During the Halloween season they also have a really great assortment of Halloween Costumes from do it yourself/mix and match to a full blown already put together outfit. The store started out selling children's underwear and clothes and evolved into selling lingerie. 98 year old Miss J still runs the family business. When they first started selling undergarments all women wore girdles, hosiery, and bras. As girdles fell out of fashion they began to sell the more revealing lingerie that is popular today. With its jewel colored walls the store maintains a vintage feel. A historic plaque on the outside of the building notes its historical significance.
