Long overdue wonderful review for the Spanish Schoolhouse Sugar Land. We have had our son at this…read morelocation since he was 18-months. Each classroom is named after a Spanish speaking country and let me say the Paraguay teachers are so loving! I have a very animated little man and they guide him to focus and learn while showing kindness and care. The student ratio is the best I've seen from any other local daycare. It's about 2 teachers to 10 kids. They really know your child's strengths and weaknesses and work with them. Now my son is 3 1/2 and moved on to classroom Mexico. The teachers in that classroom tell us talents and insights into our son - some we knew - some we discovered through their eyes. The attention to your kids the Spanish Schoolhouse provides is worth the investment when comparing to the larger class to teacher ratio at other daycares (which we did try) before finding Spanish Schoolhouse. The PLUS is he's learning Spanish and he very comfortably seems to accommodate Spanish when he knows you speak Spanish and English when he knows you are English speaking. It's incredible to see now at 3. Parents don't freak either! At 18 months talking with the other parents at b-day parties (pre-covid obviously) we were all concerned our kids were behind! But learning two languages at once starts slower. TRUST us suddenly around 3 they are doing GREAT! Anyway, we love this school and if you have the opportunity and care about learning Spanish, this is the best choice.

She is our first daughter and we were so nervous to put her in daycare but we absolutely LOVE De Colores. From the caring teachers, office and owner. They have activities and go above and beyond. Worth every penny. I recommend De colores to all our family and friends! By far the best experience we would have ever imagined for a daycare.

To list a few occurrences, my daughter fell down at home and her face had a bruise from the incident. The teacher texted me and said "you really sent your daughter to daycare with a bruise on her face" after I already explained to the staff what occurred. They proceeded to contact CPS on me which caused unnecessary stress on my family. Second, my son would ring us in to the facility which some staff would allow him to do but when Melissa saw him do this, she reported us to workforce. Third, my mom would come with me to drop off my daughter and since she was on a phone call, the staff decided to say she was recording the facility and reported that as well. Lastly, I went to pick up my daughter and I heard a staff member yelling at a child and scaring them in the play area, when I approached the manager she said "I will talk to her about it" who knows if anything was even done. This lack of professionalism and human decency/compassion for children and their families should be thoroughly investigated. I would not trust my dog at this daycare let alone my child. I have removed my daughter from this facility and I recommend no one places their child in the care of these so called "child care" employees.
