I took an escape to DFW for the weekend and stayed at this Comfort Inn. The location is close the D/FW International Airport, and the hotel provides guests with a shuttle service. However, the shuttle only runs from 7:00am-3:00pm. The facility itself looks clean on the exterior, with well- maintained grounds and is in a good area near restaurants. The staff at this Comfort Inn is overall friendly and helpful, but not too chatty. The room itself is acceptable, but not up to my expectations for the Comfort Inn name. While the beds and sheets are comfortable, and the room is overall clean, several furniture pieces need replacement or repair. Additionally, there are burned out light bulbs in the room which should have been noticed and replaced before checking in. The WiFi is acceptable, although the time limits on them are short and patrons need to login again every few hours. There is a nice breakfast in the morning, with hot offerings such as scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and waffles. The pool looks clean and well-maintained, but I did not get a chance to use it. Overall, this Comfort Inn is okay, although its standards do not seem to be at the level of most hotels under the same name I have stayed at. While this location did not meet my expectations, it certainly did meet my needs. read more

My husband stays here every week for business... its close to the place of business not because he love it. However things have been going decently from week to week. But last week when he stayed there someone came into his room, ignoring the do not disturb sign, moved all the things in his room around and didn't put anything back. Thankfully he had taken all of his important things with him to work. It wasn't house keeping because the room wasn't cleaned. He told the front desk and they did nothing about it. This hotel is convenient to Grapevine Main Street restaurants (ate across street at Fireside Pies) but not worth the frozen 63 degree room when arriving (took 45 min to warm up). Also the maid knocking at our door waking us up at 8:30 am on Sat when checkout is at noon was infuriating. Room was clean and bed ok so 3 stars. Breakfast till 11 today so weren't rushing down. Oh and the $92 rate was deceptive with a $148 charge with unknown service fees. No parking garage here read more

DO NOT STAY HERE. I found a bag of someone else's underwear in my room. The floor obviously hadn't been vacuumed, the mirrors were covered in fingerprints (so obviously hadn't been cleaned either), and the window was just one giant smudge of handprints. The lamp shades were disgusting, and somehow the room was filled with a chokingly strong smell of disinfectant, even though everything in it was filthy. I also didn't feel safe there at all. I left and went to another hotel--didn't really feel like staying there was even a choice. Worst hotel experience of my life, even if I was only there about 20 minutes before running away. The hotel refused to refund my room, even though I had pictures as proof. So not only are they fine with their rooms being disgusting, they also don't even care about a customer's experience. Clean,modern and comfortable as most of them are. Nice big TV with lounge chair. Wasn't crazy about the shower,but it wasn't terrible either Went online and saved about $15. Nice location as there are plenty of places within walking distance. McDonald's,a Steakhouse,Convenience store etc. Not sure but it looked like the pool was open and they had a big assortment of pre packaged breakfast sandwiches with fruit and cereal. All in all it was an extremely good experience considering the Pandemic Explosion we are all trying to get through. Stay safe my friends. read more

The absolute best thing about this hotel is the young lady at the front desk. Check in was quick and easy. When we opened the door, the room was absolutely the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. There was, seriously, no place to put our luggage. I'm serious!!! My suitcase was on the desk, and Mike's was on the bathroom counter. Then the a/c rattled, you know the noise I'm talking about. I finally used a wash cloth to stuff between the cover and the unit. Then the tv didn't work. After scanning for channels about 15 minutes, I called the front desk. She would gladly move us to another room. We were completely unpacked, so I said no. Ok, let the tv scan for channels AGAIN. We finally got to watch tv, the a/c noise was acceptable, and I slept pretty good. The next morning was their version of the new COVID-19 breakfast! So depressing! We were so happy to be out of there. Now, I'm pretty sure this was a fluke. Next time we stay here it will probably be great.....maybe. I'm rating the Comfort Inn in Euless off the Airport Frwy #183 I don't see this hotel location on Yelp Booked hotel via Hotwire & thought we would get a hotel in Bedford or Colleyville. Went in with upbeat hope it would work out as we were staying 6 nights in order to help our daughter move from one home to another. The 1st experience was good in that our room was initially very clean when we arrived. The hotel claims to serve breakfast, but the 1st morning we learned that "breakfast" was a frozen pizza.There was a juice machine, but that's it. So we had to go elsewhere for breakfast each morning. We quickly learned they don't clean the rooms mid-stay. After missing maid service the 1st day we requested daily service & they told us they took note, but thereafter the room was only cleaned one other day ( even after a 2nd request) We were out of towels because of no service and we called the front desk one evening. The guy answered that he was swamped at the front desk but would try to deliver in an hour. After 75 minutes I went to sleep. In the am I called again and the same guy said he didn't have time the prior night to deliver the fresh towels. The last day in the room I found a dead cockroach on the floor of the bathroom (after 2 days of no service) and let the hotel know, but the never bothered to come clean the floors. The biggest problem is likely the GM as the hotel is being operated with far too few employees. If you are face to face with the person at the front desk they seem to be kind & accommodating people, but if you are away from the front desk and need any kind of service or help you are going to likely be blown off because they simply don't have the manpower. That is a GM mistake & customers suffer as a result. Our room was near the freeway and the noise was loud ever night. After leaving the hotel we learned they charged an extra night to our credit card without discussing it with us. I called to let them know of the mistake as we had Pre-paid all 6 nights via Hotwire and after a very long wait I was told the GM would call back to review the bill, but he never called back. So I had to dispute the billing mistake with our credit card co. Never will stay at a Comfort Inn again that is rated below 3- star read more

Outside looks nice, inside is run down. Walls/ceiling needs scrubbed, patched, and painted. Old stained carpet needs to be replaced. Showers are made for short people (I'm 5"10). Back door didn't lock and ice machine on the 3rd floor was broke. Great water pressure and the bed wasn't horrible is the only good thing I can say. read more

If it wasn't for Pamela the receptionist that works over night I would have given this place a 1!!! The hotel is ok. gym is tiny and pool is decent. However, the afternoon receptionists are rude. First I stood there waiting my turn while other receptionist just ignores me. When I finally got to the desk there was no greeting. It seemed like they were bothered to do their job. Pamela made it up for them. I checked out very early that morning. She was friendly and talkative and huge smile on her face as soon as she seen me. She offered me coffee and fruit for the road since the breakfast bar was still not open. I hope if you stay at this location you have a chance to meet her. She goes out of her way to make sure you are happy. FWI they do not start their shuttle service to the airport until 7am. read more

Nice find at the last minute as I missed my connection at DFW and had to rebook for the next morning. The check in was super easy and friendly. The rooms are pretty decent and clean! Kind of standard rooms with no special frills but everything looks newer and I really couldn't complain about it. The pillows on the bed weren't my favorite, but that could be personal preference. There is a free breakfast buffet in the morning that is surprisingly decent (eggs, muffins, bagels, coffee, waffles, cereal, etc), PLUS an airport shuttle that starts at 7am and every 30 min after. Hopefully I won't miss a flight in Dallas again but wouldn't hesitate to book again if I needed to. read more

For a low-priced hotel this place was great. The rooms are clean and spacious enough. Refrigerator and microwave. The shuttle service is free and very convenient. They took me to Simuflite all week and picked me up every time except once. (The shuttle stops at 11 PM.) They even offered to take me to restaurants although I preferred to walk. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance. Some of them are really good. There is a convenience store in the hotel lobby and another one literally across the street. Wells Fargo bank is about 1/2 block away. Free breakfast in the morning. It's what you would expect... You know, for free? But it is actually pretty good. Reasonably quiet. And the best part, it's a no smoking property! Ok, Maybe the very best part is that this place is inexpensive. For what you pay your going to get a great deal! read more

Hotel itself is a typical Comfort Inn, reasonably clean, updated, mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker. No restaurant or bar, no store. Hot cookies every evening. The front desk staff is on the ball, which is good since the housekeeping staff sucks so bad. During our five day stay, they made the beds three times (never changed the sheets), replaced the towels twice, and that's about it. Never cleaned the toilet or vacuumed. On the fourth day, we got no maid service at all. Because the cleaning staff dropped the ball, we had to call front desk to get the following: Towels Pillows Coffee Trash bags (the two cans were overflowing because they didn't empty them) Toilet paper Bedding for the fold-out We never got new soaps or shampoos The breakfast is comprehensive, watch out for the powdered eggs. They have all the typical carbs you expect in a free breakfast. The beds are awful. I never had to set an alarm because my aching back would wake me up early. The three stars this hotel gets are for being really quiet, convenient, and for the tireless front desk staff that don't complain even as they are making up for the rest of the staff. read more

If I could give a 1/4 star I would. I first went in to see what a room looked like, so the person at the front desk took me to see a room. He unlocked the door and a woman was laying in bed in her pajamas and jumped up. He said the room was empty. I decided to get a room there for the night. around 10pm I decided to go to bed and I pulled back the sheets...... there was three small blood stains in the middle of the sheet. I went to front desk, checked out, and left. Two days later, I called the GM (Peggy) and she was aware of the situation. She asked why the room was used then and why I did not check out sooner------I was there for five hours-------yes the room was going to get used during that time frame before I discovered the blood. Peggy said she would call me back, but I have yet to hear from her, and it has been 12 days. read more

Internet was slow, and breakfast was disappointing... However , I carry a portable hotspot with me for internet, and I always bring packets of oatmeal with me just in case of the breakfast situation. Other than that- I have nothing else negative to say about my stay here... The rooms were very clean, and the shuttle service was great. I would definitely stay here again. read more

This hotel, in general, was awful. There were only 2 staff member who were kind and helpful, the rest were gruff and rude. One shuttle driver repeatedly burped in transit. Shuttle left without me one morning even though they knew I was on the way. I arrive promptly at 8am and it was already gone. They claimed it was 8:01 - not according to Verizon it wasn't. The bed was AWFUL and I woke up every morning barely able to walk - I had to take pain medications just in order to go to sleep. Wifi was unreliable and rarely worked. When it did, it was slow as dirt. They reset it once for me, which helped but it wasn't consistent by any means. The one bright spot was blond Lisa - she was so sweet and helpful and kind. I hope the comfort inn treasures her and treats her well. They also had yummy fresh baked chocolate chip cookies every afternoon which was wonderful. read more

Nice place to stay for a few days or longer, as the staff (except the manager Peggy) is genuinely friendly and want to make your stay a pleasurably and memorable one. Business travelers should inquiry in advance if they will award Choice Privilege points as they may find a way to not issue them and make you out to be the bad guy just for asking! read more

Someone in corporate branding needs a demotion. DFW has 3 Comfort Inns - Comfort Inn, Comfort Inn and Suites, and Comfort Suites. Really?? People delayed by air traffic snarls, tired from a long day of airport frustration, and trying to figure out which shuttle to which location were totally confused tonight. At midnight I arrived at the wrong one, paid for a room there and happy to have a place to rest my head in spite of not being able to cancel by reservation at the other one. First of all, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I stayed here for a friend's wedding and the hotel provided shuttle service to and from the event. There is a convenience store within the hotel and one could walk to a few shops and restaurants. Breakfast was mostly continental with some hot items. My one complaint was that my room wasn't immaculately clean (e.g. dust on the nightstand and lime deposits on the shower head). For the price, it was comfortable and relatively clean. read more

Rating it within its category of a mid price hotel, I would definitely give it 5 stars. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I had eye surgery and got here a couple of hours before check in. They got me into a room fairly quickly. The airport noise is minimal, just a slight occasional rumble of a plane. Not disturbing at all. Must be well insulated, because you don't hear traffic either. I love the individual air conditioner in the rooms. I could keep my room as cold as I liked. I would definitely stay here again. read more

Stayed here last night after a night in Grapevine. It was very nice, clean, well priced and the staff was friendly.

I scheduled a trip to Grapevine, in December, and then I needed to cancel.  My Mother just passed away and I needed to cancel the trip.  Having a family member pass away is very heart breaking.  When I called to cancel my reservation, the Manager: Ms. Chavez was very condescending and demonstrated a major attitude.  She basically was interviewing me not believing that my mother passed away and it was very clear to me that she hated her job and she hated working at Comfort Inn.  I know how valuable our mothers are to us, and play a major role in our families.  But Ms. Chavez, acted so hostile, and very defensive.  All I can say is this woman showed absolutely no compassion, grace, or understanding.  Ms. Chavez is a NAZI and should not be working there as a Manager for Comfort Inn.  It's the holidays that are coming around the corner and I felt very threatened because she needed details of my mother's passing.  WOW.  Rude, and Very Unkind Woman. read more

If they had a selection for a negative zero I would have given it. Long story short I arrived at the hotel & room was $394 for 3 nights as I was there on business. Total time from checking in & back out the hotel 15 mins. By the time we hit the restaurant my credit card was locked. Total inconvenience. $807 in charges & the GM attempted to correct the problem. I was there from Tues to Thurs w/out the use of the card to shop, eat etc as I only brought one form of payment. How many days does it take for you to remove the charges? I'm appalled that even at checkout I was charged an $16/$17 balance when the young lady attempted to collect another wonderful charge of $264. Really? We were in the lobby to checkout from 6 till well after 8 still waiting for the $ to be reverse. Nope nothing so the young lady comp the room. Fast forward I get an email demanding payment & that the young lady shouldn't have comp my room for the inconvenience & how would I like to make payment after I have left an a few days pass. Wow!!! I was flabbergasted to say the least but our company use to use this hotel but never again. read more

Internet the worst I've seen since dial-up days. Total lack of leadership from upper management (ie the GM is NEVER here and described by her staff as "impossible to reach"). Had the single worst experience in 20yrs of business travel when their front desk clerk flipped out on me because I reported the internet issues more than once. They failed to replace remote control after cleaning on my last night and then failed to correct for over an hour. Had to call back and front desk had no idea I even had an issue because original guy I spoke to got off shift and never told anyone he here was an outstanding issue -- second employee solved in 2 minutes, but really? I had to call back and explain a 2nd time?! Some employees are really really nice and the shuttle service around local area rules but it is all for naught when a lack of leadership and terrible service from a small minority of employees overshadows the rest. Nice property but the service issues ruined it all.... If a franchise, they should be forced to sell to an operator who cares. If corporate location, a regional should get in here ASAP and replace leadership with more available, competent, and caring management. read more

I'd stay here again. It's what you'd expect from this chain. Clean room, several breakfast choices, friendly staff and a comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. We are staying for the entire week so if anything changes I'll update but so far seems as advertised. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to Grapevine Mills Mall, it's relative low cost compared to others in the area, and its great reviews. I'm very satisfied with the first two, but missing the great reviews. First impressions are important, and the initial greeting I got at the front desk was less than friendly. The employees did not seem interested in making sure I had a pleasant stay. Check in was smooth and quick but no smiles and minimal information. Other visits to the front desk were similar. The room was smallish but seemed clean, although the carpet appeared to have 4 burned areas. Strange for a non-smoking hotel. There were two towels in the bathroom. Which would have been enough except there were no towels at the pool, so we had to request more. Not a big deal, just not great. The room didn't have the typical book outlining the features of the hotel and listing area restaurants. The bed was very comfortable. Nice TV with lots of channel options. In a 4-floor hotel, there was one ice machine, and I wouldn't recommend using it for iced drinks. It was not an ice dispenser, just a machine that makes ice. You open the door, and scoop out the ice with...? There was no scoop. I opted out. The free breakfast was typical of free breakfasts at hotels. Good but not great. Being vegan, I had very few options, but that's no surprise. My daughter was happy with the Texas shaped waffle maker. The location is great. Close to restaurants and historic Grapevine and a short drive to Grapevine Mills Mall. Overall the value is good, but it's missing some little pluses that I consider common and would add very little expense to the hotel in the long run. An ice dispenser, extra towels in the room or at the pool, and friendly, helpful faces at the front desk would have increased my rating to at least 4 stars. No hotel is perfect, but it helps tremendously to know that the employees are doing their best to ensure a remarkable experience. I just didn't get that here. read more

Rooms were pretty clean and the hotel looks like it has been updated recently. Towels were in a strange place. There really needs to be at least a towel bar by the sink to hang hand towels, but all of the towels are located in the separate bathroom above the toilet, so you have to walk away from the sink for a towel and afterwards there is not a place to hang it. Front desk staff was friendly. Making a reservation was a breeze. This hotel is frills-free- has no bar or restaurant, but does offer free breakfast and cookies at night. The free breakfast was about what I would expect for a hotel like this- The only thing on the breakfast bar that tasted decent to me was the waffles, which you make yourself. Everything else was old, stale, or just tasted bad. Waffles were good. If you don't like waffles there is a McDonalds within walking distance, so that is a breakfast option. Location is great as there are a few restaurants and a gas station all within walking distance. Overall a nice place to lay your head for a night or two, and I would recommend and stay again. read more

Peggy and the Comfort Inn staff provide excellent customer service. We were a pain to deal with but they stepped up and met all our needs.

We stayed here last Sunday night and it was nice. The room was a 2 queen room with tv, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer and iron. All the norms you would expect. The room was a lil small for 2 beds but it was not so small you couldn't move around. We had everything we needed in the room. The breakfast was a hot/cold breakfast with yogurt, waffles, cereal, juice, coffee, bagels, doughnuts, fruit, eggs, sausage, with all the condiments you need for all of that. The dinning area was very nice and clean. The customer service didn't seem to the best as when we asked for towels for the pool they just told us to go to laundry and get them. I think they should have just had some ready at the front desk for us. We had to ask where the laundry room was of course at the front desk. Also they didn't have anyone really tending to the breakfast bar. The thing that rubbed me the wrong way the most was when they called us at 11:30pm asking if we were going to check out. Check out is at 12:00. Besides that this place was great. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, everything was updated and nice. The pool was even nice. The price was around 97$ I believe.
