I don't write reviews too often however with the experience I've had with Jay and his crew, they deserve a 10 star rating. We picked Jay to remodel all of our restrooms. His ability to problem solve was a life saver as he helped saved us money and time. Him and his crew triple checked with us to make sure the placement of the tiles were what we wanted. Jay's crew was always on time and worked above and beyond for us. The end product of their work exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Jay and his team. We wanted something between big box store and custom cabinets and Space Kitchen and Bath had just what we needed. Their cabinets are solid wood and very well made. They don't have a huge endless selection, but they have a good number of options and know they can get what the offer delivered, which is huge. Leading up to the remodel Jay and his team were wonderful to work with. He was great at communicating as we finalized the layout and details, and when it was time to do the work, they showed up, worked quickly and professionally, and were able to dealt with the couple unexpected challenges that arose. The team worked fast, didn't cut any corners, and took steps to keep our home as clean as possible so that post-renovation clean up was kept to a minimum. Jay does a great job of listening and assessing what you need. He also sets realistic expectations and will let you know if any requests are outside of his capabilities. After a frustrating experience with two well-known mitigation companies and numerous plumbers dealing with an in-wall leak, we dreaded the process and cost of needing to patch all the holes in walls and replace cabinets that were removed. We were simply blessed by coming across Jay and Space Kitchen and Bath. He is an excellent communicator and made the process of assessment and setting a price much better than what we experienced exploring options with the mitigation companies. Jay and his team did fabulous job on the kitchen and bathrooms in our condo and we are super happy with it! Our experience with them was pleasant, as communication was fast and precise throughout the process. They estimated it would take 10 to 14 working days, however upon our request, the whole renovation was done in 9 days! The project included demolishing and rebuilding the entire kitchen cabinets, counter tops and the sink, and the floor and the entire master bathroom and a half of the guest bathroom. Last year our shower flooded down to my office below. Space Kitchen and Bath promptly came, gave us an estimate, retiled our shower, fixed the leak and redid the ceiling/sheetrock/painting. They also worked with the insurance company to get it covered. This year they helped us with a different project in the primary bathrooms. It was done so well that we decided to move ahead with two other rooms: a powder room and a pantry. We cannot tell you how great Jay and his crew are. They are professional, prompt, and give fair pricing. They are a relatively new company here on Big Island, and have a great attitude. Every issue we brought up was "no problem".
