I had a medical problem and made an appointment on Thursday for the following week. It got worse on Saturday, so I went to the emergency room, was admitted to the hospital and missed the appointment. Now, they want to charge me for missing the appointment. I explained my situation to the front desk attendant. I got no follow-up. I called the business office. A machine answered the phone. They call you back. Hasn't happened yet. The customer service is terrible. They should be ashamed of the way they treat people. I don't recommend them.

Her lack of diligence delayed the proper diagnosis and the start of treatment. However the customer experience was great. Clean office, charismatic and friendly people. I went in for lingering congestion and a cough after a cold I had about a week and a half ago. They think it's bronchitis. They gave me a steroid shot, and a prescription for a plethora of antibiotics and steroids for the next week, along with an albuterol inhaler for the wheezing. They were much kinder, efficient, and thorough than any FL urgent care I've been to. In FL, there's sometimes a cheaper $100-ish cost to get into the clinic, and then an additional bill sent to your home weeks later. This clinic assured me that the $210 I paid upfront will be the only bill I have to pay, aside from the prescriptions from Publix. That was a huge relief, also.

It is a clinic not a doctor's office, so I accept that there is often a long wait time. But when I am with a doctor, he gives me his full attention and does not seem to rush me so I'm willing to wait. I've learned to bring a book or something to do and I don't schedule anything else for the day I go to Reagan because I never know what time I'll come home. I went from 5 stars to 3 because I've spent all day Trying to get a message to my doctor despite several calls, voicemails, etc. And have not been successful. I have had this problem before. I saw my doctor yesterday and we talked about several different issues which required medication but the first one was sciatica pain, and he was going to call something in for that. But evidently forgot which he's human so OK. I have been trying to call Reagan @ Five Forks all day, starting at 8:30 thru 4:45. And when you call reagan be prepared for a several minute message before telling you what number to push. And it tries to get you to go to their website for making appointments, getting refills and leaving messages. However, neither their website nor the Healow app has any way to leave a message. There is a way for them to leave you a message but no way for you to get in touch with your doctor with any questions or in my case asking my doctor to send something in for sciatica. I received a text the day before my appointment asking me to check in ahead of time. So I clicked the link and filled out the usual check in forms. when I got to the clinic, they said it was broken and I had to do it again on their electronic pad. so therefore I do not trust the website. I made four or five phone calls today. One time I pushed the key for leaving a message for the nurse and I ended up getting somebody that was a scheduler at a completely different location whose English was not very good and had never even heard of sciatica. And argued with me. I mean all I'm asking is to get a message to my doctor. Around 4:30 this afternoon I placed my last and probably fifth phone call. All for sciatic pain which is so simple. I got a very friendly person who, despite my calling the five Forks location worked at a completely different location and was the scheduler as well. However, she was the friendliest one I've spoken to all day long. She asked me to hold as she was going to follow up on this. But after 15 minutes of nobody getting back on the phone I hung up. She had pulled up my record so obviously she had my phone number and I sort of thought she would call me back, but she did not. This is the only negative review I've ever written re Reagan. I've been seeing my primary care doctor (dr George Rafeedie 5) for probably 6 to 8 years. Dr. Rafeedie is excellent. It's just that it takes an act of God to get a message to him. So tomorrow I will have to go to the Suwanee urgent care, which is closer to me to see if I can get something for my sciatica pain. I've read several negative reviews commenting that the front desk people seem uninterested or are not working. I can't really speak to that. I know they see a lot of people and sometimes people can be difficult with them so they probably have their guard up. It is a walk-in clinic after all. but behind that door is where the real work happens. The doctors, nurses, and PAs and whoever else back there are working hard, but they're also laughing with each other and clearly like their work $ their colleagues. So if it wasn't for the inability to get a message to your doctor, which I have experienced before, I'd go back to 5 stars.

His Nurse Practitioner (The name escapes me) is great and is very thorough in the pre-procedure interview. He has found polyps in my colon as well as my wife's. We are grateful to have such a great doctor so close to home here in Lawrenceville. I saw some other reviews about his staff but they must have rectified that because not one person was out of order to with either of us over the years. I would recommend Dr Tanner to anyone who is looking for a great doctor with an up-to-date, state-of-the art facility and great staff.
