Came here with my girlfriends for a Spa Day. We arrived at our scheduled time, paid for our services (massage), and waited for someone to take us to the backroom. I wish I remembered everyone's names that helped us. From the front desk, the workers in the back (who took our photos), and my massage therapist, thank you for your customer service. The Spa at Harrah's was such a treat for us! We lucked out and reserved a "Happy Hour Friday" massage BEFORE they raised the pricing. We were locked in at $99- they raised it to $119 - what a steal! Located on the 4th floor, the actual spa is kind of hidden behind the gym which was kind of cool. The lady at the front desk was super nice and showed us all the facilities we were able to take advantage of. The spa common room was very relaxing as it was dimmed and lit by (fake) candles while soft music was playing. There was a water/tea station and a big couch. We sat there for about 10 minutes before our technicians came and got us. The massage was great! One of the best ones I've experienced cause she actually listened to where my paint points were. We spent about 3-5 min discussing where I had the most stress and she actually focused on those spots. That came as a surprise to me cause I've been to places where they ask, but they didn't really listen. The massage bed was heated and when she wrapped me up, it felt really great on my muscles. My only complaint would be was to maybe use a different detergent on the sheets... I was laying face down for a while and I started smelling the standard detergent all hotels use for their sheets, so it kind of annoyed my nose. Not saying that the detergent they use doesn't smell good, it just wasn't easy on the nose and I get it, it's standard for EVERY hotel, but maybe for the spa sheets, it could be a little less harsh? Just something to think about. Of course you can upgrade to an "aroma therapy" massage but that doesn't really count for the sheets. The facilities: steam room, hot tub & sauna was really clean and well worth it if you liked those amentities. Anyway, the Spa at Harrah's was solid! Reason for 4 stars : Dexter , the massage therapist , was AMAZING. I purchased a Groupon for the Swedish massage and it was exactly what I wanted / needed. Whatever methods he had made such a difference and I couldn't be happier . The room was nice and calming also , always a plus to be in a peaceful atmosphere with that kind of service . If this review was based strictly on the massage , I would have given 5 stars . Reason for not giving 5 stars : the waiting room was, well, mediocre . I'm not sure why it's set up the way it is , but having the gym right beside it was awful having to hear the treadmills and people breathing heavy. Kind of takes away from the calming atmosphere that you want while waiting for your massage . Further more , the people working out would come in the room for water and then sit on the couches . Made for such an awkward time . Men sweating and gussling down water wasn't exactly what I wanted to see . Whoever set that up should really rethink the layout and get a water set up for the gym with restrictions on accessing the spa waiting room . Couples massage booked as an anniversary surprise from my wonderful husband. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived. No robes to change into or chocolates or strawberries. The reception was very nice and apologized and got some robes right away. We enjoyed a little champagne before our masseuses came in to tell us about our massage and other services offered. We declined on all the other up charges and just stuck with our relaxation massage. However the massages did not start off as relaxing due to the masseuses kept trying to upsale to us again during our massage after we had already said no thank you. When we finished our massages we noticed they ended our time 5 minutes early as well. Just kinda ruined the whole romantic relaxing feel. Finally got our chocolates at the end of our massage. All I can say is wow... I've never had a massage before, but being on vacation, and staying on site I decided to book one. I had used Ivy (Caesar's digital comcierge) to book the appointment for 8am this morning for a 50 minute Swedish Massage. I was advised to arrive 15 minutes early. I arrived maybe 20 minutes early and the man at the front desk had shown me to the men's lockerroom where a locker with a robe was. There are also towels and sandals available. I was shown the coed waiting lobby where there's a few chairs, coffee, snacks, and water. I was advised my appointment would start late due to rooms not being ready. Once I was called back, I met Adrian my massage therapist. She was very welcoming and made me feel at ease since it was my first massage. I can't recommend her enough. I have not found the entire gel as of this post. I saw Groupon offered a facial and massage for $150, so I couldnt pass it up! I was able to book a session the following day after purchasing the Groupon. When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly desk staff, who guided me through the whole process. I was walked to the mens locker room where I was presented a locker with a full robe and towels. He then guided me around the spa (small, but nice) and informed me to change into the robe and head over to the massage waiting area. Once I was ready to go, I waited in the nice lounge where water and relaxing music played. At 10am, I was promptly greeted by my massage therapist Angel. He directed me to a room and provided me next steps. Once I was ready to go, he came in and asked of any trouble areas and sensitive areas. He then went at it. The massage was ok, but I am used to deep tissues. Well worth the price. After the massage, I made my way back to the waiting area where I waited for my facial. Never having one, I had no clue what to expect. Shortly after, Monica came out and escorted me to her room. Being my first time, she guided me through the whole process to make me comfortable. She first placed a steam machine on my face to open my pores us. It was WONDERFUL after inhaling all of the smoke from the casinos. She then went through a series of scrubs and other wet products. I was in heaven!! She was simply amazing! I never knew a facial involved a shoulder, chest, and face massage! I enjoyed my facial 10x more than I enjoyed the massage. I was also able to carry on a conversation with her, which is not something I have experienced before in a nail salon . The nail salons I have used before. Most of them speak very little English and carry on conversations with each other instead of the clients.... Which makes for an uneasy environment read more

I went for a 50 min swedish massage and a 50 min facial package after receiving a gift certificate via Groupon which I applied towards my spa treatments. Both of them were excellent, the masseurs were very good and I was totally satisfied and felt good after my massages. They have cucumber and cranberry infused waters, I had the cranberry one it was so refreshing. This spa is smaller but cute. The dressing and locker room is connected to a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, ladies room and shower. Reminds me of a college common shower area. Lol. I did get a massage and facial. I got Adrienne as my massage therapist and she was great. A little strong on the fingers but felt great after. Relaxed and revived. We did exchanged a few tips as for being in the same industry. She is friendly, strong and efficient. I'd highly recommend her. The prices for massages here are not too steep so it is worth it. Steve worked out all of my kinks and got to muscles and trigger points I didn't know I had! My massages have been so great that I book my trips around knowing I can get an appointment with Steve. He's that good! The spa itself isn't anything to write home about in my opinion. It is dated but decent. It is small but has a jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. With that said, I'm not one to spend more than an hour or two at most using the facilities. The lady sounded APPALLED that I even dare ask her! And then she was like oh if you want pressure that's 20$ more ......I just dropped close to 200$ and you can't add more pressure? Sure I get you're not those Asian massage places that cost 20$ for an hour. I'll pay the price. But if I pay such inflated prices I expect to at least leave the place feeling some what relaxed. Yea I did not feel relaxed. My husband on the other hand who was also getting a massage I called him and he was more then pleased with the therapist he got, GREAT PRESSURE and feels super relax. And it was the other therapist that suggested I get the manager and I'm glad I did . So finally after hemming and hawing the manager said I can get the "better message" without the addition fee. Made a reservation at 1030 and requested a female therapist. I made the reservation about a week ago online. I get a call the day of my appointment saying they didn't see my note about wanting a female therapist and that they can change my appointment to 1100 when one becomes available. I said no problem. I was told to wait in the lobby area 5 minutes prior (10:55). No one shows up. I call the check in desk with a phone they have in the spa. They said the therapist will be right there. It is now 11:15 and no one is here as I'm writing this. Paid for an 80 min massage from 11:00 to 12:20. Looks like I'm not going to get one. So unprofessional. read more

This review is solely for the spa, not the services. My boyfriend and I needed to relax from a long Saturday night so we decided to get a day pass for a spa, without spending too much money. So we found that it was only $10 for the whole day per person to use the gym, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and showers. The front desk and those that worked there were very nice and helpful. The facility was just not really made for those that wanted to just relax. Note: you don't get a robe if you don't get any services. The bathrooms and locker room are nice. I didn't use the sauna or steam room, but I did use the jacuzzi. But the room only had one lounge chair that you could lie down in and two regular chairs. So this lady was sleeping in that chair for a good three hours and never got up. I really just wanted to nap, but there was nowhere really to lie down. Plus, there weren't any rooms to just relax. So I decided to take a shower, but the lights of the first stall wouldn't turn on. The second stall had a shower that was very difficult to turn on that we had to have employees turn it on later. The last stall was a handicap stall, but didn't seem like it was meant for a spa and lost its modern, clean look. So these facilities are mainly for people who want to work out that don't need a shower, for those that get services, or those that get there early and hog the only bed. Or just don't be that person that hogs the bed the whole day. I would've given two stars, but for the cheap price, you basically pay for what you get. booked a massage while staying here on vacation, and while the massage itself was fine, the whole spa experience was significantly lacking, especially for the price. To be fair, I did not use the sauna/hot tub etc. The check in desk is fancy but located in the same area as the gym. I was taken through a weird side door to the hallway where the massage rooms were. the rooms were very basic, not updated. Sheets were low quality and scratchy. No warming feature on the table. the receptionist level of service needs to change. no communication or form of way to let the guest know of what to expect. my massage therapist cindy did amazing and she definitely turned my experience around. upon entrance, a simple hello would even work. management needs to coach their team with customer experience when people pay over $100 for each service. there was 3 people in the front not doing anything upon exiting the facility. perception matters if Harrahs wants to stay open because theres a lot of other spas that are killing it. I got a "50" min Swedish massage When I called to book. They told me to be there at 11. I get there at 11. And all of a sudden I'm being told my massage was supposed to start at 11. THey take me to the back show me around, explain all the amenities down to the shower Shoes and lockers, prepare me for the massage and take me on back. The massage therapist immediately starts trying to upsell me. I politely tell her the Swedish is all I need for today. I told her if she could please concentrate on my neck and shoulders. She then tries to upsell me again, and tells me it's a full body massage and she can't concentrate on specific areas. As she starts massaging me she starts talking to me asking me what I do for a living, trying to upsell me again, and throughout the whole massage telling me how tight my whole back is and how I should upgraded. The massage ended which seemed fairly quick. I looked at the clock and only 40 minutes had gone by. I asked about the 50 minutes and she stated I was late! When I leave to check out I explained to the front desk lady that my massage was only 40 minutes instead of the 50, and was never told the massage starting at 11, I was just told over the phone to be there at 11. The lady was really nice but all she said was "oh I'm sorry" and smiled.. Most important, $200 was stolen out of my wallet which was locked in the locker that I was assigned upon check-in. I'll provide more details shortly as to why I am sure that the theft was committed by an employee. I made a last minute appointment for my girlfriend and I, as I had some winnings from the craps table the night before and we both needed to recover from the weekend in Vegas. Harrah's was the closest spa that had availability on such short notice so we jumped at the opportunity. Upon entering the casino we asked a security officer where the spa was located (I believe he was the security operations trainer) and he personally escorted us to the spa. I felt that was a great touch, and it helped us out as the spa was very far from where we had entered the casino. The receptionists at the spa were friendly and helped us check-in quickly. They asked how I wanted to pay, and I first mentioned by credit card. They were about to accept my payment, but I quickly decided to pay with cash, as I had about $675 (which I counted before arriving) in cash from my gambling during the weekend. As soon as I pulled out a few $100 bills they quickly asked me to pay after the treatments(odd, eh?). We were given lockers in exchange for our IDs and were led into the locker rooms. I made sure to lock my wallet in the locker since I had so much cash on hand. I proceeded to my treatment room with my massage therapist and made sure to keep the key with me at all times. The massage was overall good, not the best I have had, but certainly worth the money. I was offered a peppermint foot massage upgrade and that definitely helped my feet recover from all of the walking. Afterward I spent some time in the jacuzzi and the steam room, which I both enjoyed. I showered, dressed and proceeded to pay at the reception desk. I paid for the treatment, but noticed that of the 6 $100 bills I came in with, I only had 4. I mentioned this to the receptionist and at the time the manager walked in. I told her that I was missing money asked if there were other keys to the lockers. She pointed to a large ring of keys hanging freely at the desk and said the master key was on this ring. I asked about a key check-out log and she had none. She even mentioned that the keys were kept at the desk because they had cameras on the desk and they had many theft issues in the past. I asked to report this theft to the security team, but she called and was informed that it would take about 15 minutes for an officer to arrive. We had to leave to catch a flight home so I later phoned in a report to their team. The officer I spoke with on the phone was very nice and sympathetic and informed me that their risk management team would get in touch with me after they reviewed the case. I am still waiting for a response. I am very suspicious about the fact that the receptionist asked me to wait to pay after seeing that I had a large amount of cash. Also that they didn't take everything from my wallet and left me with enough to pay for my treatments. The keys hanging at the desk with no real security was also suspicious as any employee could take the keys or make a copy for their use later. The manager was not even in charge of the keys! Make your own conclusions, but I am outraged that this happened! read more

I woke up on Sunday with a stack of hundreds in my wallet and thought I had a huge night on the blackjack table, so I treated myself like royalty the next six hours before catching a flight out. Monday, I checked my ATM withdrawals. Crap. In between though, I indulged in a lovely massage at Harrah's (we happened to be right near it when the massage bug hit) to try to quell some of my hangover symptoms. It was rather successful, as my masseuse was great (they used to be a sports physical therapist) and everyone was incredibly friendly. Had I wanted to stay longer, the location provided an included spa area with hot tub and steam room, a nice touch. For reference, I spent $115 (I believe) for a 50-minute session. I loved the added touch of the eucalyptus and lavender essential oils that made it feel like an extra special experience. All the products she used were gentle and smelled so good, and I upgraded to try the Nuface toning to my treatment and it was really cool. I've had a couple massages so I knew what to expect. My gf was a virgin so I was hoping for a great experience for her. Upon arriving I explained that I was responsible for both massages and my gf was not to given a receipt. We had to wait some time in the locker room. My gf went with her masseuse before I. As soon as I arrived in my room and was instructed how she wanted me to proceed I noticed the receipt. It was only mine. I told her she had to go find my gf's because she was not going to put in a position to feel responsible. I don't understand why this was an issue. The masseuse used WAY too much oil. In my experience they use oil/lotion as needed. Mine lathered my back, arms and neck before starting. I felt like a Sunday Roast. About half way through the massage, I started to enjoy the experience but I don't know that i was worth the money. I've had better. Next time I'm in Vegas, I'll probably try another Spa. read more

The facial by Susie was nice. The massage by Steve was also nice. Some parts look newly updated. In the ladies spa area there is NO LOUNGE area- which was uncomfortable IMHO. There is a locker room area with 2 large benches which is really the ONLY place to sit unless you want to sit on the couches (more like patio furniture) that surround the hot tub. Also you HAVE to pay for parking. They do NOT validate. I got there at 12:45pm & went to leave at 3:09pm & the cost was $9. That also took away from the experience for me. Lastly. If you want to pay cash for parking the only machines that take cash for parking are located on the 1st floor of the parking garage. FYI read more

To put things in perspective of what I am accustomed to, I get free access to a casino spa in Biloxi that is both immaculately clean, relaxing, has a rock/waterfall hot tub, arctic room, the works, etc. I knew before going that this was an older property. However, I had a good experience at an older sister property. The Harrah's Vegas spa hot tub was not clean. It was extremely hot, and they don't have a cold option (no cold plunge or arctic). Because of the heat I was slow getting in, fortunately as it turns out. First I noticed the grout stains, but I told myself it's an older property and different colors among the grout is not necessarily dirt. Second, I noticed the sand feeling under my feet, but this was on the first couple steps .... sooo I wasn't totally grossed out yet. Third and Fourth, what looked like a blue pill capsule on bottom and some clotted looking dirt circulating around a bottom corner from a jet eddy. I couldn't just do something other than the hot tub because: A. Despite my free entry as a Diamond member they reserve robes for people with services, their sister properties still give me a robe and it's important to me being comfortable and B. If the hot tub, which is easily inspected, is dirty I do but trust the cleanliness of a steam room. They didn't seem to have any services going on, the place was very empty, and this was Mother's Day. I feel a little bad writing a bad review for a place I got into for free with my diamond card, but their are soo many choices in Vegas I feel people should be warned to go elsewhere.
