I have to admit I was feeling slightly uncomfortable about having a random stranger massage me, however the staff were so friendly and nonchalant about the whole thing I quickly got over any awkwardness. The facilities are great and a very good size for a party or hen do. Plus they let you bring your own food and drink so we set up a buffet snack table. There was a Jacuzzi, an amazing steam room and a good-sized sauna. The massage itself was soo relaxing, and they use really lush smelling products too. I also liked the fact that two people could have one simultaneously side by side, as it kept the hen-do atmosphere going. I have to say my only disappointment was the manicure. She shaped and tidied my nails great, but then the quality of the polish was awful. The nail polish I had chosen had started to dry out and was very thick and a little bit grainy. Instead of getting a fresh bottle out she used that one. It completely ruined my nails, I had to get ready to leave after an hour but layers were so thick they wouldn't dry properly, so I had all sorts of indents and splodges on my nails after getting changed. So unfortunately I had to totally re-do them when I got home. However all in all I would recommend it, and would just say inspect your polish before they apply it and be more assertive about them opening a new bottle if its not very good.

It's a ladies-only beauty parlour that offers all face and body treatments and massages. It's best to book an appointment for lengthy treatments such as body waxing or facials. However, you can drop-in for eyebrow threading. My favourite threading therapist is Jyoti. She gave my eyebrows a shape that I never knew existed! And it costs just £2.50! It gets busy during the school-run when mums drop-in so I'd avoid going at this time. Satya is the head beautician who executes most of the facials, massages and waxing treatments. She is very knowledgeable and professional in her approach. She is also welcoming and bubbly. Just listen out for the laugh and that's Satya! The salon also offers mendhi, eyebrow tinting and bridal services. It's a homely salon with all the essentials and no pretence.

There were a range of products that they must use for treatments such as facials but I'm not sure if they sell these behind the counter as I was in too much pain to ask. Not my most favourite treatment, mainly due to the pain, but they did the job and I could wear a skirt once more!

Perfect pick me up for anyone wanting to feel a bit slimmer. When I got there, they measured my body taking note of my current body size and started to wrap me up using bandages soaked in what can only be described as clay like substance. They were left on for around 60 minutes whilst I was left to lie on the bed and relax. Although the inch loss isn't permanent but a good start to a healthy diet, when I was measured I had lost 6 inches from different parts of my body. Great treatment if you want to feel extra special.

The staff were bubbly and sociable and did all they could to distract me from the awful pain! However, I wasn't convinced they gave comprehensive coverage to the area, which is evident from the square patches left! I assumed the treatment rooms would be quite small however i was pleasantly surprised to find that they were a very decent size! My therapist Hannah, was lovely and immediately made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I had a back neck and shoulder massage, which was amazing, i could really feel the difference....it did get quite painful at one point as i had ALOT of knots in my shoulders but she got them all out and my back felt so much looser afterwards, so she did a brilliant job! Next i had a facial which made my skin feel really fresh and soft and. I was very impressed that Hannah was very knowledgeable, i assumed i had a few whiteheads on my face, she told me straight away its Milia and its very common and how to get rid of them. Lastly i had a manicure and polish, they use OPI polish and there was a good selection of colors available, so its almost been a week now and only minor chips on the tips of a few nails. Hannah told me to take my car keys out before she put the polish on, after the polish was applied she passed me my keys and put my bag on my shoulder for me so that my nails wouldn't get ruined, which was very sweet of her. All in all it was a fabulous experience, and I've found my new local masseuse. Can't find any fault, or negative things to say , so five stars it is!

She is chatty and friendly and good at what she does. My only niggle was that the room was quite cold... and when you're having to remove layers of clothes and lie on a bed with just a blanket over, raising the room temperature is a must! The heater in the room didn't cut the mustard unfortunately. Still, I pointed this out and was compensated with extra blankets which took the bite off, but the building and the sub-zero temperatures outside was the main cause of the problem. Happy to recommend this place to others in the area and, like the other reviewer said, you have to go into the tanning place and up the stairs to get to this. Ian was super professional and made me feel really comfortable and relaxed and explained exactly what the treatments I was having entailed ( Aromatherapy Massage & Steam Facial ) After describing my skin type and issues ( oily combination, and a bit spotty! ) and filling out a client consultation form. The massage itself was fantastic. Ian took much care in custom blending amazing essential oils to create a really enjoyable aroma experience to relax me, and help soothe my shoulder pains. His technique was brilliant, and just the right pressure while you lay in a beautiful and comfortable bed of fluffy and warm plush blankets ( No crinkly paper roll like the doctors office! ) On top of feeling super relaxed and mentally at ease, My neck and shoulders now feel absolutely amazing! Then we moved onto the facial. Ian made a customised skin regimen of products just for me, he uses Eve Taylor and Tropics products. Which all feel and smell brilliant. My favourite product used was the Tropics citrus scrub, smelled phenomenal and worked a treat to get rid of the dry flaky skin around my ' T-zone' area. On top of your usual techniques, I was treated to a gorgeous face, neck and shoulder massage, hot towels and steam, and pore cleansing. Ian took great care that I was comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire time, ensuring I was really getting the most out of my treatment, even massaging me arms, neck and shoulders whilst waiting for my face mask to set. All the products are super light, and not oily or sticky at all. The process left me with a gorgeous glow, and left me feeling pampered stress free and beautiful. I even got compliments the next day at work about my skin! All in all I had a lovely experience! I would definitely ( and already have done ) recommend to anyone, and purchase treatments as gifts in the future as it was such an enjoyable experience! 5/5*!
