I genuinely enjoy shopping at Dick's Sporting Goods, including this location--so why the one-star…read morereview? Because as a golfer, I absolutely dread visiting the golf department. There is a thin woman with a raspy voice who works in (or manages) that department, and every interaction with her is unpleasant. She's consistently rude, dismissive, and acts as if any basic question is an interruption. If she's folding clothes and you ask for help, she reacts as though you're inconveniencing her. On multiple visits, I've asked about a single club regrip while I shop, and she responds with visible annoyance and a rundown of how busy she supposedly is--only for me to return 10 minutes later and find her chatting with coworkers. I've had other Dicks employees regrip a club for me in less than 10 minutes. She is, frankly, a terrible representative for Dick's Sporting Goods, and her attitude is the primary reason I will not be returning to this store.

It's funny because the hotel dwelling feels "mountainy" on the outside; instead of beachy. The golf course looks amazing but since I'm not a golfer, I'm going to address the pool, hotel, pool club dining area, and hotel restaurant. Pool is big, fun, and great for families. However, it and the restaurant attached close at 8pm. Hmmmmm. It does't get dark in Florida til after 9pm in the summer, so this seems off. Food and space at the eating area by the pool; fun, tasty, and staff are on top of it. (The staff are a bunch of young kids working for the summer and it was nice to be around their energy.) The restaurant and bar area in the hotel is ... "yikes". The lighting is harsh and too yellow. The decor and "feel" reminds me of an 80's, Ramada Inn reception area. I don't know what else to say except that it was so discomforting that we couldn't stay. Work out facility is top notch.
