    STAY AWAY! Only giving 1 star because I can't give zero. They are not sanitary and the technician…read moresaid that to me, exactly. I had a mani/pedi scheduled and the mani was lovely. They stopped during the pedicure and said I had a split in my nail and asked if I stubbed one of my toes. I said yes and then she had 2 other people come look and they said that because they weren't sure it was not a fungus, they could not go any further. I told them there was no way it was but they REFUSED to do anything and left me with nail polish rubbed off and onto all over toes. When I asked if they could just use a different set of tools, the manager or supervisor, or whoever, told me that they are not equipped with the right sanitation tools to keep them separate. WHAT? Does that mean they're tools are not sanitized properly, at all? If that's not bad enough, they all scurried away like I had leperacy or something. SO RUDE! This franchise would NEVER make it in the United States!!! Another thing to note is that they "certify" their own staff, according to what I was told. In looking into this further, I can't even tell if they're accredited. What was even worse is that during my research, I found that they are SEXIST! They REFUSE to perform any waxing or laser services on men. How preposterous. Will never go back nor would I recommend anyone to go there.

I fell asleep during the pedicure. Great comfy chair, tilted back and I was given a blanket; boom! I fell asleep! Ha! And Brooke did my braid for me before we went out to dinner. Love Brooke! She did my hair last year as well. Now while mom was getting a service done I paid for 5 massages + tip money. I asked them to call mom in June for a massage then surprise her that it's all paid for. End of June rolled around and mom hasn't told me she's had a massage. I called and left a VM. Someone called me back and stated they didn't have mom's info?! What?! How is that possible when we filled out the client info sheets?! Let alone that I could have sworn that was given when I purchased the massages. Fine, here's her info. I was disappointed about that. Mom has been enjoying the massages and still loves Martha! I called in last week to book mom a spa day for her birthday which is tomorrow. When the lady asked for mom's name, I said Mary C. Oh she's the cutest thing! She's so lovely! So I'm happy to hear that she's been going in and she's so memorable. I called mom and said: your services are paid for, I hope you book the services on your birthday! Happy 76th birthday Ma! Only $85/hr for an RMT massage, which is really reasonable, considering you get the spa experience + massage. I was also asked to choose two Aveda essential oils, from a lrg collection which were used during the massage. Absolutely five stars!

    I booked an appointment at Sherwood styling salon to go blonde just this last Thursday. I showed…read morethe girl a picture of what I wanted, and she asked me if I wanted an ashy blonde or a honey blonde, I asked for a honey blonde. I also told her that I had wanted blonde underneath as well because it was all my natural color. She asked me if I had a budget, I said, "Not really, but how much do you think it'll cost?" She said around $150, and I said I was okay with that. As she finished up the foils, I asked her, "Did you put any foils underneath?" She said yes. Later on she took the foils out and put toner in. It was only in for a few minutes and she washed it out. She barely spoke with me and would put my head up and down without saying anything. She seemed very much in a rush as she was doing my hair, as she had a last minute appointment that came up and she had to leave earlier than expected. Another person would have to step in to dry and style my hair (which I had no problem with), the girl that stepped in later on gave me better service than the original hairstylist. Once my hair was dry I told the other hairstylist that I wasn't happy with my hair, that there was no blonde underneath at all. She said she would pass the message on to the original hairstylist and she would call me back. I then left. The next day I called back and I said I wasn't happy with the blonde I had and I expected more underneath as per what I asked. She said she could book me in next week and she could fix it up but that I would have to pay more. I agreed but I wasn't content with that answer so I went in today to tell them that I didn't get the shade of blonde I wanted plus I got no blonde underneath and that I felt it was unfair I had to pay more money to come in again when I didn't get what I wanted the first time. The manager was quite unprofessional. She told me that this hairstylist was not in a rush and wouldn't have given me a color I didn't ask for. Which couldn't be further from the truth. She looked at the picture and tried to tell me that it looked like the picture and told me if I wanted to come back I would have to pay for more foils. She also told the other hairstylist that she did my hair within my budget however that isn't what happened. I didn't have a budget. The longer I spoke to her she became increasingly unprofessional, she dismissed all my concerns and made me feel that I was at fault for what had happened. I have had a bad experience here before where I had to go back to get it redone again. I thought trying a different stylist with more experience would make this more pleasant experience but I couldn't be anymore wrong. I would never recommend this place to anyone, they had awful customer service and I got nothing that I asked for. The only good part of this experience was I got the haircut that I wanted. Now I decided to cancel my fix up appointment, I don't see why I would pay a company more money when I wasn't happy with the service the first time. Now i booked at a better known hair stylist in PEI, and I'm going to have to invest even more money to make my hair the way it was supposed to be. This place was just not it for anyone who was looking for a kind and respectful hairstylist. Down believe is a picture of what I wanted vs what I got.

I called and spoke to the manager who advised that I shouldn't have left if I was unhappy and told her that it didn't matter when I called I wanted it fixed. they ended up having to cut my hair way shorter than I wanted and now it grows very unevenly because of this girl who didn't even respect my wishes and do what I ask!!!! never again will I grace their doors.
