I had reservations about the effectiveness of Acupuncture before my visit with Zenkai, but now I know it really works, as both my husband and I have used Hadley's services for several different issues. In particular, her work on me during my pregnancy was invaluable. I had severe back pain and sciatica late in my pregnancy, and my weekly visits really helped control my pain. The most important appointments I had, however, were the few days I went to Hadley while trying to induce my labor. I was late, and my OB's were threatening to induce my labor with a cervical ripener and pitocin, which I was hoping to avoid. I was anxious and "HUGELY" uncomfortable, and Hadley was extremely gentle and receptive to my needs and concerns. I had 4 treatments in a row (over 4 days), and on the night of that last day, into labor I went- without meds! I was so grateful for Hadley's work!!! Hadley is an incredibly thorough practitioner (she even consulted a book in her office that she had specifically about acupuncture for pregnancy!), and she is obviously committed to and fascinated by her field. I was a skeptic but a long time neck and shoulder pain sufferer following an accident. Cortisone, chiropractic and massage therapy masked symptoms but nothing kept the pain away for long. I tried acupuncture when an equally skeptic friend was amazed at his results. It has significantly reduced my migraines, and increased my energy.
