCE! An important word these days. Some have no idea what it even means. Well these folks do and I couldn't have been happier there.
