The staff were lovely, service fantastic (Claudette put a *lot* of effort into sorting my shoulders out, for which I'm very grateful) and the shave was a pleasant experience. I've booked in to go again next month. The massage room was very warm (unlike others I've been to) which was very welcome. What's good: loads of deals, check facebook, groupon and other places. Considerations: there's only one hairdresser, so appointments are essential.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. My partner phoned up on 3/2/19 and was advised by a member…read moreof staff that there were appointments for Cal Gel nail extensions available on 11/2/19 so booked a Groupon Voucher. She was told she would be phoned back by the specialist on 4/2/19 to book in the appointment. No call was received and the phones were already off when she tried calling at 6.45/50pm on 4/2/19. She was finally able to get through on 5/2/19 (today) - still hadn't received a call back, forgotten about, and the lady that was supposed to do the Cal Gel appointments answered. She was very abrupt saying that there was no appointments and she wasn't working that day. Rather than trying to resolve the issue she was patronising and obnoxious to the point where my partner felt upset and was hung up on after calling her rude. I myself then phoned back to try and resolve the issue and the lady explained that she was off because she had only just found out on the day that her Mum was extremely ill and had to go to London that day. (Sorry to seem cynical, but it seems strange to me that she was suddenly ill and the lady could only travel to see her the following Monday, rather than driving down immediately). She was getting increasingly aggressive and did not provide any solution to the problem other than 'the vouchers lasts 4 months' which unfortunately wasn't helpful in the slightest as we travel to New York next week (the whole point of the appointment). The lady was unable to grasp that my partner had rang in advance before buying the voucher to check that there was appointments available in over a week's time! We are taking it up with Groupon to try and reclaim the money but I would advise that anyone who is looking forward to having their nails done avoids this place like the plague after our experience dealing with them. We are reasonable people and would have tried to come up with a solution - the least that could have been done is offered a refund in my opinion, however after the lady shouted at me, wouldn't let me finish my sentence and hung up the phone, I have taken to Google amongst other platforms to leave a review at this frankly appalling customer service that we have received. To add insult to injury, there wasn't the option to give them a 0 star rating, so an extremely generous 1 star will have to suffice. Disgusting.

The manager is very rude and made me run to the bathroom to cry after I politely said I was…read moredissatisfied with the service. This was paid for by my mum as it was my first beauty treatment since having my baby who was 7 months at the time. I requested a medium brown colour to lighten my hair from light black-one shade down. I sat for 7 hours to get my colour done twice and there was a band of orange in my hair at the end of this timeframe. I did not complain as these things happen. I was reasonable and agreed to come back the next day. I waited for 30 minutes to be seen and it took a further 3 hours. No apologies throughout. I had to pay for childcare as I was so embarrassed about my hair. I am very open to mistakes occurring as long as management apologise to some degree. The manager told me 'what did I expect.-colour took time'. The salon set my expectations that the colour would take a three hour session prior to initially being seen. I had also been going to them for colour prior to this. I actually went to another hairdressers a week later who rectified the issue quickly. I felt so low by the way the manager spoke down to me and to his staff in front of me. The upstairs sinks also scalded my scalp twice but I didn't even mention this. Overall, lovely girls and nice flowers, but don't be fooled, the owner is clearly not open to customer feedback. Go here if you want to back someone who clearly disrespects women. It really saddens me to say this but if I don't, bullies continue to bully. All it takes for this type of behaviour to prosper, is for me to sit back and say nothing.

Asthetics is definitely highly recommended when it comes to getting the job done and a very relaxed friendly atmosphere.
