If I could rate this business a zero, I would. This review is based on a continuing education/training class that I enrolled in for December 14, 2020. The owner rescheduled the class without any regard to my schedule and changed it to January 25, 2021. One week prior ( Jan 16, 2021) she once again tried to change the class to a tentative date in April due to her moving to Savannah, Georgia. I told her that this was unacceptable and requested a refund of my $100 and all other fees I paid toward the class which totaled $1330.00 plus the cost for a workbook she told me to purchase ($244.00). She told me that she was "wiped out financially" and was unable to refund the $1574.00. This is "unethical practices" to take money and then to cancel the training. I wouldn't recommend this person/business in no form or shape since she is NOT to be trusted with advanced payments! read more

My face burned for 2 days after, I've done lashes for a yr else where never had allergies. And I know how to take care of lashes because they usually last three+ weeks anywhere else. She rescheduled and canceled 3x when I asked for corrections. Totally rushed me in and out bc she over scheduled herself. And talked me out of mink lashes and into D curls which made me look like I had cheap mascara on after. Don't take risk with your lashes here! Go somewhere that does lashes only. When I first met Mimi walking into Primary Kneads Massage Boutique , San Diego, Ca 92111 I was already impressed not only by the way the salon looked inside but the big beautiful warm welcome I got from her. Right away she introduced herself to me and offered me water while I filled out the new client paperwork. While I was filling out the paperwork, she was sitting right next to me so that she can answer any questions I had. After we filled out the paperwork, she walks me to her office through the Boutique, which again I was very impressed with. Arriving at her office, I was even more impressed because it was a full spa set up. Let me step back here a moment, I have had extensions before at a nail salon about 3 years ago and hated them! They were stuck on within an hour without any preparations of cleaning my eyes, the glue was thick. I ended up pulling them off because they were so heavy and uncomfortable. Ok back to my story. She offered me to lay down on the spa table with either on top of the sheets or I can go under the blanket. Of course I went under the blanket =), wanted the spa experience. After I laid down, she put warm towel around my neck...mmm it was so nice. Then she started to explain to me the whole process while she examined my eyelashes to see if they are even healthy to take on the extensions. After the examination of my eyelashes, she cleaned the eyelids/eyelashes with someone organic cleaning solution. Proceeding afterwards, she put on these white mask things on my lower part of my eyes that felt cool and refreshing. The mask reduces puffiness, thank god because I was drinking the night before and was a mess lol. The mask white things are used to hold down your lower lashes to make sure that the glue does not stick to them. While she was putting the eyelash extensions one by one, she kept replacing the warm towel around my neck; the slow jazz music playing....it was an amazing experience. The whole process took about 2 1/2 hours and it was the best thing ever! My eyelashes look amazing, can't see the glue and the best of all! They are not heavy =).
