We came to Aspire Kids from another gym because my son didn't like that there were no other boys in his classes. My son started in the Mighty Mites program at age 5, and after a year moved into competitive gymnastics. He has competed for 3 years now with the Junior SunDevils, and we couldn't be more pleased with his training and coaches. During COVID lockdowns, we were offered free Zoom training, and we were able to schedule virtual private lessons for my son to continue to progress. Switching to training in the day group this past year has improved my son's training and competition experience and outcome even more. The one aspect I have enjoyed as a parent with Jr SunDevils is the rapport and support among athletes and families. I have heard of a lot of drama in other sports or gyms, and not having to deal with that has been great. Parent support is great, and I have enjoyed getting to know other team families. I'm a big fan of Aspire Kids, and the boys' team. I can't speak for the girls' program or others, but we spend a lot of hours there, and my kid is happy to be there. I'm grateful to be a part of Aspire Kids Sports!

The session takes about 45 mins and every 15 mins, they will rotate the spot which makes the kids more active and very focus without feeling bored. Trust me; they don't even feel that they're doing it for that long. They also offer Ninja classes ( 4 years old +) and more. I called Thursday inquiring about getting my 21 month old in for classes. He's Not been exposed to anything really because of stupid Covid. So here we are trying to get him involved so he can learn communication, interaction, direction, and relationships. My phone call to get info was great. The gal I spoke w set me up w his first "free" class after I filled out online forms. I called three times and each time I spoke w the same person who was so helpful and so awesome. By my third call I apologized...she was so welcoming! The third time I called was to ask if spectators were allowed because his Noni and Nono wanted to see him interact w others and see how he was in his first class. He went on a 10am Saturday "Mover" class and loved it. Teacher was awesome Class size was under 10 It was well worth the price! All places have at least one negative review which I typically relate to someone that's not normal This place is pretty awesome based on our first time and the few phone calls I made to them asking questions. The other instructors and lifeguard casually adjusted their classes to make sure the baby got to be comforted in the pool and the other kids in class still got their training in. The staff were…read morealways nice, coaches were knowledgeable but I'm finding it hard to give this gym even a 4 star rating. 3 1/2 stars would be fair imo. Here's why: After moving to a different area we uprooted our girls from DB Gymnastics to a different competing gym. My girls now 7 & 5 yrs old couldn't even do a back handspring and little one couldn't even do a back walkover. The new competing gym had my girls doing these moves in less than 2 months proficiently for my oldest and 6 months for my little one. The new gym begins working on these moves at a much earlier age than DB gymnastics. I also noticed the difference in coaching between the two gyms. DB was good but obviously not nearly as hands-on as new gym. Overall, our family had a good experience with DB Gymnastics but after comparison my girls could've gotten a lot more out of it.

Since parents have to sit behind a window, we can help direct our kiddo. Either shorten the class sizes, have more "coaches" with the younger ones, or allow a parent-tot class where parents can help guide their kid.
