Kevin was referred by your friend when I was looking for a radio for my son's 2012 Dodge Ram. We wanted a radio that had Apple carplay but one that wouldn't look out of sorts in an older model truck. Kevin arrived on time did the work at our house and the radio looks awesome like it was meant to be there. Great service great follow-up and a great product. Thank you so much read more

Really great experience with these guys. Communication was on point the whole time--they kept me in the loop and answered any questions I had without making it complicated. The install came out awesome. Everything works perfectly and looks clean, like it came that way from the factory. He also took the time to make sure everything sounded exactly the way I wanted, which I really appreciated. You can tell they know what they're doing. Overall super happy with everything and would definitely recommend them. I'll be back for sure if I decide to upgrade anything else. read more

I wanted to improve the in-car sound system of my Kia Optima and Kevin did everything to get it to my liking. He didn't just put in new speakers, an amplifier, and an output converter. True to his word, he meticulously adjusted them to get the best possible sound for my taste. An extra bonus: he's an extremely likable guy besides being efficient and very knowledgeable about his craft. read more

Very good quality. Had an answer for all my questions. After installation I called and asked him to tweak the remote starter to my needs and he delivered. Will absolutely recommend Kevin and Spanking Clean Auto & Security and I will definitely be going back... It's been a year since Kevin installed my auto starter and was having some issues turning on car. He came out to me same day on his lunch break nonetheless and fixed my issue w/o taking a cent more for his services even though I asked him too. A+ read more

I had a pioneer w8400nex installed in to my Honda. It was a complex installation but Kev went beyond what was required soldering and researching to ensure the dash kit fit seamlessly with my car's interior and that my radio and steering wheel controls functioned properly with idatalink maestro rr adapter. Although Kev was unable to get my steering wheel's phone call/ hang up and siri buttons to work because we were unable to find my car's bluetooth module, I am still happy with the overall job and love the radio. read more

Experience has been superb. Kevin spent the time to go thru the options. Originally I was thinking about upgrading to a Pioneer 7800 radio but Kevin suggested going with a Pioneer 1400NEX digital media receiver. Its a bit more expensive but the difference is like comparing a smartphone with a flip-phone. I went with the 1400NEX and have been extremely satisfied. Kevin provided good advice, a fair price, and flawless execution. Had to wait to get on his schedule but worth the wait. Wouldn't use anyone else. read more

Kevin is a true professional. His work is clean and he is very organized. He installed a Navtool product in my Acura MDX. The product turned out to be defective and had to be returned to the manufacturer. Kevin handled the whole issue with Navtool and eventually got it installed and working. You want this guy to do the work on your car. He KNOWS what he is doing and you can trust him. read more

Great business. I love how my radio and system sounds. Thanks spanking.

Got my brand new X3's windows tinted by this business. The guy Matt was a true professional. Prices are fair and service is guaranteed.

Kevin installed a remote car starter on my '03 Nissan Murano. Being an older model Murano, there was an issue with my "auto" function powering on the A/C after start up. Not something you want in the winter months. After discussing the issue with Kevin, he troubleshooted the problem with the addition of two relays to the system. That did the trick and it works as it should!! Spanking Clean installed the system with great care and are detailed with their work. Kevin puts great thought and pride into his work. I highly recommend them and their pricing is resonable as well! Thanks again Kevin, Brent read more

This is a spectacular find. I was lying awake at night trying to plan how to trace my dead right speaker and install two new ones in a classic 1964 Cadillac. I could do it, maybe, but I'd have to rip up the carpet and reinstall it and find wires. I began to wonder what shop might see me that day and do the work professionally. Surprised to find Kevin on Yelp, who scheduled an appointment right in my driveway that same afternoon. How great! Not only that, but he found the problem in 5 minutes, and required NO dismantling the car, just new connectors at the speaker end, then installed my new speakers in minutes very neatly, though it required drilling holes, which I was reluctant to do. And a very fair price, because he knows what he's doing and did not waste any time. I would not consider doing this any other way than in your driveway. It's a magical convenience and the work is of the highest quality. read more

I would highly recommend these guys. Kevin was extremely helpful working with me to choose a stereo that satisfied what I wanted within a budget. He was upfront with all costs and extremely responsive throughout the entire process. The installation was flawless and my new radio sounds and looks fantastic. Another great perk of working with Kevin is he will come to your home for added convenience. I couldn't be happier I found him for the job. read more

I wanted to add another safety element to my new certified pre-owned used vehicle with a rear view backup camera. I asked around and came up with several possibilities - none of which made me feel that an after market product would satisfy my safety concerns except after speaking with "Spanking Clean Auto Sound. I made an excellent choice. What I received was a complete explanation of what and how the installation would be, a fair quote and you would never know that paneling was removed. Best of all, it works the way I anticipated. This after market product now provides the additional element of safety I was looking for. I am more than satisfied. read more

I purchased around $700 worth of audio components and was deathly afraid of having the wrong place put it in. Everywhere locally in the Fairfield County area seems hit or miss which was the frightening part. Spanking Clean Auto seemed to have nothing but good reviews which was weird (honestly who doesn't think that one guy is just posting a lot of good reviews about his own company) so I decided to give it a shot. First, the bad. The only bad thing about the entire experience was that there isn't really a sign in front of where he was doing the work (was working out of a manufacturing facility) so I was sort of lost for 20 minutes even though I was standing right next to it. That's literally the only negative. Kevin came out to take a look at what I needed hooked up. Talked about it for 5 or so minutes, gave him plenty of time (seemed really busy, which happens, so I just told him to take as long as he needed. Try to be helpful and give this courtesy if you can afford to), handed over the keys and went on my way. What I needed done wasn't exactly some major modification, but I needed the center console on a Subaru Legacy swapped out for a double din unit, a dvd receiver put in, amplifier and subwoofer installed. I wanted to wait a couple weeks to make sure nothing weird started happening but I can officially say now that if you have any audio job and you're scared about people/companies being sketchy, come here. The work was done awesome. VERY clean install, did exactly what I asked for in every way, and met my expectations for a no-nonsense service transaction. I would 100% go back to him if I needed anything else done (does a bunch of other stuff too). He definitely seemed knowledgeable enough to help you pick stuff out if you needed assistance, but if you do your homework and scour the Internet for what you need and come prepared with the materials (or consult with him and have him order for you) everything will go flawlessly. Short statement: I was scared of sketchy audio places but Spanking Clean Auto met my expectations without a question in my mind for a very reasonable and competitive price. I fully suggest getting your work done here. read more

Had a new receiver for my daughter's car installed by a big box store, and was never happy with what they did. I saw all positive feedback about Kevin and Spanking Clean Auto, and wanted to finish the job right. I like to do it once, do it right, and always use someone who really knows what they're doing. Kevin was so easy to work with, on point from the first phone call to the finished installation, right in my driveway with no hassles, no excuses, and all the expertise you could ask for, installing 4 new speakers and giving my daughter and I a thorough lesson on using the new system, which sounds absolutely amazing. I would not hesitate to call Kevin again or refer him to anyone who needs anything from a simple to a high end system. Thanks !! read more

I called Spanking Clean Auto Sound after I luckily ran across his Yelp reviews. I was looking to have a remote starter installed and shopped around so I knew comparable products, prices and installation. Kevin quoted me a very fair price and a reputable product. So far so good, but I still didn't know what to expect in the way of installation. I dropped off my truck and picked it up a couple of hours later and was thrilled to see what a professional installation they did. The starter works great and Kevin made sure I understood how it functions before I left. I also had them install a new radio that I purchased elsewhere and again a fair installation price and a professional installation. I'm glad I found spanking clean and won't hesitate to use them again. read more

Kevin is the best. Spent extra time installing my stereo because my car's previous owner had done some stupid stuff behind the dash. Kevin figured out the problem and got things working. Its actually the second time he's worked on my cars. Each time he showed why he's the best. Smart, resourceful, lots of tools/gadgets, easy to deal with, fair. Not saying he's expensive, but you get what you pay for. read more
