I was in the area because my friend was getting married and we were staying at a local hotel. The bride asked me to get my nails done with her so we made an appt at Spa Pointe for two pedicures and a gel fill. The staff were really nice. I will say, however, that the prices arent worth it in my opinion. Ive been getting gel nails and pedicures consistently for years. When I go to my local salon, I pay about $30 for a "basic" pedicure (basic, but very nice) and about $50 for a gel fill, depending on if I get a design or not. Because her wedding was 24 hours away, I decided to pamper myself and get the "Rejuvenation pedicure" for $45. Overall the pedicure was nice and relaxing and the staff was fine, but I dont think it was worth the extra $15. The only difference I noticed from a regular "basic" pedicure was a machine blowing steam on my legs, and even then the steam barely touched my legs. It dissipated into the air and definitely never made it to my left leg. My friend, the bride, also got the Rejuvenation Pedicure and a gel fill. *she did not make any complaints about the services she recieved. This review is based purely off my own perspective and opinion*. When it came to her getting the gel fill, she asked for french tip on 8 nails and a white floral design on both ring finger nails (she brought picture for reference). The nail tech, again, was very nice. But he didnt even try to recreate the design in the picture nor did he ask another tech to help. He simply said he couldnt do it. The bride was very understanding and said he could do whatever design he wanted to, as long as it was white. He ended up doing a single white flower and it was just 'okay' in my opinion. What really bugs me is that she ended up paying $110 for the pedicure and gel fill. She didn't seem bothered by this, but she also doesn't get her nails done regularly so she assumed that was good pricing. I have never paid that much money for a pedicure and gel fill. And I really dont think what she got was worth what she paid, especially since she didnt even get the design she wanted. Maybe we should have checked the prices before we made an appointment, thats our fault. Im just saying the prices are a little steep in my opinion. The staff were very nice, but our nails came out very basic for the prices. read more

This nail salon is bright, big, beautiful, and clean!!! They use the most hygienic methods of sanitation and products possible including using an enclave to sanitize metal instruments in their plastic bags. The prices are fair and the salon has many services to offer! It's tucked away and hidden in the corner next to subway but it's a real gem! Lina did an amazing job on my nails! I've been looking for a new salon, which has been very difficult. Lina was attentive to me and what I wanted as well as told me all about the salon, hygienic efforts, and why they use certain products. She was very knowledge and is very talented. The lady in there laughed when she saw my nails were short for a real reason I'm always working with my hands. I still gave her a nice tip though. Save your money, go elsewhere. These people are praying in rich Glastonbury moms spending their husband's money. A lady in there was gaming a zoom meeting on her phone talking so loudly and then shouting across the room to her other friend. It was ridiculous. I am new to area and popped in here random. Excellent. Friendly and got me right in. I got gel nails, brow and lip wax and facial. Ok seriously...one of my best facials to date. She uses her hands instead of machines and incredible products. My skin looks absolutely amazing. I will definitely go back for my upcoming pedicure and schedule a massage. I've been going to spa point for a while now and I couldn't be happier. It's so hard finding a new nail salon let alone one that consistently does a good job. Every time I've come here I've had exceptional service and been treated with such kindness. Everyone greets you when you come in and they really cater to your needs. Ive gone back and forth between gel and dip because most of the time I find gel will start to peel after you've gotten them more than 4 times. Not here. My nails always last the full 2-3 weeks between fills. And every time I leave so happy because my nails always look perfect! I couldn't recommend this place enough! read more

I had an amazing pedicure here this past week! When you walk in, it's bright, modern, and most importantly, clean. They have the largest selection of colors that I've seen in Glastonbury, and everything is super well organized. They have the basics, plus long lasting organic polished in a huge range of colors. There are lots of pedicure stations, so it seems like if they have enough staff they could accommodate larger groups. I opted for the classic manicure, and settled into the massage chair. One of the staff brought me water which was much appreciated. The experience was extremely relaxing. My tech spent a lot of time massaging my legs and rubbing lemons and essential oil on my feet. They used a steamer to gently steam my feet, which was a first for me, but felt very luxe. I have SUPER dry feet and when the tech was done my feet looked fantastic. As a promotional special, I was offered a shoulder massage while my nails dried. Overall, I would definitely come back for another pedicure - super friendly staff, clean space, and good paint job! read more

I decided to try this place out instead of my normal spot, and I regret it. 2 days later and I have 2 CHIPPED NAILS! The guy who did my nails wiped the shine coat off so only half of them have a shine to them. Not to mention several of them are different length and are not even painted all the way up to the cuticle. The gel is such a thin layer that the color is blotchy. And he filed my nails down too much so now they are flimsy. I would never come back to here. read more

I'm not one to leave a review and if I do it's usually after an absolutely horrible experience, but Spa Pointe impressed me so much I want to tell everyone I know how awesome they are. The salon is exceptionally clean, classy, and most importantly the service is top notch. I very rarely get my nails done and get a pedicure every once in a while but after today I will certainly be a regular here. I just left and am so happy and ready for my engagement photoshoot tomorrow. Sandy took her time and my nails (and toes) look incredible. Went for a pedicure with my Friend. I gave 3 stars because the total pedicure took 20 mins. Not a lot of leg massage or lotion on legs that's typical. Too quick and not relaxing unfortunately. Yeah, well, this is one of those places. A precious gem amongst a slew of places, but one where you will be grateful for trying. Never have had a worse experience. I went in this week to get a pedicure and the lady cut my cuticle so deep and when I grimaced she just said "okay just making it shorter". I never even asked her to do in the first place. Three days later I have an infection and will need to go to my doctor because my entire toe is swollen and can barely move. read more

From the moment I walked in the door my experience at Spa Pointe was wonderful. I made an appointment a few days in advance and when I walked in I was greeted by name. The atmosphere and decor is very clean and calming. Every single person in there was so friendly and accommodating. I didn't feel like I was being rushed through my appointment. I really loved how the nail tech (I believe her name was Fernanda, I might be wrong) shaped my nails and she was good about checking that I was satisfied with the shape, length and color selection. Decided to give Spa Pointe a try shortly after opening and fell in love. I'm not a fan of any other salons in the area so I was super excited from the second I walked in. The space is super bright and clean. There are tons of color choices for gel polish which doesn't always happen. My favorite part is that they have such pretty colors that are free of 13 chemicals! I chose a bright pink/peachy color before I left for Mexico and after 3 weeks and hours in the water, the polish still looked great with no cracks or chips. So happy!! Went there and a woman greeted me at the door, took my temp and gave me hand sanitizer. Asked me what my name was and then looked into her book, she told me that she didn't have my name. As for Covid safety, they are doing an excellent job keeping everyone safe during this pandemic. They clean thoroughly. There is separation plexiglass for pedicures and manicures.
