The location is perfect with so many activities and things to do nearby. Not to mention the hotel has a very nice restaurant and a cool food court attached. Plus the area has many good restaurants within a mile. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is a bit on the pricey side, but exceeded my expectations. I truly enjoyed myself on my staycation. The customer service from the staff was top notch. The bartender to the front desk and valet were all amazing. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Upon checking in they greet you with a welcome glass of wine. This was a nice surprise and unexpected. My room was clean and cozy. The decor inside my room was vintage and modern. Bonus was the thick robe hanging up for me. There is a mini bar, safe, refrigerator and coffee maker. The bed was soft and comfortable. The ambiance of the room and all hotel areas were beautifully designed. The lobby with the fireplace was filled with lovely furniture. I had a happy and peaceful visit. I would definitely stay here again. Book the room! My only negative is...Parking is $$$ You are already paying a premium amount for the rooms and experience so this should be cheaper for guests.

Upon entering the lobby, I was met with a weird smell that carried throughout the room. When I checked in the front desk guy was on his personal phone with someone (no big deal, I just wanted to sleep for a few). After asking for by ID, he asked for my credit card info, I politely said no. I knew it was covered by my company. He asked again & I insisted it wasn't needed. Then he finally gave me my room key. The room was large, spacious, & overall clean. The bathroom was also very spacious, but I felt the floor was dirty and sticky. Overall, I'm giving it 3.5 stars (rounding up to 4). While it wasn't terrible by any means, I'd just prefer to stay elsewhere.

It does not really stand out to me and verged a bit on disappointing, though this might have been because I was tired from traveling. The room itself must not be one of them that they picture, maybe some renovated/some not? Mine didn't feel renovated at all, instead a bit tired and run down. The shower (which had awful water pressure, barely trickles) had an ugly yellowish color scheme for its tiles. The bed is weirdly high up and medium-firm but comfortable enough. I have become spoiled by hotels that feature Netflix, YouTube, and/or other apps/services in addition to live TV. This TV was a regular TV and nothing more, which is not a huge problem itself. Even so, it was a bit jarring to see, especially since its "TV guide" channel looked straight out of the early 90s. The free shuttle is great. It makes stops anywhere people want, which is understandable, and the airport is huge, so build in some extra time. We had a bit of a scare because the driver was said to be a bit late, but we then got an update a few minutes later that the driver would be on time, and he was! Phew.

I…read morewaited about 15 min in the main line, but I forgot I have elite status through Marriott, so my wait could have been shorter. Carlos was friendly and upgraded our room after discussing we were staying there for our anniversary. Very unexpected and very kind. Our room was on the 8th floor overlooking the atrium. The room was huge, with a living room, separate bedroom, and a gigantic closet. There were a lot of noises in the room (popping and drill noises). We were close to the elevator, so not sure if it was that. Part of the hotel is currently in the renovation process, so it could have been that too. The drill noises stopped, but the popping noises didn't really seem to go away overnight. There was also a bright green light (smoke detector?) that flashed every 12 seconds or so. The rugs in the room were coming up at the edges so you had to be careful where you were walking. We had several near misses and one fall. The main issues we had were with dining. We started at the outdoor pool and ordered a few drinks. My parents arrived after us and ordered some drinks as well. Since we had the same last name, the bartender didn't ask for their room, they just went off of the last name and put everything on mine. A manager came by and got it situated fairly quick. We wanted to try the riverwalk cantina for dinner Saturday night. They didn't take reservations so we showed up around 5. They were buffet only, even though the menu scanned from the QR code in our room and on the Gaylord app showed a full menu. While we enjoy Mexican food, paying $110 for 3 buffets seemed too much, so we went to the Texan Station. The amount of time we spent waiting for the bills to be corrected really put a damper on what should have been an stress-free anniversary celebration "staycation". It definitely doesn't make us want to come back for a staycation anytime soon.

My oh my this place is something else…read more.. My husband had a work conference here at the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center so we packed our bags and my toddler and I came too. I was looking into pictures of this place and was so confused as to what was the resort and what wasn't. There's no way all these pictures that look like different places can be all in one place... well my friends... it is. As we pulled up, I realized just how big this place is and I got really excited to go inside and finally figure out what's what. This place is gorgeous. Part of it looks like a lodge, part of it looks like a mall, part of it looks like a convention center... because it is, part of it looks like a hotel, part of it looks like the riverwalk, etc... and yet it all blends together seamlessly. There are 4 main restaurants, at least 2 bars, two coffee shops, one is also a marketplace, shops that sells clothes, a kids store, an arcade, a spa, a gym, a FedEx business center, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, another restaurant down the street that is also part of the resort, a water park down the street that is part of the resort... I'm FOR SURE forgetting something... or multiple somethings. There's no way to do it all in a week while also attending a conference. So we didn't hit up everything. It's okay though, my toddler mostly wanted to just walk around. Nonstop. There's plenty to see by doing that. There's a scavenger hunt that you can do, a virtual animal safari, model trains that we stopped to watch multiple times, a mini Build-A-Bear Workshop right in the middle of things... I'm telling you, this place has it all. We arrived on a Monday, left on a Friday, and didn't have enough time to do and see everything. We ate at 3 of the 4 main restaurants. We tried to eat at the Riverwalk Cantina - and I was admittedly most excited about that one. However, the first two nights they were having a buffet. We wanted to order from the menu. We said we'd come back. The third night my husband had a business meeting at the steakhouse so that was a no go. The fourth night we went down there to eat... they were closed. Getting ready for a private event. *sad face* We left the next day and never got the chance to try it out. Things are a bit pricey, but you pay a convenience fee, and the fact that they literally had everything we needed in one place without leaving the resort was just that... convenient. So I wasn't complaining, especially with a two-year-old in tow. Even the option to have food delivered to your room was great since I could order breakfast to be delivered before my kiddo woke up for the day. The room was nice. It was pretty modern and spacious. We were on the first floor so it was also convenient. We didn't have a fancy view. It was a side parking lot, but the fact that it was part of a block of rooms reserved for the conference meant that we weren't expecting a room with a view or anything. I slept comfortably, but brought my own pillow which I believe was a big part of my comfort. My husband said the typical hotel bed was too hard. It wasn't as enjoyable of a sleeping situation for him. I could've stayed longer and been just fine lol. Anyways, I know this review is very long and I'll cut it off here, but I will say that there are so many more things I could say, but you just have to experience this place for yourself. I will review the restaurants we tried separately. Texan Station Sports Bar & Grill Zeppole Old Hickory Steakhouse

Room. Spacious and clean, I had read some reviews that concerned me, but I had no issues with anything. Enjoyed having a fridge, stove and cookware/cutlery. The curtains could be moved to completely block out light. Water got hot quickly and pressure was fine. I should note that one of my colleagues did have issues with his bathroom, toilet not working so this may depend on your assigned room. Breakfast. The complimentary breakfast was consistently good. Hot items mixed with a good variety of cold, such as waffles, burritos, egg sandwiches, oatmeal, and yogurt. There was even dairy-free alternatives. It was not crowded throughout the week. The lady who managed this each morning was great, always asking if I needed anything. Amenities. The exercise room was a decent size with bike and treadmills and free weights. Pool was not the warmest, but nice to cool off in during the hot summer. It's just long enough for laps. The spa with timer was nice also, jets were not very strong, and could get crowded in the weekend evening. Service and staff. Staff are not in 24-7, they leave at a specific time, but it's late so was never a problem. They do not turn down the room every day, only on certain days, but I was informed this up front so it was also never an issue. The front desk staff in the morning (early on Thursday), in particular, was fantastic, went out of his way to help me out. Overall, given its convenience to the airport and a number of other places, such as the nearby outlet mall and restaurants, and all of the points above, rooms, free breakfast, amenities, etc, it's a good hotel for any short or extended stay.

The staff at this Comfort Inn is overall friendly and helpful, but not too chatty. The room itself is acceptable, but not up to my expectations for the Comfort Inn name. While the beds and sheets are comfortable, and the room is overall clean, several furniture pieces need replacement or repair. Additionally, there are burned out light bulbs in the room which should have been noticed and replaced before checking in. The WiFi is acceptable, although the time limits on them are short and patrons need to login again every few hours. There is a nice breakfast in the morning, with hot offerings such as scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and waffles. The pool looks clean and well-maintained, but I did not get a chance to use it.
