This is a small massage shop owned and operated by Ms. Yan who is an amazing individual! She was a…read moreCPA in China that emigrated here and because she felt her English was inadequate, she put herself through LMT school and is now a therapist. The cool thing is she incorporates all the Chinese lore and naturopathic healing into her massage technique and the result is MIND-BLOWING! I had a bad fall off my bike about three weeks ago and when I was traveling through I asked around to find out who was the best, and everyone told me about her; and she is the best. Ms. Yan doesn't just massage you she addresses your problems. If you tell her that you are specifically hurting in certain areas she will address those areas with an intensity and if you ask for it will apply Chinese herbal medicine and wraps when she's finished massaging you. These extras do cost a little more but it's because it costs her to order them from China so it's understandable and well worth it. If your hurting with a muscular issue or if you just need a great massage, go see Ms. Yan at the Wellness Massage, you will thank yourself later!

The decor is light and put me at ease with it's Eastern-minimalist feel. The spa menu is simple: massage, facial or body exfoliation. 1 hour is $80, which is reasonable compared to the casino spas. The massage was a mix of shiatsu, deep tissue, Swedish and Reflexology.......heaven!! The masseuse used a very light oil that left my skin glowing. Warm towels were applied to the massaged area and a hot dryer eliminated any stickiness, which is very common in this humidity! I plan on returning soon and trying the Japanese facial and facial massage!! ($60) **Another plus is this spa stays open later than 6 (8 or 9pm), which allows me time to go home and shower after work and arrive for my massage feeling clean and relaxed!
