This was my second time coming here. My husband had asked me what I wanted for Christmas and this is what I asked for. Couldn't ask for a better gift. This is one of the most relaxing spa's in Long Island. As soon as you walk in the sounds and atmosphere is so calming that you will immediately start to relax. This was a much needed break from my crazy life. I love the robe and slippers. Relaxing in the serenity room with a mimosa was a great start. The staff really does their best to make you feel pampered. My facial and reflexology treatment was amazing. I will definitely go back to Christine again for a facial. I have had a lot of facials and by far she has been the best! After my treatments I had a delicious spa lunch. I didn't want to leave and go back to my crazy life. If you're looking for a real spa that gives you their all you have to come here. This is not like those franchises that rush you out of the treatment room and spend no time talking to you. Not one time did I feel rushed. They even told me to take my time and relax on the treatment table for a few minutes. Any other place around here gives you only a couple minutes to hurry and dress. Top of the line Day Spa! Calm and serene with beautiful decor and a professional staff to support a totally relaxing experience. My facial with Barbara Marto was one of the best I have had and the products were effective and luxurious. After my service I was escorted to the lovely lounge where I was invited to stay and relax for as long as I wanted! I totally did not have to jump up and leave which is standard at many places, but got to stay in my blissfully relaxed state for an extended period. I come here regularly for an escape . You are welcomed in, change into a luxurious bathrobe, brought into the serenity room with an offering of water, tea or mimosa. I got a Groupon for a 75 minute spa package including 25 min of massage, 25 min of reflexology and 25 min of facial. I filled out the required paperwork and waited in the waiting room for about 15 minutes. The chairs in the waiting room are extremely uncomfortable, so I could not wait to go inside. I went to the dressing room to change into a bathrobe and flip flops, there is a locker to leave your thing there as well. Then I was led to a dark room with candles and dim lighting and was offered a mimosa, which I gladly accepted. The drink was really good. I was enjoying the drink for about 10 minutes when Amanda, my massage therapist introduced herself and asked me to follow into the massage room. The massage was good, relaxing but not therapeutic as much. Reflexology included foot massage, which was really nice as well. Amanda was very professional and attentive to details. Then I had a facial. The products that the esthetician used on my skin were really amazing! Rarely am I satisfied with the products because I have combination skin and most products seem oily. Not this time. The short facial did not include extractions, but it was not really expected either. After the whole spa experience, I went to a sun room where I was served a light lunch. A bowl of fruit, green tea with biscotti were really satisfying after relaxing 1.5 hours. Great experience! Would come again! read more

I've been here many times and returned just last week, a pre wedding gift from my sister. She purchased a gift card and lucky me three weeks before my wedding was spa week!! I made an appointment for a facial and a 25 minute massage. When you walk inside, the lobby is very tranquil and the receptionist is extremely welcoming and friendly. Fill out some paperwork about your history and expectations then it's off to the locker room where you strip down and get into a warm and comfy robe coupled with sandals, or "slides" as the kids call it these days. They offer you a complementary mimosa as you sit in a faux patio waiting room for your masseuse and room to be ready. The music in the background is that of birds, rain and the rustling of wind with soft music. There is a basin containing candles for you to light and wicker chairs as if you're on back patio of a remote country getaway overlooking a brambling brook. When you're called into your room and climb into the bed you enjoy the warmth of the heating pad beneath the layers of sheets followed by the bliss of skilled hands as your knots and tension melt away. All too soon it's over, your body is tingly and you wish you could extend your visit from an hour to 12! The final stop is back to the quaint patio room where the hostess takes your tea order. When she returns, she places before you a tray containing a beautiful display of plated fresh fruit drizzled with yogurt, a biscotti and a unique ceramic tea cup with a hole in the center. This cup houses your flavored tea in a triangular tea bag with water to allow the tea potion to mix and fill your nostrils with its sweet scent. After sometime you realize you really do have to go home and do laundry because you'll have nothing to wear to work tomorrow. I went to Spa Exo'tique for the first time yesterday and had a great facial from Christine and massage from Kelly. However I was deeply disappointed that my $250 gift certificate was not transferable, as the business has changed hands. Despite searching the spa's website, social media, and online reviews, I didn't know about the new ownership when I arrived, and the owner acted as if I was some huge inconvenience for having a 15 month old gift certificate (as the mother of a toddler who works full time outside my home and commutes 4 hours/day, getting an afternoon off is very difficult). She tried to make the case that it was an entirely new business (despite having the same staff, building, website, etc.), and therefore my gift certificate was no longer valid and she was losing money by allowing me to have the services I'd scheduled after telling the receptionist that I was using a gift certificate. Ultimately $80/32% of my gift is apparently not permitted to be used, and I think that is very bad business. Definitely won't be returning. read more

What a wonderful experience! Hosting an out of state friend, I was seeking a day spa experience even if we only had a few hours. We were greeted as they were expecting us. Led into a glorious back areas with many many private treatment rooms. Started off with allowing us time to chat and enjoy mimosas. The setting was unbelievable, staff was great and massages excellent! Followed by fresh fruit, biscotti and hot tea.... and more time to relax! You are escorted into a changing room where you are supplied a robe and sandals. From there you are put into a quiet room where you are given a mimosa. Groupon allowed me the indulgence of a spa treatment. I was signed on for foot reflexology, facial, and massage for twenty-five minutes each. The spa sets behind the shopping mall, but your GPS will send you into the mall. Pass the mall and it is on the right. This is a small spa with dedicated welcoming staff. I would not call it upscale in the least. I was seated in a sun lit room for well presented red herbal tea (not my thing) and a tea biscuit. The wicker chairs would be more comfortable with foot stool or provide a couple of loungers. Kelly provided the massage. I now know that I personally do not know how to give a proper massage-post Kelly. It is Japanese zen in nature where the hands never leave the body, smooth long strokes with differing pressure...uh, wait while I relive it once more from memory. It was beyond wonderful, and she and her touch was so comforting. She allowed me to relax without verbally spilling my life's ills. The reflexology was different with more pressure between toes and tendons. A thumbnail makes small circles on the toe pad. I would strongly suggest a massage by Kelly. It is nurturing, healing, and relaxing. You almost want to forgive the world. Off next, to my facial. I could not wait to leave with a fresh, clean faced feeling...but what I got! I got some talking, but Shanan soon got the message that I wanted only the experience. My head was wrapped in a tight band and an oily cream was slathered on my face. It was not pleasant and didn't smell good. Hot steam was pointed in my direction. It was much like sitting in a ships boiler room with goose fat on your face. I wanted out but stayed the course. Light taps with the fingertips..and that does what? Blood flow I guess...so a gritty concoction was next. I left with a sheet of suggested products to assist my skin which I have few complaints about. Don't get this facial and think you can up and go back to work. The facial products stuck in my hair and hair line. An immediate shampoo was needed, and I could not wait to get home to wash my face as it held an odd waxy feel afterward. Surely, this is not the norm after a facial. I realize it was my first, but I don't think this is the way it should feel. I wouldn't do it again. I had a few breakouts at my hair line afterward. Let it be known I do have sensitive skin and use chemical free, dye free, scent free products at home. Yes, get the massage by Kelly and try to hold back kissing her feet afterward. read more

They were professional and did everything by the book. Theres a private changing area with shower, they provide you with robes and sandals. My daughter & I both went for massages today. I've been there once before but this was my daughters first real massage. Needless to say she's now addicted!! The Spa was so relaxing, very clean & the staff was very professional, accommodating and made sure we wanted for nothing. We were offered Mimosa's before our massage and each a delicious plate of fruit with yogurt, hot raspberry nectar tea along with a delicious chocolate almond biscotti after our massage!
