The aisles are clean and navigable, and though the fresh vege section is woefully under represented, there's plenty to choose from on the pre-packaged shelves (as well as a wine and spirits area around the back). The prices are competitive and there's always a few items on sale, but try to get your shopping done in the daytime as it's just too quiet here at night.

There are constantly long queues at the checkout. Usually only one register is open with a huge line of people waiting. Sometimes there are two, but only when it's extremely busy. The staff often seem gloomy and unwelcoming, and the whole place looks messy and unpleasant. In general, Lidl seems to be getting worse and worse. Other supermarkets now have self-checkouts that also allow you to pay with cash, which makes life much easier. Here, you often can't do that, which is frustrating--especially when you want to send your child to buy something and give them cash. Honestly, I can't stand this store anymore--neither this one in Bray nor any other Lidl. The only reason I still end up here sometimes is because Aldi doesn't have the same bakery selection. If they did, my foot would never step inside any Lidl again.

We hit the Spar to have stuff in our hotel room, for when we get hungry between meals. And the Spar did just that! They also sell random things that you might run out of on your trip. The terminal will automatically request a signature. It's nice to know where everything is no matter which one you might happen to go into to grab whatever groceries you need. They have a great section of fresh foods like the fruit, veg, bakery, meat and fish and they also have a brilliant health food and alternative foods section. It's an asset to the town and makes shopping very enjoyable as the ambience of the shop is so lovely now with the renovations!

Yes there are groceries and produces here, but there's also clothes, electronics, household items, books, etc. It's a big store and I've always been able to find what I'm looking for here. Prices at Tesco are pretty decent from what I've seen. Not quite as low as a Lidl or Aldi, but not as high as a Dunnes or Marks & Spencer. Since Lidl and Aldi has a lower selection it's nice to come to Tesco and do one stop shopping here. The Tesco is located on the upper floor of the shopping centre, but they have inclined flat escalators for shopping carts. There's a bathroom outside the Tesco on the upper floor that is clean and well maintained. Bus stops are located right outside, but for those with a car there is a car park here as well. I really like this Tesco and look forward to coming back here again.

It is pretty impressive, lots of everything and as big as they say it is. It's also the only place where you can setup billed Tesco mobile phone accounts, according to their sales guy anyway. There are also a few other shops in the same complex like Argos, Vodafone, Boots and The Butchers Block. I can't really add much more than that, it's a Tesco. People know what to expect. Useful for when we are passing again.
