I got an awesome scalp massage as she worked her way all the way down to my toes. The oils were lavender, the room smelled great and the table was heated which made it very warm and relaxing. The packages can't be beat. We were in town for a half marathon and the last time we did one, we were in a lot of pain the days following. Decided to see if a massage would make a difference. Boy did it! The next day I felt great. We got sports massages which really worked our muscles. It hurt so good while I was getting it and I feel fine the next day. Also got an express facial, foot massage (great goodness) and our hands dipped in paraffin which left them so soft. While we waited we could take advantage of a foot massage machine. Can't recommend them enough.

This is a pre-COVID review…read more The Senses spa is very nice. My sister and I surprised our mom for mother's day with a trip. The amenities are good too. The nails are beautiful and it is the only place that officially can do Disney designs. I didn't get gel so the designs didn't stay on as long as my mom and sister's nails. They both seemed happy with how long their nails lasted. It is pricey (but of course, it's Disney) so it's not something I would recommend doing for every trip.

I imagine all resorts on Disney property are a bit over the top. Senses has beautiful facilities, and though I only saw a steam room, no sauna, the heated lounge seats by the jacuzzi make up for it. In terms of snacks, this ain't the Ritz, but there are some trail mix goodies in the quiet area. And the day pass at the Ritz is double this cost here... so, this lady right here had herself some trail mix after that. Overall, staff was lovely, facilities were healing.

I did the back scrub add on and it was the best part of the massage. My masseur was good, but she wasn't consistent. I felt a little uneven and she barely applied pressure anywhere other than my back. She did find a knot in my shoulder and massage it out, which was great. I'd definitely come back and try another masseur because my partner had a great experience.

She took the time to ask about my scalp, hair, skin concerns, and any sensitivities (I have a tender scalp and can start tearing up), which immediately put me at ease. The experience itself was a complete dream. I melted into serenity from the moment she began. Along with the head spa service, she incorporated a relaxing neck and hand massage that tied everything together beautifully. Cristina joked that I wouldn't want to wash my hair for a week, and honestly... I see exactly what she meant. My hair flowed beautifully for days. The entire service felt luxurious, thoughtful, and genuinely restorative. I unlocked a new favorite. I can't wait to go back - and plan to soon.

The attendant was out of the room more than she was in the room. She actually took 2 phone calls during my session and 2 other times another person came in the room to talk. Usually your neck, shoulders and décolleté is included. Not so in this case. Usually a hand massage is also included. She rubbed my arms and skimmed the top of my hands. I should have known this was not a class act when she asked for payment up front. The rooms were so small she bumped into the table every time she got up. At one point she half sat on the bed to look at a machine or products she needed. She was not prepared and I laid on the bed for 10 minutes before she came in.

Upon arrival, 2-3 mins after my appt time the door was locked. I called the number and spoke to a woman who was friendly but had such a strong accent, it was difficult to understand her at times. She explained that she wasn't able to help me for whatever reason; asked me to wait until whoever could would eventually come back. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I went into my car and reviewed Groupon and my emails to see if I missed something. To my astonishment, the Groupon was somehow already mark as used! Even though I had yet to even step foot in the building, let alone receive what I paid for. I reached out to Groupon and am hoping to get a refund or at least a credit for another spa. This place just feels like a scam! I am extremely frustrated.
