Went in to test Drive Expedition Limited Stock #s 241459 242200 identical trim packages (2024 USED Courtesy Vehicles both w/ 3K miles +/- each) trying to sell as new vehicles. Lie #1 Dealt with Chris H, nice enough guy. But then you get Ryan involved and the bait and switch begins never honoring the price listed on the dealer website, in fact raising the price up and down 4 times this Friday, so we walked out said we will think about it. As we were leaving I reminded Ryan you have 34 Expeditions on your lot, I don't need to buy one, we explained this to you all in the beginning of the conversation. Spoke with Chris H.through text his last line read "We will not miss your business". So I texted him back and simply asked do you really mean that last line? His response (without reading back) I never say anything I don't mean". I replied, Really you meant "We will not miss your business". Took him a day but I guess maybe someone read it to him or maybe he actually go it - We went back in Friday - and Chris H.was busy so we started working with Elijah, always stating we don't want Chris H.to miss out and we don't want a 1K car payment, again enters Ryan to mess up the deal, First Elijah went back and forth twice then Ryan two more times, Ryan must think people are stupid and can't read, don't have a memory of the previous encounter or how many times he keeps changing the price on the vehicle. the vehicles were listed on their website as 65571 and 65759 (Remember these are both Courtesy Vehicles Considered Used 2024 with +/- 3K miles on them (advertised on their website with less miles) that was Lie #2. They jacked the price at one time to over 91K what the are they thinking. They say you can't have the website price and a low interest rate, I am calling Bull (you know what) these guys are full of garbage, bait and switch tactics at the highest level. A good salesman wants the sale and will make anything happen including listening and hearing your customer (which Ryan lacks in both aspects). A customer can have both - but when you are a greedy dealership - you just keep baiting and switching the price up. When I first met these salesmen (I use this term loosely) 1) no payment over 1K preferably 800 at max 2) Don't want this back and forth 3) I don't need to buy 3) I have a nice vehicle with new trim and tires less than a month old 4) I want the best interest, the website price, and willing to buy your Used Courtesy Vehicle with +/- 3k miles on it 5) the website price for the fact that it is USED / NOT NEW, again non listening is the name of their game. I phoned on the weekend to discuss and Elijah answered the phone in sales - I asked to when Mr. Bonnet would be working I would like to discuss the treatment, Elijah young man, needing the sale that Ryan screwed him out of, asked if I could hold a moment then he put I don't know who and I don't care who he was, I do know his extension is 5895 he called himself the Director of Sales (titles mean nothing to me - for they are just that a title). He said would you be willing to take another vehicle that someone turns is with Buyers Remorse, let's say 20K miles or less on it - I said you do realize I offered to buy your USED Courtesy Vehicle with +/- 3k miles on it - why would I want to go up in miles - I told him this - read the Art of a Deal (read something to help you understand sales) - Understand the want and need - I wanted to buy an Expedition, but I don't need the Expedition. You Need to Sell the Expedition, because at this point you now have 37 Expeditions on your lot all/or most with the 2024 Year on them. I ended the call for I was in the store and don't have more time to waste on this nonsense. I told MR. Extension 5895, I paid cash for my King Ranch Expedition, and my husband just made a 1M deal with a hospital system - my husband went to the table with a deal, they countered, he met them in the middle and bam he landed the deal - he had no need to go back and forth so many wasteful times and ruin it - So comparing this Southwest Ford and my husband - I guess my husband understand the Art of a Deal. Buyer beware before you step in the dealership, take photos of the paperwork they bring with the continual changes in price and payment, I think the Gilchrist family, should pay more attention to their customer treatment and ratings, simply because Ryan and Ext 5895 does not. I should have read here first with all the bad reviews, but we didn't and we went and wasted our time with the bait and switch tactic - I do not need a vehicle, I wanted one - so it is very easy for people like me to walk away from this behavior and bad treatment of customers. I feel everyone needs customer service training, mostly Ryan on how not to lose a deal. It took me 3 days of calling to finally get to leave a message. Once the fleet manager returned my call, I told him what trucks I was interested in and I would pick up the next day. He said he would get the deal put together and get back to me that day. It's been 2 weeks and nothing. I can only imagine how poorly they treat customers if they won't even reply to a company that buys dozens of trucks a year. read more

Let me say I will never do business with a company that deceptively pushes a product and then not stand by it! After buying my second truck with Southwest Ford they ask me if I wanted to purchase a windshield coverage! I said no then they preceded to say it's cheap all you have to do is bring your truck back to us it's a no brainer! Is there any stipulations nope just bring it to us! I didn't even get copy of contract on the windshield policy which was strange now that I think about it! So windshield got hit by rock and crack spread so I called hey need to get wind shield replaced they said bring it in! I get there they have to do claim bring out this ruler said crack is bigger 6" we can't replace! Which sounds dumb we can replace it if it's broke but not really if it's really broke! So in saying all this they are selling an insurance scam to get peoples money and not fixing their windshield's! Deceptive trade practices is what it's called! read more

SERVICE DEPARTMENT I made a service appointment with Dietrich Sancillo, a service technician, on 10-14-24 for my 17-year-old daughter's vehicle, a 2017 Ford Fusion. The appointment was regarding some noises coming from the drivetrain/engine compartment. The vehicle has been there before numerous times for major transmission issues and the noise sounded similar to the noises we heard in the past. It was there for almost three months at one point to locate the problem. When my daughter arrived today, she said Dietrich looked at the vehicle and went for a test drive in it but could not duplicate the issue. She updated me via text. When she updated me, I told her to make sure she gets the paperwork/work order documenting that we brought the vehicle in due to the fact the Ford Factory Premium warranty is expiring on 10-20-2024 and it could be related to the past issues. She told me that Dietrich told her that there was no paperwork/work order being generated due to the fact he could not duplicate the issue. So I called in to speak to Dietrich further and get clarification about that because that did not sound right to me. Upon calling in and speaking to Dietrich, I explained the above to him. I asked if he could confirm for me what my daughter was telling me. He responded with an attitude and began telling me that we are on a recorded line. Not sure why he felt the need to go from 0-60 as I was merely asking a simple question that did not prompt him to speak to me in a disrespectful manner. So naturally, I responded the same way he was speaking to me and told him I am not going to play that Sh** about him emphasizing the recorded line. No need to be rude or disrespectful and point out to me that the line is being recorded, really??? Why??? He then cut me off and said I can just speak to a service manager. If he is going to be dealing with the public he may want to consider his delivery and approach! Because he escalated a situation that could have been resolved and avoided a complaint just by communicating in a professional manner and answering my question. It was that simple. He does not appear to be someone you want to represent you in the public's eye. In any event, I will be filing a complaint and contacting the General Manager. This could have all been avoided if Dietrich could have remained professional, answered a couple questions and treated me respectfully. read more

We recently purchased a vehicle from Southwest Ford. We had a mixed experience. We were looking to make a purchase using the Ford AZ-Plan, so pricing wasn't much of a concern since it's pretty much a set price. Our salesman was courteous enough, but the purchase process seemed to take much longer than necessary. We asked for a quote on a trade-in and the salesman can back from the sales manager's office with an offer of about 50% of the car's value. We immediately took the trade-in negotiation off the table. Hopefully, people who deal with them are smart enough to do their homework on trade-in values, otherwise they will be more than happy to rip you off. Once things went to the finance office, the lack of integrity continued. Noah Ford was the finance rep we dealt with and he blatantly attempted to slip a very costly extended service package into our contract without our authorization. When I called him out on it, he generated a b.s. excuse that made absolutely no sense. He literally sounded like a four year old who got caught robbing the cookie jar. We eventually got the numbers fixed and closed the deal and left. After my first review of their dealership and the purchase process, I was called by the finance manager who took the time to hear me out and said he would address the issue with his finance guy. At this point, no other action or apology has been received on behalf of the dealership. As customers, we are always very appreciative when we receive good service, but, when someone tries to take advantage of us, we are more than happy to share that experience with others. As icing on the cake, I went to the dealer to pick up our plates today and stopped at their parts department to pick up a set of wheel locks, only to discover they had what appeared to be a 40% mark-up on them, compared to Ford's on-line pricing. My daughter bought a 2009 ford sport tract a couple of years ago, and a few months ago the pickup started having serious problems. It was missing and loosing coolant with no visible leak. A couple of local mechanics said the head gasket was most likely the problem. We had a great reference from a family member who had used Southwest Ford for many years and said they are great and the service department is tops, so we decided to give them a try and we are super glad we did. They found the problem to be a defective head gasket and it had created major damage to the motor. Bottom line a new engine was needed. We had them order a new ford motor, long block. It took about three weeks to get the motor and install. Ryan in service called almost every day to keep us informed on the progress. When we got the truck back, it ran great and also had a three year factory warranty. It was a costly problem but I am so glad we found this dealership. Everyone in the place from Ryan in service to the women behind the desk are super, friendly and caring. We have found a home for future auto problems. I noticed some really bad reviews concerning this dealership, but my wife spent many years working for ford motor credit and she said its not at all unusual in the auto business to get complaints, but I can tell that we are 100% satisfied and will gladly use this dealership in the future. read more

Just a quick note that Trey Noah and Brian did an excellent job helping me find my 2019 F150 it's the perfect truck for me and they fit within my parameters when I thought I was going to have to go to a different dealer they let me know that they found one for me, cow in the finance department was not pushy very smooth as butter everything going on without a hitch.
