Botched Nano-needle Job…read more I had a very unfortunate experience with Eli Ross that I feel is important to share with others. After loosing most of my eyebrows due to a medical condition, I reached out to Eli Ross for nano-needling. Since her schedule was fully booked, the receptionist recommended another technician who was supposedly fully trained by Eli. I went ahead and spent a total of $633.33, and drove all the way from Ottawa for what I thought was an experienced professional. I asked for very natural looking hair strokes, but what I got were HUGE, solid coloured eyebrows - no hair strokes. On top of that, one was way larger than the other and had a completely different shape. I looked absolutely ridiculous. But the staff kept assuring me it looked great, and would look totally different once it healed. After a few weeks, nothing had changed, I tried calling her office multiple times but Eli would never return my calls. Finally, I went to another eyebrow professional in Ottawa for a consultation who straight up told me it was a botched job, that the technician went so deep that it was like a real tattoo and would not fade, and that different sized eyebrows obviously isn't something that heals over time. I emailed this information to Eli's staff, and only then did Eli return my calls - this was four months later. Eli agreed that it had gone wrong and agreed to pay for laser tattoo removal treatments. She would only pay for treatments at a place in Montreal where she got a discount. This meant me driving back and forth from Ottawa to Montreal and taking time off work. It is now nearly a year later, I've had two laser treatments, and I am still left with huge red marks around my eyebrows. I emailed Eli to ask for a refund. I will still have to pay for additional laser removal out of my own pocket in Ottawa. And once it is removed, I would not feel comfortable going back to her (or anyone) to get the procedure again. I also paid up front for the touch-up appointment that I never received. Eli called me today to say that she doesn't have to refund me anything. She admits it was a mistake, but apparently feels comfortable keeping my $633.33, because the waiver I signed before the initial appointment says "no refunds". I am now waiting to hear back about discussing this further but I am not optimistic.

Last year my sweety bought me a spa day for xmas from this salon. I went for the treatment which…read moreincluded a facial, a body wrap, massage and mani pedi.. The services were great and I became a fan of this place immediately. After checking on what other services they provide, I came across the lash extention option. I have done this in the past with others service providers and was suprised to see that they offer the service at 150$ for initial visit then 50$ for upkeep appointments, (I had always been charged 250$ and 100$), so I took the chance and got the lashes. Nancy is the lash girl, and she is absolutely adorable, reliable, super accomadating and available, and she does a very good job. I highly recommend this place for this service, it is less expensive and she does a good job, I have also used their services for a mise en plis, and have been quite happy. Another plus for this place is that they have these VIP evenings for their clients every now and again, to have an information session (the event usually has some food and wine and prizes and gifts), which is a really nice way to show their clients they care. This is a salon/school, and you can choose the person pro or student, which can mean saving some money. The salon is very bright and clean, and in a great easy access location on Prince Arthur. If you or anyone you know is looking for some TLC spa services, at an affordable price, this should be your first stop.
