Let's start with the nails turned out nice. But the lady with the daughter was so rude that I would never return. I took my 8yr old daughter there today for her first mani/pedi and the lady was upset with me because I wanted to wait for my daughter while the did her pedi before getting my mani so we could be together. She was so upset that so fussed at me for smiling to encourage my daughter and not hearing g her point to put my hand under dryer. They didnt dry my daughter toes, didnt take her shoes to the next location when pedi done and did t even tell us where to go to dry her finger nails, a guest did. I kept my calm due to my daughter's presence. Needless to say she had to stop her work numerous ti.es due to her little girl having a melt down. But I wasn't bothered. I wish I could post photos of my bloody cuticle that's swollen... My nails that were cut down so short that there's nothing that can be done with you them. After him redoing the very simple thing I asked for and getting it wrong numerous times I gave up and just said OK. Didn't even know what I meant by wanted gems in the middle. I spent $135 and have never once been disappointed in my life over my nails. 30 years and not one complaint ever. I'm a simple person to please. I would rate 0 but that score is not available. I stopped in for an eyebrow tint due to thinning eyebrows. I showed Judy a picture of the shape I wanted. I also told her several times I also wanted a light taupe-ish or light brown color due to my gray hair. When I saw the completed work, I complained that the color was too dark and the shape was not what I showed her. She said the color would fade in a few days and she couldn't do the shape because there wasn't enough hair??? I later called to say I would like a refund due to the terrible job. She agreed. When I went back the next day, she was angry and speaking loudly in her language about me, no doubt. She barked at me that she needed my i.d. for the record which I gave her. She then began to shout at me about having to give a refund repeating why she couldn't give me the design and shade I wanted. Customers were alert. She handed me part of the money and said I needed to sign a statement saying I got the refund. I said I would after she repaid the total amount. She then kept yelling about the statement so I left without writing a statement. I had heard about a friend experiencing similar work but thought I'd risk it as I was nearby that day. The young female nail technician was texting on her phone when she was asked by one of the guys to do my nails. Immediately she had an attitude. She snatched my hand and began rushing on nails. I was strapped for time and stopped by this lovely shop. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by 3 different people. Everyone had smiles on their face. It didn't have that "nail salon" smell. You guys know what I'm talking about. When u walk in and it takes you a minute to adjust because your nose is burning and your eyes are watering. They asked what I would like and showed me to the books which were wonderfully arranged and color coded. They also had the ones on the little spool in case you are one of those people who like to hold them in your hand. I was seated and they went to work right away removing all the bulky thick acrylic and gummy polish. She worked so very delicately and took her time. She chatted a bit and was a complete joy. Talking but not too much, not too little. She made me feel welcome and like family. She gave me a sense of being. The chairs were extremely comfortable. The atmosphere was very laid back and it was super nice inside. Very roomy. From the outside it looks cramped, but when you walk in it's like wow! Upon leaving, she gave me a card. She didn't make me feel pressured to come back, but she continuously wanted to make sure I liked what she was doing. The prices were excellent and they have several different services to choose from. They do all types of nail art and shapes. The customer service, prices, cleanliness, location, and quality was excellent! As of 2/9/20 Today has been the absolute worst! I came in for a repair to my thumb nail and I've sat here an hour and a half and still haven't gotten it done. One girl said oh I can't do pink and white and the one that is to do my nail(singular) has other people she has done and still doing because others don't know how to do it. Every single person should know how to do all things. Some maaybe a bit better than the rest. But they should still know how to do it. This will be my absolute last trip here. All the nail technicians are not that good; you have to request your favorite and wait. Where I go to spend my money and give great tips I expect the all around good service, no one or no business is perfect, we understand that. I always say good morning or good afternoon, I expect that in return, that's how my parents raised me. When I show up, no one greets me like they do there other clients; I don't know why, did I say or do something wrong in the past; they just say pick a color, lol. I think that's very rude and unprofessional. It's one lady that refuse to do my nails, she never speaks, and she has this mean look on her face every time I come to visit, I wish I knew her name. I don't have a clue what there saying about you when your there because I don't speak there language and I'm not trying to learn it! I don't recommend this nail shop at all.. Not clean, equipment not properly sanitized, towels for pedicures look dirty. They use the same tools on guest for pedicures that should be disposed after each use because you can't properly sanitize nail files and foot scrubbers. All metals tools were just sitting in trays so I know those were not properly sterilized. A male employee didn't wear gloves and had cuts on his hands while servicing a pedicure guest. Now that's an infection/germ spreader right there. I'm sure if State Board payed them a visit, Spa Nail 1 would have several FINES or would be temporarily closed. They are extremely rude here, no one welcomes you as you come in. There are no prices written anywhere so they can basically charge you as much as they want. Only two girls here actually know how to do nice acrylic nails and design. I was sitting here waiting for 1 1/2 hours and when it was finally my turn a woman who came in after me went in before me. I confronted the worker because it was clearly my turn and she said she could not take me because she had to take the woman who just came in first. No explication nothing. My brother and I went in on Sunday for pedicures and I also had manicure. The gal that was greeting everyone as they came in and told us to have a seat. I got called back for my pedicure while my brother waited. , I was finished with that and went up to have my manicure they had skipped over my brother not once but twice I was done and he was still waiting. Well, I went in for a manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was OK my full set was OK as well ...but I also got my lashes and eyebrows done and when I was getting them done I felt like they could've been a lot better my eyebrows could've been a little bit more Archie, which I told her that, and my eyes was burning from the glue. When she finished she just got up and walked away, never acknowledged that she was finish never gave me a fan or anything to blow on my lashes, because they was burning like hell. I had to ask for a fan. She also didn't even give me a Mirror to look at the finished results. She just walked away... when I left out to looked in my mirror in the car. I noticed that I wasn't satisfied with my lashes because they were lifting a little bit and also my eyebrows could've been a lot more cleaner I'd ask her to fix it up and started begin a little bit more demanding and when I looked in my phone to look at my eyebrows and lashes, they were still lifting at that point I just left. I probably won't never come back again only probably just to get my nails and feet done by somebody different, but definitely won't come back for lashes eyebrows!!!!! I've never had worse service or experience in my life. I took my 3 year old daughter for our first mani/pedi. I told them She wanted a Hello Kitty design. The guy just started pulling colors out and putting stripes on her nails- didn't understand a thing that I said. I showed a picture and the man doing my pedicure goes and starts putting random stuff on her nails and laughed the entire time speaking whatever language. *in the mean time another unhappy lady is voicing her opinion* Meanwhile I sat there with legs wrapped in towels, one foot in a bag with wax and other out. After 25 mins sitting with cold towels and one foot sweating in a plastic bag I took it off myself. After 35 minutes have passed he comes back to me. He rushes through and doesn't even do ends of nails so they look unfinished. Tells me to give hands for manicure. I say no, he tried to say yes... NO. He puts us at dryer and says "you pay now". I asked to speak to manager. He started hollering "manager" A young lady comes back and says she's sorry but I must pay. I say I think I deserve a discount and she tells me come back. I grabbed my daughter and told her I'd pay in front. I go to front and she then tells me "lady sorry but I'm not manager. Manager doesn't come often" I said that I was so upset, my daughters nails were horrible, mine were unfinished and I didn't get manicure as planned because it was now 90mins there, and I have stuff all over pants from the stuff they sloppily applied to legs. I tell her I didn't get the massage portion of what I was paying for or anything. She tells me she can only take $5 off and come back. I was so flipping mad. If my daughter was not with me I would have probably made a huge scene. I am now home and the polish on my toes is so thick that it's still not dry and is coming off. I was looking for a new place to get my nails done. I'm new to the area and have been trying various salons to find one I like. On 7/6/20, I came to Spa Nail 1 and got a full & pedicure for $80. It is a nice salon. An older man did a nice job but didn't smile much and was a little rough. I went back again on 7/24/20 for same fill & pedicure and was charged $80 plus there were two separate $10 charges for a total of $100 plus I gave him a $10 cash tip both times. Unfortunately I didn't notice these extra charges until I was going through my receipts that night. I stopped by following Tuesday to see why these extra charges were added but the man wasn't there. I asked the girl working if she knew why the extra charges would be added when the same processes where done. She said they were probably for "no chip" polish. I told her I was never made aware of any extra charges. She had no response and pretty much put it on me. BUYER BEWARE!! They add extra fees! I got my nails done yesterday by Hung it was one of the worst nail experiences ever! He cut me three times, and was unable to stop the bleeding on one of my fingers so he tried to put nail glue on it to stop the bleeding! I jerked my hand away so fast, he speaks minimal English so I had a hard time communicating to him to tell him that it needed to scab. I probably told him 5 times to leave it alone. Stop picking at it and stop rubbing the wound. The finger continued to bleed and he continued to rub alcohol on it. I was in so much pain. I get to the register and he continued to charge me full price after I told him that his service was unacceptable. I was in his chair for an hour and 45 minutes. Perhaps he needs training on when the cuticle ends and when skin starts. He took the cuticle clippers to my bare skin! Considering my experience and telling him my displeasure I was expecting a minimum of $5 off or at least a few dollars off my next visit.....NOPE! NOTHING! I honestly felt that they could care less. First time going to this place. Never again will I return. Who the hell charge $30 for a pedi with French tip??? You're using LESS polish!!! It should just be a regular priced pedi at $25. Ok didn't know a French tip pedi was that price, cool. Not really tripping off that. What mostly pissed me off was the old lady who did my eyebrows. Fucked them all the way up!!!! And then she act like she didn't see the fuck up. Left eyebrow at the tip was super thin & then the right eyebrow was good & thick.
