Today, I was left with an awful experience dealing with this storage owner. She had a vendetta…read moreagainst me from the start because of the pervious owner of a unit i bid on Monday morning. I was given u til Friday before 9am to have everything out of the storage unit; which I did.. I've never bid on a storage unit before and I I sure got an experience. Allow me to make sure you know what you're getting into if you are like me and are new to this. This facility gives you 72 hours. 72 hours. To move everything. Tuesday and Thursday the business is appointment only and closed. So, doesn't it seem far to not even count those days for the 72 hrs if the office is closed? Which, if I'm being honest, seems like no time at all to get all items out of the unit. Other places I've seen give 45 days, 75 days etc. I wasn't looking for that long maybe 5 days, the most. Not sure about anyone else, but I work m-f and 2 of those days are 11 hrs shifts. Also, I have a toddler. So, time management isn't on my side. However, I got everything out of the unit from the second floor. Big furniture and dressers, bed, etc. Now, some items couldn't fit in my sedan car to move it so I have to leave it next to the garage dumpster. I was bc told not to leave anything out of the dumpster. My plan was to go back with a sledgehammer and demolish the furniture to fit it in the dumpster. Unfortunately, when I returned to the dumpster after I got off work on Friday afternoon, the items were gone. Because of that, she kept my $200 cleaning deposit. I understand I didn't meet her 72 hrs deadline but seriously?? Stating she had to call and have someone break down the stuff that was outside. Why? I said I would do it. And, I'm working with limited time but I would do it. She did not care. No thanks given to this business owner for not being compassionate and supportive of your fellow community member. It's just unfortunate that in today's world we are all struggling with inflation and it is hard getting by with what you earn. She was cold and callus to a single mother and could care less. That's cool. You're running a business, and the bottom line is your dollar: now you've got $199 more. So, again thank you for showing me your true colors. When on the phone, she was super combative with me and wouldn't allow me to speak up for myself. Interrupting me at every moment. This is the type of individual you will be dealing with at this business. Next time, I know better.

The owner met me with hostility and defensiveness via text message and phone call. To then not show up to work at all, setting our already behind timeline even more behind schedule. Our next issue was when the baseboards were reinstalled missing actual chunks and having cracks all over. When this was brought up to Luis we were once again met with hostility and lack of responsibility on his part. The quality of work we are left with for the value we paid is not worth it in my opinion. The stress we had to endure during this project was significant due to the tension the owner created from his immediate defensiveness with things that needed touched up or fixed. He then sent a cowardly text message in the middle of the night to my husband saying he was not returning and would not be completing the job per our signed contract. After talking directly to my husband just earlier that day ensuring he would be here to finish the project. We are now left with an incomplete home and touchups that need fixed around the home due to him and his employees poor workmanship.

Bags break with no cleanup, no pickups, and worse. By now, my HOA was sending me letters because the mattresses had been on my driveway for two weeks. What is wrong with Waste Management? They had some very positive reviews, so I called them. Tim answered my call immediately and happened to be a few miles from me at the time. They scheduled an appointment for 1:00 PM, and there he was, in my driveway, with his truck at 1:00 PM. They gave me a fair estimate, we agreed, and my mattresses and box springs were finally gone. This company made false promises to get us to accept their tree trimming services, the company…read moreowner Alex refused to stand by those promises, then lied by saying that he'd make it right then later refused to do so. They knocked on doors in my neighborhood unsolicited, pressuring people to trim their trees. Initially, the salesman gave pricing of $1100 for 3 palm tree trimmings. I declined due to the high price and because I was considering getting rid of our trees, but their salesman pressured hard, knocking down the price repeatedly, throwing in other trees to be trimmed, and GUARANTEEING me twice that we wouldn't have to worry about branches hitting our roof for over 2+ years after they did a "special cut" on the palm trees that limit their growth. We were taken advantage of. $750 for a job that took ~15 mins. Just 4 months later, it was clear we'd been lied to as the tree was already on the roof again. Upon calling owner Alex and sharing what his salesman told us, he was very demeaning over the phone, treating us like idiots for believing what his salesman told us and for not knowing how fast these palms grew (being new to the area). With great reluctance & verbal condescension, Alex told us he'd come trim the trees again next time they were in the area (see attached screenshot). But this too was a lie. When I followed up after 2 mos of hearing nothing, he renegged on his promise and refused to do it, calling me names, acting highly confrontational on the phone, and accusing me of trying to get free work which I've never done in my life and found very offensive. These actions are what I'd associate with a company who cares nothing about the customer once they have their money. I'm in disbelief over the his disrespect and refusal to make this right. I'll never do business again with a company whose salesman and owner lied, that uses high pressure salesmen tactics, shows zero regard for the customer, and won't stand by their work. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a company in my life, and I'm sharing this to help others avoid the same experience. With so many other landscaping companies around, I kick myself for believing their salesman and wish I'd taken my business anywhere else..

I have hired many contractors to have jobs done on our homes. We have had some that were great and…read moreothers not so great. This is the first time had such a bad experience I felt compelled to write a review. We hired Southern Touch at a cost of $29,000 for 7 days of tree removals, tree trimmings, garden plants removed, and some mulching. I was lead to believe from Alex that any time left over I(he expected at least to have about half a day of time left for each of the 2 adjoining properties) for additional work to be done. Because of all the equipment the extra time was shortened. The crew we had were very hard workers and I have no complaints with them. My complaints are with the owner, Alex. He puts on a great sales pitch about how goes above and beyond and does business making the customer happy but our experience was anything but. A lot of their equipment (stump grinder, boom truck, and a skid steer) broke down and the time lost kept other work from getting done. I was charged extra because he said he had to rent a crane but never got one when doing the job nor did he give any reduction of our cost and pocketed the savings for himself. The equipment leaked hydraulic oil all over the driveway, cracked the cement, broke a lot of the flower garden edging, and had sprinkler pipes tore out. The condition the property was left when the job was finished looks like a war zone. After multiple attempts to have Alex try to rectify them he said that clean up was not part of the job but he could come back if we payed for an extra days work. I showed him photos of a neighbor yard that had a tree and shrubs removed and the yard was cleaned but he said it's different for one tree than a lot of trees. A lot of lies and excuses. It's all about the money. He didn't take ownership for any of these issues and left us having to hire someone to clean the property, try to remove the oil stains, and repair the concrete, edging and pipes. My mistake was trusting and paying him before the problems were resolved. You will never get another job from me. Shame on you Alex!
