Within 3 weeks or so, we had new countertops and island with waterfall. Shannon, a former employee of Davis Tile, lead the install and he and his crew did a magnificent job getting everything just right and on time. The tech said the float valve just needed adjusting and cleaning, no parts. He was here less than an hour. I received the payment notice by email and clicked and paid it before I opened and read the invoice. They billed for two hours @ $225 per hour. I called and finally got through to someone and explained the above. She said she would look into it and get back. Several days went by with no call. Again, had a problem getting thought to anyone. Finally, the gal said she would get with the supervisor and got back to me saying they billed it at the wrong hourly rate, should have been $155 per hour. She said the two hours would stand as they change for travel time and, evidently, do not prorate the second hour. I told her that was fine, please credit my credit card. I did not hear or see any credit come through several days later so I called. The gal told me she would have Calvin Junior give me a call. He did but did not know what it was about. I explained. His comment was "I don't know why they agreed to a refund be I will give it as a credit to your account." I told him I was not happy with that, that I wanted a refund as I did not know when I might need their service. After several back and forth, he refused a refund only a credit. When I told him I would get on Yelp and explain the bad customer service, he replied "do what you have to do."

We had a great experience with Space Bath & Kitchen Remodeling! Jay, the owner, is incredibly personable and did an excellent job of hearing us out, presenting us with options, and working with us to remodel our shower into a usable and enjoyable part of our bathroom, with our budget in mind! He was very accommodating of our desire to use some materials we had purchased previously, before we started working with Jay. They worked hard and completed the job quickly with great attention to detail. Their work surpassed my expectations - everything I had read suggested that the type of frameless glass shower enclosure we had gotten would always leak some regardless of the quality of the installation job. A couple weeks of regular use later and no leaks! I would highly recommend Space Kitchen &Bath to anyone looking to remodel all or a part of their bathroom or kitchen. The job we hired Jay for was a remodel of the entire three bedroom condo. No one believed we could do it in three months. Space did a remodel of our small bathroom in the condo we just bought. We had a very specific design request for converting the bathtub to a shower, and Space willingly worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted. They remodeled our whole place too to bottom and did a great job at a reasonable costs. These guys are the best you'll find on island. We came into their office with basic measurements of our kitchen and Bathroom drew up an accurate blue print in minutes. We installed the cabinets ourselves and used their contractors for the countertops and shower. read more
