Booked on Expedia and then got an email 5 minutes before check in that the hotel cancelled our reservation. What a disappointment.

Just needed a place to stay & shower. Covid precautions were implemented well…read more Breakfast was minimal due to CDC guidelines. Grab and go items: packaged muffins, water, juice, yogurt, snack bars. Coffee & Tea is via your room coffee machine. Front desk staff is courteous as well at this location. *****Parking is adequate. I do SUGGEST that if you have a hitch, towing or a larger bus/RV that you access the parking area via the Lancaster Pike/Bus30 entrance and enter through the back. The front entrance off Rte100 is VERY STEEP and you may bottom out. I noticed a few divots on the hill where hitches have dragged.

Was told it'd be refunded when I checked out.. It was not. Called twice and gm said wait until after holiday etc. I did what he asked and bam, just like I knew it, was charged 70.83. May not seem alot to many but that's a gas tank full. Its the principal of these companies who are like thieves in the night. Same thing occurs with streaming once they hqve your debit card! I deplore cagey. Holiday Inn Express was, no longer is. my favorite hotel but this one waa dingy and dated and tried ripping me off on top of it! Wont be back, evee! Do better and quit stealing and lying from and to your customers. Ps. Left 3 messages with GM and obviously didn't return my call.

This place had…read moreexcellent reviews on there, and other nearby hotels had very poor ones so I'm glad I chose this place over the place I originally booked. Room was very clean, probably the cleanest hotel bathroom I've ever seen. The set up is a little weird since the bathroom is right next to the bed, but I was traveling solo the set up was fine. The room was nice and cool when I got there. Iron and ironing board in the closet which was helpful- I feel like most hotels never have them in the room anymore and you have to ask the front desk. Caleb checked me in and was very helpful. I never needed anything. Sheets and towels were clean. The parking lot seems huge but there isn't enough parking. When I returned Saturday night of my stay, there was legitimately one parking spot left (for diamond members) and there was no handicap parking left. I was annoyed with the shower because the sliding glass doors don't stay shut and roll back and forth and then water goes everywhere. There also isn't a ton right near the hotel, but I was fine with driving to nearby places. I was either leaving too early or up too late to enjoy breakfast, so I have no comment on that. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area!

A few things you should know before going to this hotel…read more First, make sure you get a good room location. The hotel borders both Rt 30 and Rt 202, so that many of the rooms have highway noise. The rooms are using single pane sliding windows, which are old and have some gaps, so sound definitely gets through. The WEST face, however, faces the shopping center and is much quieter. Second, this hotel is pretty dated. The rooms are clean, but they show signs of wear. The windows (as i said before) need to be replaced. Third, the front desk is a single station, and the staff vanished for about 20 minutes when I went down to report my HVAC problem. The hotel staff seems thin - so no coverage - and disorganized. The cleaning crews were great. I was originally put on the 5th floor, facing north (towards 202 at an angle) and I could hear the highway clearly through the window. I had to move rooms, because my original room had an HVAC problem, and the new room on the west side was much quieter. I don't know if I could recommend this hotel again, due to it's age and location. YMMV.

Mold growth on the ceiling, stained ceiling tiles, ac filter full of dust like it hasn't been changed in years. I've been coming here since 2016. I used to call this the roach hotel. I absolutely hated coming…read morehere. I'm guessing within the last year I've noticed significant change in housekeeping quality and improved customer relations skills at this location. Notably I believe Anthia, Delilah and Iesha are worthy of very high praise. There is almost nothing these 3 won't do to satisfy the guests. These ladies seem to work around the clock and take concerns to heart. I've never seen employees try so hard to seek customer satisfaction. As of this most recent visit. This weekend. I found nothing wrong. Nothing. I looked. I hate waking up in the morning and stepping in unknown substances but there was nothing to find. I would also like to acknowledge that the management staff here knows my voice. I call and greet them and without having to say my name they know who I am. They know I like to soak and I have an Service Dog In Training. I can tell you more than once since these new people started managing They always accommodate my dog Cheyenne and I. Always. Short notice, no notice. On my way notice. Walk in the lobby notice. If you're looking for a hot breakfast place which I prefer this is not the place for you. Breakfast is a granola bar and coffee here. If you're looking for a hotel with PEOPLE that have personalities then by all means this is your spot. Whether it's one night or 10 days I promise Iesha, Anthia and Delilah will bend over backwards to see you smile and hear a simple " Job Well Done"! It's by far not a 5 star hotel. The carpet and rooms are dated. This building is in need of renovation but these ladies are doing a phenomenal job with what they are given. There is a reason they are almost always booked at max occupancy. It's the people that work here and the lengths they go to satisfy the guests as if the guests were their family. Job well done ladies! This hotel has, in my opinion, come out of the gutter. Keep up the great work!

So I just stayed here from 04/25/2026 through 04/27/2026. I read the reviews after staying and…read morechecking out. I had to click on a few "helpful" and "thanks" tabs, as I am concurring with some of their grievances. First of all, I think a few things have been fixed but not all. Let state what I've observed: First and foremost; the drug addicts/users at the side exit. Which I thought was the entrance after not realizing the main entrance was where I previously parked in front of. They were smoking weed and cigarettes. 1. The elevators were dirty and some malfunctioned. 2. When I checked in, there were a lot of staff members behind the counter, all of whom acted as if they were at the lounge, chatting and ignored customers. I had to scream to get their attention just to check in. 3. I had a room with 2 beds and yet they only put one tiny bottle of shampoo, one tiny conditioner. 2 tiny soaps. Like seriously! 4. The suspicious persons roaming the back areas of the hotel. I'd say, once again, drug addicts. I requested a very quiet floor. Yes, it was quiet... but when I was heading to my room, I noticed a lot of empty rooms, unmade beds, wide opened doors... all I would say is, more rooms for the junkies to come in and use. All they have to do is have one person stay in and close the door behind and free room to use whatever and then make the rest of the world uncomfortable. This is my first time seeing a hotel, with wide opened doors like that. Not one, or two, but about 6 rooms for sure that were opened. One of the corners had a Ring indoor camera. The older model of the one I have at home, hanging on the ceiling. I didn't know this hotel was like this bad. And I booked it via Airbnb. The way it's listed on Airbnb , it seemed like a regular home... until you book it and all... my problem was, I didn't do more reading on the listing. After I booked it, I was also too lazy to cancel it. But a day before, a week before, I tried to look for other homes on Airbnb and some only allowed 3 nights stay or unavailable. So I stuck with it. Just crap!

1/5 Stars -- Unprofessional, Disrespectful, and Unacceptable…read more Absolutely terrible experience at Exton Hotel. During a previous stay, I was given the wrong room despite paying extra for accommodations on the Exton side. When I raised concerns, I was met with dismissive and disrespectful treatment. The situation escalated when an employee repeatedly challenged me to come outside and fight him. I refused to engage. Although I acknowledge making an insulting remark out of frustration, nothing justified an employee attempting to provoke a physical confrontation. Weeks later, I returned with another reservation and was denied a room because I had been placed on their Do Not Rent list. I believe this was retaliation for the previous incident. To make matters worse, the hotel has disputed my account of events, including falsely claiming I failed to check out on time. When I later called seeking assistance, I was hung up on. This is not how paying guests should be treated. Disagreements should be handled professionally, not through intimidation, hostility, or apparent retaliation. I will never return to this property and strongly recommend that others consider staying elsewhere.
