I was…read moreexcited at first to see it in a new look when I picked up the truck, but after a couple of days, I checked the wheels and saw some flaws in the paint; two of them had issues with thin paint in the center wheel lug area. I contacted the shop, and they offered to repair it. They kept my car for another 4 days, and when I went back after, I was told they had to redo all the wheels, and I trusted them that the issue was fixed. Then, I got back home and saw the same issue: thin paint in the same area. I am frustrated and tired of bringing the truck back and forth to this shop. It seems they don't have a staff member with quality control experience to check the wheels if they are done correctly the first time. Now, I am still waiting for them to redo the paint on the same wheel for the third time. If you don't know anything about quality workmanship, you might miss the flaws in their work. For all the trouble I have gone through with this shop, I regret not buying a new set of wheels instead. I don't like giving negative reviews; 3x repairing the same issues is not acceptable. The manager accepted that the failed paint job was their fault. In my opinion, based on my experience, their staff lacks training!

I've never had to get my own car serviced and repaired before so I wanted to know that I was in good hands. I went on facebook and asked the harbor point group what people recommended for auto repair and the great reviews of scottys caught my eye. I called up scottys and they let me know they were booked for the next 2 days (it was the first) but they said to drop it off and that they would do their best to look at it beforehand. sure enough I got a call the next day with a breakdown of what needed to be done. They gave me an estimate which was HALF WHAT THE JEEP DEALER QUOTED US, plus it didnt include some of the nonsensical stuff they suggested to fix that scottys said did not need to be done. ultimately they were able to get everything done before we headed out for vacation. when I went to go pick it up, they had admitted there was a communication error and that it wasnt ready just yet and that it would be another hour or so. I mentioned that I had just took an uber and had a lot of other things to try to work on and to see if they could try to give me an accurate time estimate. the guy there (isaac i think) just handed me a set of keys and said heres a loaner ill call you! that alone made this a 6 star experience! talk about admitting to a mistake and making up for it with phenomenal service. anywho, i know where ill be getting my oil changed moving forward! thank you guys!

He charged us a ridiculous price for a tire too. When I mentioned another local tire vendor offered much better prices, he said they get cheap, low quality tires from China.     On January 9, I visited this Firestone location intending to drop my car off for a scheduled 5:30…read morePM appointment. I had called ahead to arrange the drop-off because I needed several services completed, including an oil change, installation of a passenger-side light, and rear brake service (which had been recommended during a prior oil change visit). I arrived a bit early, expecting the vehicle would need to be kept due to the appointment time, only to find out that there was no record of my 5:30 appointment. I'm not sure if this was a system issue or an error during scheduling, but I was willing to move forward. At the counter, I was assisted by an employee named Neal. He was polite and helpful in reviewing and booking the services I requested. I was quoted roughly $900 for the total work, which I initially accepted since I am preparing to move to Maryland and wanted my car fully serviced. After leaving the shop, I did some price comparisons with other service providers and found more affordable options for certain services. I called back to remove the brake flush and rear rotor replacement from the order. That decision itself was not my main issue. My concern was with the checkout experience. Neal was no longer available, and I was checked out by another employee older gentleman black hair. The interaction felt rushed and impersonal. My name was called, the price was stated, and my keys were left on the counter rather than handed to me. I was not informed where my car was parked and had to ask--unlike my previous visit, when the car was pulled up front and clearly presented upon checkout. Whether this change in service was due to removing some of the quoted services or not, the customer service at checkout was lacking. Regardless of pricing decisions, professionalism and consistency in service should remain the same. I recommend that customers do their research before committing to services here. While not every interaction was negative, the experience reinforced the importance of choosing businesses that value transparency, communication, and customer care--not just revenue. We all work hard for our money, and it's important to spend it with companies that genuinely aim to do right by their customers
