The Great Canadian Soap Company is located on Highway 6 in Oyster Bed Bridge. It's about 35 minutes from Charlottetown or 45 from Summerside. It's worth the drive and you'll probably drive right past it on your way to Brackley Beach. Their soaps are all made in-house with milk drawn from the goats on the property. Yes, you can feed and pat the goats! They have scents for men and women so don't think this is just a place for girls (there are also unscented products). Apart from soap, they have lotions, oils, lip balms, salves, shaving creams, and scrubs. The place smells wonderful! They have gift boxes (including a particularly stellar one for athletes) when you can't make up your mind what to get as a hostess gift, and seasonal shapes (Santas at Christmas, bunnies at Easter). They ship all over North America and if you sign up for their mailing list, you'll hear about special shipping deals, like the occasional free shipping offers. Make sure you let the soap dry for a month so it won't dissolve so quickly. Fresh soap melts in hot water!

They worked really hard to get us an appointment as they said the Friday walk-ins can be very busy, with people lining up before opening.
