I get a text at 11:10 asking if I'm running behind and saying we may need to reschedule. I park at 11:12, text Julie back, and I walk into the basement where the lights are off and no one is to be seen. I called, Hello? and realized Julie was standing in the other room waiting. Instead of a warm welcome, she says that we may only get to one of the services because she has appointments back to back and cannot accommodate 12 minutes of lateness for a 90 minute appointment. I let her know that being late was unexpected and I apologized, but that taking another 4 hours out of my day for a trial was going to be very hard for me as I work full time and go to law school at night. She kept pressing the point that she is so busy, she has other things to do, and she can offer no flexibility, even when I said I was happy to rush it. Needless to say, I was not going to move forward with someone who was so inconsiderate. I left in tears. I've never felt so uncared for by a service person. I understand being busy and keeping a schedule - trust me - but I don't understand refusing to give people grace and refusing to be flexible to make things work. Weddings are as stressful as they are exciting. Someone who cannot be considerate of that should not be in the wedding business.

The massage was so good that I'm pretty sure I fell asleep and started snoring loudly. When she woke me up, I couldn't believe the 70 minutes had already passed! She stepped out to give me time to get dressed, and apparently, I fell right back asleep. LOL. I eventually woke up, got dressed, and was offered tea or water. I chose tea and enjoyed relaxing a little longer afterward. I left feeling so good. My muscles felt relaxed, and I didn't have that usual feeling of knots or tension. That alone tells me the massage was well worth it. I know robes and slippers are available with certain packages, and I think having those would make the experience feel even more like a full spa day. That's just my personal preference, though, and it doesn't take away from the quality of the massage. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning. If the massage has you falling asleep and snoring, you know they're doing something right! And this is actually my 2nd time here. I will definitely be back. They have lots of convenient appointment times throughout the day, they were super nice and responsive and since it was only my second time getting spray tanned she gave me wonderful recommendations for maintaining it. The type of airbrushing I got takes 8 hours to set which was perfect! Spray tanning is a great way to avoid UV damage and I would highly recommend coming here for this service. I will definitely be checking them out for other things like hair and makeup on the future :)
