First thing.... Place signs NO SMOKING OUTSIDE ON THE PATIO AT ALL AND NO VAPING AT THE BAR! Really? It was busy with the fabulous winning of the football game and Madeline did her best and served us well. Food and pizza were okay. Calzone was bready and filling minimal. read more

Probably the worst and weirdest wings I have ever had. I should have ordered a pizza instead it looked delicious on the other table. Wings were small and fried/breaded with very little meat. Avoid the wings and go with something else as again the food other people had ordered looked good. Beer was nice and cold. read more

Ive never been to a pizza place where the ranch tasted worse than bottled ranch. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Great atmosphere and service tv's everywhere so viewing a game is spot on Side salad was almost a meal on its own and very reasonable as was their draft beer prices we ordered a house pizza came out loaded with veggies and little meat which was a disappointment personally not a lot of sauce which I did enjoy ingredient's were fresh the crust could have spent a little more time in the oven I was told the oven was wood fired so I had my expectations for more of a crispy crust all in all it warrants another visit in the future they were busy so I get the pushing it out as fast as you can but at that point another 30-45 seconds would have possibly exceeded expectations read more

When I go out to eat I do so to relax and get away from the crap of life. I dont spend my money to have FOX news blaring all of the crap in thus world on the tv screens of a sports bar. The food is good but I wont be back. read more

Southside Pizza & Pub - Best pizza!! - Pizza Near Me - Columbia, Missouri

Love their pizza! We order delivery at least once a week. They always do an awesome job catering to my Alpha Gal Syndrome. Big Moose with no cheese and no pepperoni And they always load on the toppings! read more

We love this place--the pizza is better than most places in Columbia! They also have a good variety of sandwiches and salads and stuff (haven't tried the burger yet). Yummy fries. It's nice inside, I think it's been remodeled in the past couple years? Anyway it's a nice pub atmosphere, clean and with tons of tvs if sports is your thing. The service has always been friendly inside, and when we get to-go orders our food has always been hot and ready when promised. This is a good place to go to lunch with the kids, or ditch them later and get pizza and a beer for dinner. I'm sure it's fun if games are on that you like, plenty of screens all around! read more

Southside has been my go to place for good pizza, cold beer, and plenty of sports action to choose from. The service is always good and their prices are decent. read more

Best for game days. Pizza, burgers and service were great. My go to place for food and atmosphere. TV's everywhere with sound.

Best strawberry cheesecake ever! Excellent service. The house pizza was also delicious.

Outstanding service and food (pizza and a salad) at SouthSide pizza! We were here is the Columbia area riding cycles on the Katy Trail. Our camp host suggest the delivery service that is offered and we took her up on it! After a small SNAFU we needed to visit the actual restaurant the following day. Because of the SNAFU we had to come into town anyway to purchase new equipment that was damaged to continue our journey. The owner, by the name of Mousa, would not return phone calls or meet with us in person to settle up an expense that was incurred. He would NOT return phone calls yet he had the time to relay through Youen (the manager) that we needed to deal with the 17 year old delivery driver to settle up on a $380 bill. What a coward of a man, hiding behind employees and not taking responsibility. Mousa would not make amends however the 17 year old employee and manger went out of their way to do the right thing. I would suggest Mousa take a lesson from these two outstanding employees on customer service. Due to the time we spent resolving this issue is why I am leaving one star rating. May S@$t roll up hill this time. read more

Sausage and mushroom pizza was about $14 which is average for medium pizza. The taste of the crust was flavorless but the toppings were tasty. The atmosphere is fun and TV screens planning for to watch all your favorite games. read more

Southside Pizza & Pub - I got a sausage pizza, the crust is flavorless. - Pizza Near Me - Columbia, Missouri

I have never eaten at Southside before. I didn't know what to expect, but I knew they had pizza and sandwiches. My wife and I ordered a pizza and a sandwich. The pizza was $27 for a 14 inch large pizza. The crust was mediocre at best, and the toppings or flavorless and inadequate. In addition, the sauce was not flavorful at all. The sandwich was the smallest sandwich I have ever seen. It was perhaps six bites. It was nine dollars, and not worth half of that. The service was good, and the waitress was friendly. Needless to say, we will not be returning to southside. The food was totally inadequate, not very good, and small portions. read more

The pizza, gyro, and mushrooms I ordered tasted like they were not seasoned, bland. No type of flavor.

Good place for late night food! Pizza, burgers, fried mushrooms, etc. works great when you're sick of Mexican or fast food.

I honestly don't enjoy going to the physical establishment, just personal preference. However, I've had consistent awesome experiences with their food and delivery! Late at night when you assume places will short you on quality, Southside always exceeds my expectations. If you're debating after your night out just do it! Phenomenal pizza and apps! Also adding the drivers have always been very nice and professional. And I appreciate how all my special instructions have always been acknowledged!! read more

Great pizza and awesome salads. Open 7 days a week. Clean and welcoming. Daily specials.

Delicious pizza but they messed up one of them. I like how when you order with peppers, it is not just green peppers, but also yellow and orange. Unique. Their garlic cheese bread is really, the crust almost melts in your mouth. read more

Let me start by saying we really like this place. Great pizza and atmosphere. We did have a glitch with the chicken Greek salad. Having ordered this several times before, it has always been very good. This visit however the chicken was cold and hard. Not good at all. We ate, tipped nicely and left. We decided to call and politely let them know that the salad was sub par due to the chicken being cold and hard. I was very surprised that the evening manager said "well we we're busy". Offering no comment, apology or interest in our feedback. Yes. We were all there. You were not busy. While I was being quite nice and complimentary, I was met with a rude, uncaring manager. I have met and talked with the owner. She would not approve. If you can't serve your best quality food if you are busy, how do you expect to stay busy?? We expected a more sincere response as we didn't want anything other than to suggest the salad is much better when served with warm fresh chicken. Pretty disappointed in the staff on this visit. We will still visit Southside, but anymore rudeness and we will get our pizza and salad from Angelo's. read more

The pizza was really good and the drinks were cheap and strong. However, I am only giving this place 3 stars due to the lack of professionalism I experienced on a Wednesday night. I came with my friends for some karaoke. When I first walked up the the DJ to put in a song, he ignored me. After about 10 minutes he finally asked me what I wanted to put in. Now, you have to understand that there was a guy behind me who also wanted a song, and he put him in as well. Long story short, at 1 I heard the call for last song, and it was the guy who put in his song AFTER I did! I was confused so I went to ask the DJ what was going on. And his response..."well he comes here every week and pays me!"...are you kidding me?! So I did what any person in their right mind would do. I told him this is not the way to bring in customers and he was being very unprofessional. Then, what he did next really got me heated. He got on the mic and disrespected me to the whole place. At this point I left right away before I did something stupid. I will not be going back to this place after that experience. I am a person, and I do not appreciate being disrespected like that! read more

Not only was the food delivered before it said it would be.. the food was still hot and tastes delicious (I eat as I write). I got the medium supreme pizza and two orders of wings.. I was afraid the wings would be soggy by the time they got here but they were extra crisp still!! So yummy read more

Pretty decent pizza but I've been to this restaurant twice now and both times someone's pizza was forgotten and all that we received was a "sorry". I came and expected to pay for a hot pizza to enjoy with friends but instead got to take a fresh pizza home in a to go box to eat at a later time. Treat your customers better. read more

Left my pizza in the rain and didn't even call to notify me that the pizza had been delivered. I didn't hear the doorbell/knock and am very upset with the service I received. read more

I didn't have the pizza, so I'm only rating this place as a bar. They have $1 beers (bottle and drafts) and some of them aren't that bad. You can't really beat $1 beers. Also, on Wednesday night there's karaoke. There's a couple of pool tables. It's not really a college hangout. I would actually say it's more of a townie bar, but it's a cool enough place. read more

This place is a SCAM!! They advertise beer specials that they don't really offer.. Menu says $1 dollar bottles which they do not honor anymore, also says $1.50 pints of Boulevard which they do not honor. Does anyone else find a little disturbing that the bartenders/owners stuff cash into their pockets instead of straight into the register? Hmm.. The late night delivery is convenient but they don't tell you a total or wait time on the phone but they do, however, ask you how much you want to tip on your card before your pizza even enters the oven..??? When they do show up to your house, the total is always an even dollar amount. Coincedental?? Don't think so. Do all of the honest, hard working business owners in town a favor and stop patronizing this place. read more

I'm absolutely appalled at the service we received. We went in on a Saturday night around 5:30, and there was literally NO ONE there, except for a few people at the bar. With it being our first time, we were confused as to whether we should seat ourselves, or wait to be seated. The lady (who ultimately ended up being our waitress) just stared at us while we continued to look confused. We ended up just picking a table in hopes that someone would notice that we came in. Once our waitress FINALLY came around... and after some drink confusion, we ordered our food. I have to be honest, I don't know what all the hype is about their pizza. It was just alright. Now, maybe it's because it was thin crust, (which I don't like) or maybe it's because it was cut into squares (which I also don't like) but it wasn't that good. I could have picked up a red baron pizza at Gerbes and have been just as satisfied. Then, heaven forbid we wanted to pay for our food and leave. No, we had to wait around another 30 minutes in a completely dead restaurant just to pay our bill. Their food is basically bar food. If you're drunk as hell with numb taste buds and you're completely ravenous, then I'm sure Southside is gonna be BALLIN. But otherwise, stay away. So I guess if you have 2 hours to spend on sub-par food and awful service, Southside is the place to be! read more

I enjoy coming to Southside for karaoke on Wednesday nights. They do get pretty busy then so it may take awhile for your drinks or food but I still enjoy it. The bathrooms seem to be neglected during that time because it is so busy, which is understanding, but a bummer where there is no toliet paper in the stalls. I end up asking one of the owners or their son, for toilet paper so I can just make sure my other ladies dont run out. They have very good service and good pizza. The waitresses are always friendly. I prefer them over any other place but I am not a big fan of when they have UFC nights and that requires a cover so I will just go home instead. Lots of TVs and large projectors so watching a Blues game or Cardinals game is exciting there. Also its Christmas 24/7 because they have string lights lining the inside which makes it look cool. Probably another reason I like it so much. read more

Ordered two pizzas for carry out. Got home and noticed one was incorrect. After a less-than-helpful phone call, we returned for the correct pizza. Upon arrival - without the original pizza - we were essentially accused of lying. No one on the phone told us to specifically bring it back, so we left it at home. We were given the corrected pizza, but the immediate staff behind the counter made the whole experience unnecessarily ugly. Won't return. What happened to the customer always being right? read more

I heard that this place has amazing pizza...but the pizza was only ok. I have definitely had much better. They deliver pizza until 4 am though, and that sounds amazing. According to the website they have karaoke and live music on some nights. And they have $1 beers all of the time, I think. But, I'm judging this place on its pizza and it wasn't good. read more

The pizza is great. They are open late. Those are the two things that attracted me. The service makes me want to never step foot in there again. I had to wait forever I was greeted by a surly young women who we order waters from and told her we needed a menu. My water tasted like soap. The menu was thrown at us and she took FOREVER to come wait on us. My friend made a comment about the service so the young woman yelled at us told us we could leave. We did not because I was starving and simply wanted pizza. She came over and rudely asked why we were still there. I ordered my food to go and ate it in the parking lot because the vibe was so bad I couldn't bear to be in the restaurant. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! read more

Thought I semi-liked this place but I'm pretty much done now. Came for the World Series final and got our check, put cash on the table for the tip and the waitress snatched it up, walked to the bar and proceeded to talk badly about our table to other servers because she didn't think it was enough. We weren't even ready to leave yet so more of us were actually getting tips ready. Service is always extremely slow, and the food is below average. Pizza is like a grease ball. The only reason we liked coming here was that if you wanted to drink and watch a big game or UFC fight you were more likely to get a seat here than at B Dubs. Oh, but B Dubs doesn't charge cover when you go to watch games/fights there. (Expect to pay $10 cover on fight nights at Southside.) read more

Good food and drinks but the service (depending on who's working) will literally make me never come back. Absolutely terrible staff

Honeslty im so frustrated. Im filing a dispute with my bank. HORRIBLE service. Ever since covid has happened me and my mother have been ordering southsides alot. atleast 7+ times. 3 strikes youre out. This is a rant, and yes the food is good... sometimes. Customer Service is trash. I called in order for pick up once, was outside as i called and it took 45 mins and a second call to bring it out. Mistakes happen sure they forgot I said im here waiting... Another time I called in for delivery, The old guy was impatient trying to rush me and I had just got on the phone... "come on man lets get this started..." I literally hung up and didnt even want to order but my mom insisted...TONIGHT. out of that all that bullshit, I spend $40 avg when I order... These MF gave me a half raw ass burger, My mom ate most of hers but mine I didnt... I tasted the fuckin raw meat and Microwaved for 40 seconds before I even ate...MIND you when we called she had told them I had taken a few bites Im not a little kid i got a big ass fuckin mouth tf. So the driver gets here and doesnt even look at how raw HE cooked it... tells me I ate half of the buger he cant replace it. Like nigga i just tipped you but bet im finna dispute my charge. So I call and the guy who delivered and cooked it says theres nothing he can do about it when i was asking for an email or number to text these damn pictures to and that they always cook the same... like okay ive never had this problem I damn near spent 200$ with yall this month alone and yall cant replace or render decent customer service..
